It about the sordid life forced upon two youngsters from a remote south Tamil Nadu village who are brought to Chennai city to work as counter sales people in swanky textile malls of Ranganathan Street and exploited by their employers. Mahesh who is a plus two topper is forced by the circumstances to take up a sales man job in a mall in Chennai. Anjali is also employed at the same shop. The jobs are low paying and they live in inhuman conditions provided by their exploiting mall owners. Amidst the conditions they fall in love which irks the mean management and they fight it out. The exploiting conditions in the mall don’t give way to peaceful existence and the try to start a new life out of the mall but end up ordinarily.

The movie starts off in Bangalore, with Karthi (Shiva) who lives with his friends who try to get him a job desperately. Karthi is a guy who is easy on life and has a ‘thennavatu’ attitude On one such occasion of a job hunt, Karthi spots Tamannah (Charulatha) while getting down the bus and falls for her instantly.
The hero goes to the railway station to pick a friend who owns a car that Karthi and his friends drive. While waiting for his friend to arrive, Karthi sees the terribly tensed Tamannah with her uncle, who mistake Karthi to be a cab driver and ask him to drop them at Chennai.
Accepting the travel, Karthi takes off in the black Mitsubishi Lancer along with his guests. When they pause for refueling, Tamannah asks Karthi to buzz off leaving her uncle behind. From here starts the real road trip of 'Paiyya' in full throttle.
On Tamannah's request, Karthi sets off to Mumbai, and with a fight scene on their way, Karthi reveals his connection with Mumbai. He goes in to rewind mode and reminds himself of the villain (Milind Soman).
On their journey, they encounter people, new locations and the hero and heroine get along well. The car is their home as long as the journey happens.

Major Mahadevan (Mohanlal) is the head of the elite command force. He is in charge of fighting the country’s terrorist groups and protecting the country from their terrorist intentions. Havildar Jaikumar (Jeevaa) is Major Mahadevan’s most trusted lieutenant. He meticulously carries out his chief’s instruction thereby gaining his trust and confidence. Mahadevan, Havildar Jaikumar and their team save the public from threats, attempted bombings, kidnappings, and extortions by militants.
There is a plan to blow up the famous Hazrathbal shrine by a terrorist group headed by an Afghan nawab. The aim of doing this is to create communal tension and disharmony in India. During their attack they enter the house of Kashmiri family, torture everyone in the house and holding them hostage. This unfortunate situation is informed by Police officer Gopinath (Biju Menon) to the BSF. Havildar Jaikumar who is on a wedding vacation, leaves his wife after just three days of marriage to head back to Kashmir, when he is called back by Major Mahadevan.
How the elite commandos fight terrorists, forms the rest of the story. The director brings out the fight against terrorists through brilliant scenes that show militants emerging from everywhere and trying to spiral the situation out of control. The movie ends with the brave sacrifice of the commandos in order to save their country.

This film focuses on the heroic efforts of various Rangers to get to the downed black hawks, centering on Sgt. Eversmann, leading the Ranger unit Chalk Four to the first black hawk crash site, Warrant Officer Durant who was captured after being the only survivor of the second black hawk crash, as well as many others who were involved.

The Young Black Stallion follows the adventures of Shetan, a young black colt. After a band of robbers separates an Arabian girl named Neera (Biana Tamini) from her father, she finds herself alone in the desert. Before long, a mysterious black colt comes to her rescue. The two quickly form a special bond, and the horse returns Neera to her grandfather. Once Neera is back home, the stallion disappears.
Neera greets her grandfather Ben Ishak (Richard Romanus) and her cousin Aden (Patrick Elyas) eagerly, but is disappointed and upset when she find out that her grandfather's horse breeding days are over. Ben Ishak informs Neera that because of the shootings in the desert, his fields are ruined, and he can no longer afford to keep any of his horses. He kept an old plow-horse, Abha, and set his most precious mare Jinah free. We find out later that Jinah was Shetan's mother.
A year passes, but the black stallion does not return. Neera’s grandfather tells her that the horse was probably nothing more than a product of her imagination. But Neera knows better. She thinks the stallion is the lost horse of the desert, a legend born of the sands and sired by the night sky. Then, one night, the colt appears again. In an attempt to help her grandfather start a breeding farm again, Neera joins a grueling cross-country race against the finest horses of Arabia for a purse of the most exceptional Arabian mares. Shetan, the black stallion, is trained, and Neera rides him in the competition to restore her grandfather's money and respect. In the end, Neera wins, and Shetan is reunited with his mother.

Bob Ho (Jackie Chan) is an undercover CIA superspy who decides to give up his career in espionage to settle down with his next-door neighbor and girlfriend, Gillian (Amber Valletta).
