Actor Ryan Phillippe is heading to a TV near you! According to Deadline Hollywood, Ryan has been one of the most sought after actors for TV pilots. It looks like he finally found a project that interested him, as he’s set to star in a currently-untitled (formerly called Golden Boy) series about a cop. Centers on cop Clark (Phillippe) and chronicles his meteoric rise from officer to detective and ultimately police commissioner. In the pilot, Phillippe joins previously cast Kevin Alejandro and Chi McBride.
I’m not a big fan of cop dramas, but for Ryan I’ll tune in and at least give it a chance. Source
Angelina Jolie says that doing charity work and experiencing the lives of those less fortunate has saved her from living a shallow life. “Without the balance of doing things that actually matter in the world – and being part of the real world – then I would have been left in a bubble. That would have felt very empty and I probably would have just had a very shallow, horrible life. “I’m very lucky that I’ve been allowed to, in the last 10 years, to travel and go into the world and welcomed into areas of the world where I see people and work with people who are survivors of war and refugees and people, just from everywhere and all walks of life and so I have a real view of the real world.”
The mom of six says these experiences have made her more grateful for her healthy kids: “I’m very touched and very moved by people and what they overcome. They have always reminded me to just wake up in the morning and be grateful that your children are healthy. Nothing else matters.”

Color her unimpressed. Madonna tells Ryan Seacrest this morning that M.I.A. was childish for her Super Bowl middle finger flip-off. “I was really surprised. I didn’t know anything about it. I wasn’t happy about it. I understand it’s punk rock and everything, but to me there was such a feeling of love and good energy, and positivity, it seemed negative. It’s such a teenager … irrelevant thing to do … there was such a feeling of love and unity there. What was the point? It was just out of place.”

Controversial singer Lana Del Rey is all anyone can talk about these days. Whether it’s her SNL performance, her hair, her lips, her nails, her voice – people have a very strong opinion about her. According to HuffPo, the singer has already landed a modeling contract and scored a huge sartorial score in posing for the cover ofVogue UK. Despite the attention, Del Rey is getting a lot of criticism in the lips department. In a new interview in the New York Times’ Tmagazine, Del Rey opens up to writer Jacob Brown about that facial feature everyone (well, everyone on the Internet) has been buzzing about. Her lips. Del Rey insists they’re real: “It’s fine,” she assures me. “They’re real lips, I mean. In real life my lips don’t look that big. I think because I cartoonized the footage of myself in the video for ‘Video Games’ things look exaggerated.”
