Arkansas of Blue Cross and Blue Shield is aiming to help their customers with easier access to dental care.  Their new DentalBlue GoldSM Plus Vision plan is going to make it easier for consumers to have healthy eyes and teeth through preventative care and quality coverage.

Senior Vice President of Statewide Business for Arkansas Blue Cross, Ron DeBerry, points out how Arkansas Blue Cross is known for their reliable health insurance and this should translate to affordable vision and dental care as well.  Dental care through Arkansas of Blue Cross and Blue Shield has been around, but the addition of vision is going to be the addition consumers have been waiting for.  Vision coverage includes exams, lenses, collection frames, and contact lenses.

It makes sense to include vision and dental in a comprehensive health care plan since this is an important part of well-being.  BCBS recognizes this and is working towards perfecting all of their coverage options.  The DentalBlue Gold plan will even allow members to rollover a portion of their unused benefit to the next year as an added perk.  This new plan is available to individuals as well as families and will be combining the already popular DentalBlue Gold plan with vision benefits to meet more member needs.
