At first, the inherent New Englandness was the very thing that kept this patently un-WASPY gal (save for my penchant for roman numeral gentlemen, see also: men who row boats) from testing the red pants/Glam Diggers waters and THEN I decided that there's something so Welcome to my Martha's Vineyard home about these red ankle-length pants. And I like it. It's all very Summer Sisters' Caitlin and Vix listening to Stevie Nicks singing "Edge of Seventeen" on a hot summer night, even if you wear them to a holiday party. When I rock mine, I'm tempted to vanish to Europe for a couple years keeping in touch with no one Caitlin style--and then return like it ain't no thing but a chicken wing looking so... grown up, just like Vix.
