How to Adapt Beaded Necklace Patterns for Christmas Ornaments

Not to long ago, somebody asked me if there were beading patterns for Christmas ornaments.  I did come across them before (see end of first link below) but designer Sandra Halpenny has an even easier approach.  Just use a beaded necklace pattern which has a repeating pattern.

Her tutorial shows how to adapt one of her free beading necklace patterns into a beaded ornament. The necklace part goes around the middle of the ornament.   You then add a beaded ring at the top and connect it to the central portion.  Adding a fringe is optional.

Cool tip!
