How to Make a Seed Bead and Wire Snowflake

Bead and wire snowflakes are not only fun to do but versatile as well. Use them not just in jewelry designs but for the Christmas tree! I missed this tutorial from Preciosa Ornela last year. No matter, the design is perennial and won't melt either.  The designer,  Helena Chmelíková, came up with 3 distinctly different designs.

As you can guess, a fine wire is used - 28 G - to be able to get through the seed beads.

The tutorial was originally created in advance of the Sochi Winter Olympics. Hence the patriotic colors.  You can make them any color you want.

I rather like how they suspended the 3 snowflakes all in a row. Won't this make a great pendant set?
