Fellow Canadian and polymer clay instructor, Cindy Lietz, has a great tip for making your own clay texture stamp from buttons and wine corks. It is very easy to make and is budget friendly. Cindy demonstrates how she uses shank buttons. Regular buttons can just be glued on the ends of the corks without pre-cutting slits.
These stamps not just for polymer clay. Consider using them for resin clay and metal clay designs too. So check out your button box or look out for some vintage ones in yard sales, charity shops and so on.
