A message from Nicole

Sometimes, a project starts small and grows in ways we had never imagined. That is the case for Remember This: The Lesson of Jan Karski, the play about Holocaust witness Jan Karski. Georgetown Professor Derek Goldman and the team at "The Lab" (The Georgetown Laboratory for Global Performance and Politics) started working on a theatrical version of Karski's story nine years ago. It then transferred to the Shakespeare Theatre Company before embarking on a successful U.S. tour. Tomorrow, a film version of the story opens at theaters across the nation. Check out our story to learn how this "little project that could" made its way from DC to the world.

Also in local theater news today: Theatre J has a new artistic director, and Broadway favorite Jessica Vosk is coming to town! We caught up with the Wicked alum before her DC debut at Sixth & I.

Happy theatergoing,
