The tutorial is by jillsmoker on Instructables. What is outstanding about this DIY is that the instructor
shows different tools and techniques at each major step of this completely handmade design. For example, you could use metal shears to cut the brass sheet. Alternatively, a jewelry saw or band saw can also be used if you have them and know how to use them.
Another example is the section on making your own jump rings. You could just cut the wire coil with your flush cutter. But what intrigued me was this homemade simple jig (
or you can purchase on Etsy) which allows you to saw through the wire coil safely. The saw blade is placed in the V of the perspex.
Well worth reading the tutorial to learn about the basic metalwork techniques needed to create such bracelets.
