There is something terribly wrong in America when our soldiers' voting rights are systematically destroyed under this administration.

These men and women are putting their lives on the line every day and dying in record numbers under Obama's crippling rules of engagement. And how does Obama thank them? By making sure their vote doesn't count. This is no accident.

J. Christian Adams was the heroic election lawyer who served in the Voting Rights Section at the U.S. Department of Justice. He blew the lid off the Black Panther case of voter intimidation that Holder refused to prosecute.

The sabotage of the military vote is a high crime. I previously reported on Lema Bashir, the Palestinian stealth jihadist at Obama's Department of Justice. Lema Bashir was at the center of Virginia's failing to mail military ballots in time in 2008. The same mistakes were made again in 2010, and United States military voters were heavily disenfranchised because of in-actions by Bashir and DOJ throughout that year.

Disenfranchising the military vote is policy. You could make a case that bad mistakes were made in 2008, but that when those same mistakes are made and made worse in 2010 by a devout Muslim who calls Israel "northern Palestine," I submit that it is no accident but deliberate policy.

Members of the armed services can visit a Pizza Hut on base in Iraq, but the Pentagon has failed to comply with a 2009 law requiring voter registration offices on every military installation.
A new report on military voting shows declining participation rates in the 2010 election despite an attempted congressional fix. Obama administration incompetence implementing the law is to blame.

Because service members have voted at historically low rates, Congress passed the MOVE Act in 2009. MOVE was supposed to cure impediments to voting by mandating absentee ballots mail overseas at least 45 days before election day. MOVE also required every military installation to have a voter registration office.

Sadly, a new report shows the problem has only grown worse, no thanks to a lackadaisical Justice Department and a Pentagon with misplaced priorities.

The report by the Military Voter Protection Project and Chapman University's AMVET's clinic concludes that participation rates by uniformed service members actually declined in the 2010 election, despite the MOVE Act.

Data collected by congressional mandate reveal that only 4.6 percent of eligible military voters cast an absentee ballot that counted. In 2006, it was 5.5 percent. These numbers came despite the MOVE mandate of a voter registration office on every military installation before the November 2010 election.

Yet Defense Department political appointees waited until three weeks after the 2010 election to issue the order to establish the offices. Now six months before the start of presidential primaries, a quarter of military installations remain noncompliant with the legal obligation to have functioning voter registration offices.

Contrast the Pentagon slow-walk on military voting with the blitz to integrate gays into the armed services. No resource limitation interfered with forcing every member of the armed services to sit through hours of sensitivity training.

Perhaps too busy acclimating warriors to the new gay policy, the Pentagon bureaucracy continues to resist voter registration offices, particularly for Marine installations.

Helping service members vote isn't a priority of the Obama administration, especially before 2012. Even the Pentagon unit tasked with helping service members to vote (FVAP) is targeted for a 30 percent budget slash.

Tomorrow, Rep. Joe Wilson, R-S.C., will hold a hearing to determine what went wrong at DOD in 2010. The inept enforcement efforts at Attorney General Eric Holder's Justice Department also merit scrutiny.

Helping felons restore their right to vote is a priority at the DOJ Civil Rights Division. Unfortunately, the infamous division also enforces the MOVE Act. It took DOJ an embarrassing nine months after MOVE passed to update its webpage with the new standards.

Until July 2010, DOJ actually publicized the weaker protections of the pre-MOVE law. The responsible bureaucrat allowed a memo seeking approval for website changes to gather dust for months.

At DOJ, encouraging felons to vote is more important than helping a Marine understand her new rights. DOJ ineptitude didn't end with a stale webpage. In February 2010, the same unhurried official told a convention of state election officials that litigation to enforce MOVE wasn't a priority of the Justice Department.

When she was told to use the toilets of a nearby shopping centre she argued with a manager before being offered an empty room under supervision.

'If someone from another culture started praying in the waiting room, I wouldn't say, "Excuse me, you're offending me" I would respect it because it's their culture.

'So I shouldn't be made to feel what I wanted to do was wrong just because it's not in their culture.

Here it comes. Liberal pablum in the classroom. School lessons about 911 should be accurate and fact-based. Children should be schooled in the motivation behind the largest, bloodiest attack on American soil in our nation's history. Students should be taught the bloody and merciless 1,400-year history of Islamic jihad. Mumbai, London, Bali, Baghdad, Madrid, Beslan, Jerusalem, Sderot, Nigeria, Indoneisa, Somalia ... the list is endless. Instead, the schools are enforcing the blasphemy laws under the sharia: do not insult Islam.

911 is not about teaching our children that the "tragedy" taught the vicitms of this mass murder "tolerance," nor is it about Bruce Springsteen's song "The Rising." And it is not a "tragedy." A car accident is tragedy. A terminal illness is a tragedy. This was an open declaration of war. Nowhere in this article or in the school teachers' and official's remarks does anyone dare mention Islam or Islamic jihad.

That is the lesson being taught. That we surrendered.

N.J. schools will offer lessons about 9/11 attacks Wednesday, July 13, 2011

TRENTON — Students in New Jersey, a state that lost about 700 residents in the Sept. 11 attacks, can soon get classroom lessons on the attacks, from the history of terrorism to the heroics of regular people.

Acting state Education Commissioner Christopher Cerf is scheduled to join with a volunteer task force Thursday to unveil a curriculum revolving around Sept. 11.

Implementing the curriculum, which features lessons for students from kindergarten through high school, will be voluntary and open to schools public and private, in New Jersey or elsewhere. Schools in France and Missouri have expressed interest, organizers say.

Donna Gaffney, a co-founder of the 4 Action Initiative, which put the lessons together, said they fit in with New Jersey's school content standards.

"It's important for the kids to be able to understand what happened. This was a national tragedy. So many lives were lost. It's important that we remember not only those people who lost their lives but also had people came together," said Dena Ann Drobish, a third-grade teacher in Parsippany-Troy Hills who helped developed the lessons and has tried them out over the past two years.

The project was conceived by Maryellen Salamone, a co-founder of Families of September 11. Former Gov. Thomas Kean, the co-chairman of the federal Sept. 11 Commission, suggested the tone for the lessons.

It's not the first set of lessons about the attacks, but it's aiming to be particularly expansive.

The curriculum seeks to look at many aspects of the attacks in age-appropriate ways, mostly leaving out the grisly images of the day. There are 56 lessons geared to different age groups.

In the first days of school, for instance — which will fall right around the 10th anniversary of the attacks — Drobish plans to use a lesson about a retired fireboat that was used to help fight the fires at the World Trade Center on Sept. 11, 2001.

The students who will be in her class this fall were born after the attacks. Some of them know details, she said, and others don't. And in her area, only about 25 miles from Manhattan, there are families who lost people in the attacks.

She said she likes the lessons because they emphasize the good that grew out of the tragedy, which she says is needed for students as young as the ones she teaches.

Gaffney said older students will have more complicated lessons, including examining the history of terrorism and examining "The Rising," the song Bruce Springsteen wrote in reaction to the attacks.

The lessons recommend some kind of action. The suggestions range from creating art about tolerance to planning service projects to honor or remember people from their school communities.

"The lesson is that extremism and hate can lead to the ultimate consequence of thousands of innocent people being murdered," said Phil Kirschner, who chairs the New Jersey Commission on Holocaust Education, part of a coalition that developed the curriculum. "We try to teach our students to be what we call 'upstanders,' and not bystanders. If you see hateful speech or actions, you need to confront it."

Drobish, the teacher, said that before she had the lesson plans, she had another approach to talking with students about Sept. 11: "very carefully."

Red Alert: Multiple Explosions in Mumbai Stratfor July 13, 2011

Three explosions were reported in Mumbai on July 13 in the crowded Opera House, Zaveri Bazaar and Dadar areas of the city. The explosions began around 7:10 p.m. and occurred within minutes of each other. There are reports that a fourth bomb, likely at the Roxy Theater, failed to detonate. Current casualty estimates indicate five people have been killed and 100 injured thus far.

This marks the first major attack in India since the November 2008 Mumbai attacks. Though the magnitude of these attacks has yet to be determined, this attack does not appear to be as sophisticated as the 2008 attacks, which involved an assault team consisting of a number of militants that coordinated 10 shooting and bombing attacks across the city. The July 13 attack, by contrast, appears to have not involved suicide attackers but consisted of explosives placed in a taxi, a meter box and locations where they could be remotely detonated. This tactic is much more in line with those used by more amateurish groups, such the Indian Mujahideen, who have targeted crowded urban areas before.

Nonetheless, the attack comes at a critical juncture in U.S.-Pakistani relations as the United States is trying to accelerate a withdrawal of its military forces in Afghanistan. The 2008 Mumbai attacks revealed the extent to which traditional Pakistan-based Islamist militant groups, such as elements from the defunct Lashkar-e-Taiba, had collaborated with transnational jihadist elements like al Qaeda in trying to instigate a crisis between Islamabad and New Delhi. Such a crisis would complicate U.S.-Pakistani dealings on Afghanistan, potentially serving the interests of al Qaeda as well as factions within Pakistan trying to derail a negotiation between the United States and Pakistan.

Three near-simultaneous explosions have shaken India's commercial capital Mumbai (Bombay), police say.

Seventeen people were killed and 81 injured, said Maharashtra state's chief minister Prithviraj Chavan.

He called the explosions, during Mumbai's busy evening rush-hour, "a co-ordinated attack by terrorists".

One explosion was reported in the Zaveri Bazaar, another in the Opera House business district and a third in Dadar district in the city centre.

Police sources were reported as saying the explosions were caused by home-made bombs.

The attacks are the worst in Mumbai since November 2008 when 10 gunmen launched a three-day co-ordinated raid in which 166 people were killed.

The leftist/Islamic machine is in full throttle leading up to the 10th anniversary of Sept. 11 – and so now we are entering the final phase of the most successful jihad attacks ever on American soil, that murdered 3,000 people almost 10 years ago.

The radical Ground Zero mosque imam, Feisal Abdul Rauf, once said that "9/11 was a watershed, was a major milestone, and a major catalytic force in catalyzing the attention towards the issue of Islam, its presence in the West."

And so it has. The leftist/Islamic machine has been busy in the propaganda war leading up to Sept. 11, 2011. Their foot soldiers (the young and clueless) are hitting the streets, shilling for the Ground Zero mosque, asking passersby: "Are you for the building/community center?" And they're claiming that "it's not a mosque."

They're creating Goebbels-style propaganda websites and promotional videos, trying desperately for them to go viral. Big money is being spent lavishly on sites like "Change the Story" – yes, change the story from 3,000 people murdered for Islam to the taqiyya claim that jihad is good for you and that the problem is not bloodthirsty jihad-minded Muslims and stealthy Islamic supremacists, but non-Muslims who resist them.

Another jihadist propaganda website, Prepare New York for 911, is running a similar video. It galled me, and if you watch it, you'll see the level of subtle, stealth attack we are under: This video is insulting and grotesque. It is a smear campaign of destruction to advance Islam. It says Shariah is concerned with personal religious observance and never mentions its political, repressive and supremacist aspects. It equates resistance to Shariah with anti-Semitism and other bigotry, but never mentions that Jews and other targets of that bigotry were never sponsoring terror attacks and never advancing a law that would subjugate nonbelievers and deny them basic rights. Its selling of Shariah as similar to Jewish law is a lowlife lie. It ignores the fact that there is no coercion in Jewish law, while Islamic law is full of compulsion and brutality.

There are many such initiatives. An evidently well-paid publicist, Elizabeth Potter, has contacted me no less than eight times in the past two weeks to promote the taqiyya (the Islamic mandate to deceive to advance Islam) in yet another video for myfellowamerican.us.

Hamas-tied Islamic supremacist Abdurahman Alamoudi is Grover Norquist's good buddy and partner. He is serving 23 years. Now federal prosecutors are asking a judge to cut the his prison term. Who is behind that?

Above checks are monies Alamoudi gave to Grover Norquist. Back in 2009, Insight magazine wrote:

Norquist was Alamoudi’s most influential Washington facilitator, authorities believe, noting that Norquist reminds friend and foe alike that he is close to the president’s powerful political strategist, Karl Rove.

Norquist, who previously has denied any suggestion that his work facilitated any wrongdoing, not only introduced Alamoudi to Washington GOP power circles but also Sammy Al Arian, whom prosecutors arrested earlier this year for alleged terrorist activities. Federal law-enforcement sources say they are focusing on some of Norquist’s associates and financial ties to terrorist groups.

Alamoudi ran, directed, founded or funded at least 15 Muslim political-action and charitable groups that have taken over the public voice of Islamic Americans. Through a mix of civil-rights complaints, Old Left-style political coalitions and sheer persistence, Alamoudi helped inch the image of U.S.-based Islamists toward the political mainstream and induced politicians to embrace his organizations. He sought to secure the support first of the Clinton administration in seeking to repeal certain antiterrorist laws, but when Bill Clinton failed to deliver, Alamoudi defected to Bush, then governor of Texas. Alamoudi and other Muslim leaders met with Bush in Austin in July [2000], offering to support his bid for the White House in exchange for Bush’s commitment to repeal certain antiterrorist laws.

That meeting, sources say, began a somewhat strained relationship between the self-appointed Muslim leaders and the Bush team. Some senior Bush advisers voiced caution to Rove, who is said to have disregarded such concerns, seeing instead an opportunity to bring another ethnic and religious group into the GOP big tent. A photo of the Austin event shows Bush with Alamoudi standing over his left shoulder, flanked by the former head of the Pakistani Communist Party, several open supporters of the Hamas and Hezbollah terrorist groups and other individuals Insight is trying to identify.

Canceled checks obtained by Insight show Alamoudi provided seed money to start a GOP-oriented Muslim group called the Islamic Institute, which Norquist originally chaired and now is led by former Alamoudi aide and former AMC staffer Khaled Saffuri. A White House memo obtained by Insight prepared for coordinating Muslim and Arab-American “public-liaison” events with the White House shows that the Islamic Institute was instrumental in establishing the connection. The memo, from early 2001, provides lists of invitees and the name, date of birth and Social Security number of each. Norquist, as the first chairman of the Islamic Institute, tops the list.

Alamoudi and others, including Norquist, tried to keep critics at bay by branding them as “racists” and “bigots.”

Why does the Republican party tolerate the subversive Norquist? I don't care how much dirty money he greases the corruptible with. Norquist fiercely opposed the Patriot act. He fiercely supports Obama's desire to close GITMO. He supports trying the 911 mastermind Khalid Sheik Muhammad in civilian court. He supports transferring GITMO detainees to Thomson, Illinois. He supports open borders. He openly aligns with Muslim Brotherhood groups under the guise of outreach and inclusiveness.

Republicans must shun this security-undermining infiltrator. Our next president (and every elected official) must never engage in “outreach” efforts when the price is our national security and sovereignty.

Feds want to cut prison sentence of Hamas-linked one-time leading U.S. moderate Muslim Jihadwatch

Abdurahman Alamoudi was once a power broker in Washington, and the leading "moderate Muslim" in the country. He was also an avowed supporter of the jihad terror groups Hamas and Hizballah. Here is background from a 2004 article by Daniel Pipes:

In 2002, the spokesman for FBI director Robert Mueller memorably described the American Muslim Council (AMC) as the “the most mainstream Muslim group in the United States.” A year later, the Catholic bishops called the AMC “the premier, mainstream Muslim group in Washington.”

Its founder and long-time chief, Abdurahman Alamoudi, was a Washington fixture. He had many meetings with both Clintons in the White House and once joined George W. Bush at a prayer service. He arranged a Ramadan fast-breaking dinner for congressional leaders. He six times lectured abroad for the State Department and founded an organization to provide Muslim chaplains for the Department of Defense. One of his former AMC employees, Faisal Gill, serves as policy director at the Department of Homeland Security’s intelligence division.

In brief, as the Washington Post describes him, Alamoudi was “a pillar of the local Muslim community.”

But the one-time high-flyer last week signed a plea agreement with the U.S. government admitting his multiple crimes in return for a reduced sentence. His confession makes for startling reading.

Alamoudi acknowledges having obtained money from the Libyan government and other foreign sources, “unlawfully, knowingly, and willfully falsified, concealed and covered up by a trick, scheme and device.” He transmitted these funds to the United States, “outside of the knowledge of the United States government and without attracting the attention of law enforcement and regulatory authorities.”

In doing so, he engaged in illegal financial transactions and filed false tax returns. He lied about his overseas travels, his interest in a Swiss bank account, his affiliation with a Specially Designated Terrorist (the Hamas leader, Mousa Abu Marzook), and his membership in terrorist-related organizations. [...]

Then there is the fact that Alamoudi’s Palm Pilot, seized at the time of his arrest, contained contact information for seven men designated as global terrorists by U.S. authorities. Also, law enforcement found an unsigned Arabic-language document in Alamoudi’s office with ideas for Hamas to undertake “operations against the Israelis to delay the peace process.” And Alamoudi has at least indirect links to Osama bin Laden through the Taibah International Aid Association, a U.S. non-profit where he served along with Abdullah A. bin Laden, Osama’s nephew....

And now federal prosecutors want to cut his sentence.

ALEXANDRIA, Va. — Federal prosecutors are asking a judge to cut the 23-year prison term being served by an American Muslim activist who admitted participation in a Libyan plot to assassinate King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia.

Fifty-nine-year-old Abdurahman Alamoudi of Falls Church has been in jail since his arrest in September 2003. He pleaded guilty to illegal business dealings with Libya and admitted receiving more than $500,000 in cash from Libyan officials as part of an assassination plot.

According to court records, Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi wanted then-Prince Abdullah killed after a 2003 Arab League summit where Gadhafi felt he had been insulted....

They sell thousands a month to Muslim women in Western countries. These poor women are victims, mortally afraid of being murdered by their fathers and brothers in their zeal to restore the family "honor."

Modern medicine meets the stone age. The hymen-repair industry is indicative of both the brutality and hypocrisy of Islamic culture, even as it exalts its allegedly superior moral standards over those of the West. Islamic culture is not a culture of virtue, but a culture of fear. It does not celebrate purity, but makes a mockery of it. In the West we should be using stories like this one as teaching opportunities to impress upon non-Muslims and Muslims alike the dignity and value of each human being, and the fundamental principle that one's personal morality is for G-d and each individual to judge, and should not be made subject to the barbaric moral calculus that leads to this kind of desperate measure.

Respect for the sharia in the West leads to the continued dehumanization and diminishing of women in the West.

Women who cannot afford to get their hymens surgically re-attached in Canada prior to marriages in their cultural country of origin have a less expensive option: they can order one in the mail.

Starting at just $29.95, women can order a false hymen online, shipped from China.

The imports are officially banned in many Middle Eastern and North African countries, but women in North America and Great Britain are a fertile market.

"We have many urgent requests from women, begging us for urgent delivery before their wedding night," says Mike Munro, with the Hymenshop.com. The online store opened in March 2010, and sells a couple thousand per month.

"There are some cultural notions out there that the ordinary person cannot just challenge and try and change them without paying a very dear price and in some case with their own lives."

In Canada, some young women from predominantly Muslim backgrounds are desperate to appear as virgins, fearing they could be killed by their families if they do not have an intact hymen on their marriage beds after arranged marriages in their cultural home countries.

Some are getting plastic surgery in Canadian private clinics to re-attach their hymens.

The mail-order version is a thin film containing a packet of red fluid. The website advises to insert the film 20 minutes prior to sex in order to mimic the breaking of the hymen and showing the required "blood."

The parcels come with alternate markings from generic sounding companies, evading interception.

"Woman belonging to these sorts of cultures will have to work around these notions if they wish to have a safe and 'normal' family lives and we provide them with this opportunity." says Munro.

Retired Navy Adm. James A. Lyons was commander-in-chief of the U.S. Pacific Fleet and senior U.S. military representative to the United Nations. If only men like him were still in charge.

Political correctness prevents Army from recognizing sedition

Today, the mind-numbing disease of political correctness has so infected the American military leadership that it is a threat in itself. The political correctness mentality was the principal reason why Fort Hood’s alleged murderer, Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan, was not cashiered out of the Army after a shocking June 2007 PowerPoint presentation he gave as part of his psychiatric residency program. In that presentation, he reportedly warned his Army colleagues and supervisor at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center of “adverse events” that would occur if the Army did not accept the precepts of Islamic Shariah law and grant Muslims serving in the Army conscientious objector status.

He went on to describe what he meant by adverse events, citing previous cases of Muslims murdering their fellow soldiers, spying against the United States, deserting their units and refusing to deploy. None of his fellow doctors or his supervisor reported his remarks, most likely out of fear of being labeled a bigot or racist, which in today’s military could end one’s career.

Now it seems the Army has embraced Maj. Hasan’s position in an incredible decision made last month by the secretary of the Army to grant conscientious objector status to Pfc. Naser Abdo. He is a 21-year-old soldier, a member of the 1st Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division at Fort Campbell, Ky., who refused to deploy to Afghanistan, claiming that Shariah law prevented him from killing other Muslims.

The fact that Shariah law is totally incompatible with the U.S. Constitution and has no legal basis in the United States was somehow overlooked in the Army’s decision process. Shariah is a totalitarian legal-military-political system that is designed to control every aspect of an individual’s life and is antithetical to our concept of freedom and democracy. By its dictates, Shariah is seditious.

By acceding to the dictates of Shariah, the Army has tacitly endorsed an absurd position that in effect sanctions Muslim service members to kill non-Muslims but forbids them to kill Muslims. Further, it is an unbelievable basis on which to classify them as conscientious objectors.

When Pfc. Abdo enlisted, he stated he initially believed that he could be a soldier and a Muslim at the same time. What changed his vision? He stated that his understanding of Islam “changed” as he went through training ahead of a planned deployment to Afghanistan. He worried whether going to war was the right thing to do.

This would indicate that someone in the Army training process for an overseas deployment in the 2009-10 time frame was indoctrinating Pfc. Abdo and other Muslim soldiers. Could it have been one of the Muslim chaplains personally selected by Abdurahman Alamoudi, who currently is serving a 23-year sentence in a federal prison? As a result of his close connections in the Clinton White House, Alamoudi had the lead role in establishing the Muslim chaplain program. He nominated and approved which Muslim chaplains could serve in the U.S. military. The chaplains have never been vetted. This, together with a review of how Muslim military personnel currently are being indoctrinated, needs to be examined on an expedited basis.

Who helped the Army come to this inconceivable position on classifying Pfc. Abdo as a conscientious objector? My guess would be the Army received “guidance” from its Muslim “outreach partners,” who it believes are operating in America’s best interest. This would be classic stealth jihad at its finest.

By granting conscientious objector status to Pfc. Abdo, the Army is tacitly accepting a key tenet of the Islamic doctrine of jihad, as embraced by al Qaeda and other terrorists groups, which states that any incursion by non-Muslims into the Islamic lands makes it the duty for all Muslims to fight the “occupiers.” This view is shared by Afghan President Hamid Karzai, who has challenged American efforts in Afghanistan as “unwelcome outsiders,” in effect, occupiers.

The U.S. military is the finest in the world. It represents the best of America. We have many Muslims serving honorably in the U.S. military and their service should not be tainted by Pfc. Abdo’s conscientious objector designation. His discharge from the Army is currently on hold because he has been charged with possession of child pornography. That should not be surprising: Shariah sanctions marriage of girls 9 years old and younger, in effect, legalized pedophilia.
