THE BEADING GEM'S JOURNAL

I really like the idea of making your own slider beads on European leather bracelets. They make for unique focals. See my wire work slider designs here and here. I mentioned beaded ones will be awesome too. So here is a great convertible Pip bead flower tutorial by Chloe Menage for Beads Direct UK.

The beaded bezel focal is a square Swarovski fancy stone which has a beaded strap underneath to make it into a slider charm. So you have an option of wearing it with a a completely beaded bracelet (above) or slipping it off onto a plain strap bracelet. Shown below is Beads Direct's latex-free rubber bracelet but also consider a European leather bracelet. A triple wrap version with the focal in the middle would be awesome!
