Green living in Hong Kong
L'administration postale de Hong Kong suit la tendance en émettant, le 14 avril 2011, une série de timbres consacrés à différents gestes du quotidien permettant de mieux protéger l'environnement.
Une série de 4 timbres et 1 bloc-feuillet (en forme de feuille !) ont donc été émis pour l'occasion, tous conçus par Jason Chum (imprimés à nouveau en France par Cartor Security Printing).
Un des 4 timbres isolés de cette série (5$) figure sur le joli FDC officiel ci-dessous, également conçu par Jason Chum. Merci beaucoup Trudy :-)
The postal administration of Hong Kong is following the trend by issuing, on April 14, 2011, a series of stamps devoted to different everyday actions to better protect the environment.
A set of four stamps and one souvenir sheet (leaf-shaped !) have thus been issued for the occasion, all designed by Jason Chum (printed again in France by Cartor Security Printing).
One of the four single stamps part of this series ($ 5.00) appears on the nice official FDC below, also designed by Jason Chum. Thank you very much Trudy :-)
Vous aurez compris que le timbre ci-dessus est consacré au recyclage, des déchets en particulier. Avec ce timbre, la poste de Hong Kong a voulu également insister sur la réduction des emballages à la source.
Les 3 autres timbres de cette intéressante série ont pour thème : la protection et les économies d'eau, la protection de l'air et les économies d'énergie.
A noter enfin que ces timbres, ainsi que l'enveloppe FDC ci-dessus, ont été imprimés sur du papier labellisé FSC ("Forest Stewardship Council") qui garantit aux consommateurs que le papier provient de forêts aménagées de façon durable !
You've probably understood that the stamp above was devoted to recycling, waste recycling in particular. With this stamp, the Post of Hong Kong also wanted to emphasize the reduction of packaging at source.
The three other stamps of this interesting series have for theme : water protection and saving, clean air and energy savings.
To note finally that these stamps and the FDC above, were all printed on FSC ("Forest Stewardship Council") certified paper assuring consumers that this paper comes from sustainably managed forests !
