Assistant professor Gina Sideli is leading a decade-long plant breeding project that’s moving into its final trial to identify a new and improved blueberry cultivar to bring to market, and that can produce a sweeter, firmer fruit for Garden State growers. Read more.

As an extension specialist in tree fruit, Anne Nielsen’s goal is to protect the natural world by developing sustainable management practices. She focuses on invasive species, including stink bugs and spotted lanternflies and their effects on fruit crops. Read more.
