"Reactions to Today's Terror Attack on Israeli Tourists in Bulgaria" UN Watch, July 18, 2012

A bus carrying Israeli tourists at Bulgaria's Burgas airport suddenly exploded today, killing seven and wounding at least 30 more.

• A U.N. spokesperson said that Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon condemned the attack "in the strongest possible terms." In fact, however, the U.N. chief's choice of terms was weak in comparison to his statement two weeks ago on the bombing of churches in Kenya. In that case, Mr. Ban rightly spoke of "terrorist" attacks, "reprehensible and criminal," saying the perpetrators "must be held to account." Yet today he referred only to the deadly "bombing" of Israelis -- noticeably declining to describe it as an act of terrorism -- and he made no call for holding the perpetrators to account. UN Watch today urged Mr. Ban to clarify his position and to truly use the strongest possible terms to condemn today's terrorist attack.

• U.N. High Commissioner for Human Rights Navi Pillay has remained silent on today's attack. By contrast, hours after the Gaza Flotilla incident of 2010, Ms. Pillay expresed her "shock" and condemned Israel. The top story on her office website instead criticizes Western states for how they combat terrorism, with America accused of having "dangerous" laws that violate due process. Supported by a Facebook campaign now going viral, UN Watch called on the High Commissioner to speak out for victims of terrorism, condemn today's gruesome murders in Bulgaria, and instruct her staff to investigate the perpetrators and hold them fully accountable for the crimes.

• The U.N.'s 47-nation Human Rights Council has also stayed silent. By contrast, in 2004 it wasted no time in convening an emergency session to eulogize Hamas terrorist leader Sheikh Ahmed Yassin, and to condemn Israel. Currently, the council is busy with yet another "fact-finding mission" into alleged Israeli human rights violations. The council has never mandated an inquiry into terrorism or rocket attacks targeting Israelis.

Further proof that the narrative advanced by Muslims in Bosnia is more myth than truth.

US resident Almaz Nezirovic is a Muslim Bosnian prison camp guard. He is accused of torturing and beating civilian Serbian prisoners during the civil war in the former Yugoslavia in the 1990s.

But before he came to the Roanoke Valley in 1997, Nezirovic was a member of the Croatian Defense Council military force, federal prosecutors say. He worked at the Rabic prison camp in Bosnia-Herzegovina, where in 1992 he "willfully caused great suffering and serious injury" to Serb prisoners, according to an indictment in U.S. District Court in Charlottesville.

A former Bosnian prison camp guard now living in Roanoke County was led in handcuffs to a federal courtroom Tuesday, where he was told he faces extradition to his native country on charges of committing war crimes.

Almaz Nezirovic was ordered held without bond during a brief hearing in U.S. District Court in Roanoke.

Court papers unsealed late in the day accuse Nezirovic of torturing Serbian civilians who were sent to a prison camp during the civil war in the former Yugoslavia, now known as Bosnia-Herzegovina.

The prisoners were beaten with rifles and batons, starved, ordered to crawl naked on the ground and forced to eat grass soaked with urine, a seven-page complaint charges.

"In these and other ways, the Fugitive participated in torturing and inflicting cruel, inhumane and humiliating treatment on multiple prisoners at the Rabic camp," the complaint states.

Nezirovic -- who had been living quietly as a welder and soccer coach in Roanoke County since immigrating to the United States about 15 years ago -- appeared stunned and defiant during his hearing.

"I was very surprised," he told Magistrate Judge Robert Ballou in broken English.

Why was he surprised? Because they West bought the Muslim narrative hook, line and sinker? Or was he surprised because he thought infidels should be treated worse than animals?

Wearing a yellow T-shirt and shorts, his long, dark hair tied back in a ponytail, he turned several times to make eye contact with about a dozen family members and friends sitting in the courtroom.

"We love you," a woman called out as he was led away.

Although the charges against him were filed in 2003 by authorities in Bosnia-Herzegovina, Nezirovic had more recently been facing separate but related federal charges in Roanoke.

In June 2011, he was charged with lying on an application for U.S. citizenship and making a false statement during a naturalization interview.

Federal prosecutors said at the time that Nezirovic, 53, indicated on the applications that he had never committed acts for which he could be charged criminally -- such as the alleged abuse of prisoners at the war camp.

After his indictment, Nezirovic was allowed to remain free on bond. He had been living in his Roanoke County home without incident until his arrest Tuesday morning on an extradition warrant.

Since the federal charges were filed last year in Roanoke, authorities in Bosnia-Herzegovina have decided to prosecute Nezirovic on charges that he committed war crimes in the early 1990s and asked that he be extradited.

That decision apparently takes precedence over the pending federal case in Roanoke, which was set for trial in September.

U.S. Attorney Timothy Heaphy said his office will present additional evidence supporting the charges to Ballou within 60 days. The judge will then decide whether Nezirovic should be extradited.

In 2004, one year after Nezirovic was charged by the government of Bosnia-Herzegovina with war crimes, U.S. officials refused to extradite him, according to his attorney, public defender Fay Spence.

The more recent extradition efforts apparently came after the Bosnia-Herzegovina government presented additional information to the U.S. State Department.

Nezirovic denies the charges, Spence has written in court documents.

The allegations against Nezirovic are politically motivated and stem from lingering tensions between ethnic and religious groups in the war-torn country, Spence maintains.

During his country's civil war in the 1990s, Nezirovic was a member of the Croatian Defense Council military force and worked in the Rabic prison camp that held Serb civilians.

As a Bozniak Muslim, Nezirovic wanted no part of the three-way fighting among Serbs, Croatians and Muslims, Spence has written in court documents. But when his homeland of Derventa was invaded by Serb nationalists, Nezirovic said he joined a Croatian paramilitary group as an act of self-defense.

When questioned by Committee Chairman Mike Rogers (R-Ala.) on whether he could assure Americans that no foreign terrorists were currently enrolled in flight school programs, according to the report, GAO director of Homeland Security and Justice Issues Stephen Lord put it simply.

“At this time,  no,” Lord responded.

The Government Accountability Office’s (GAO) director of Homeland Security reported Wednesday that almost eleven years after the 9/11 attacks, government agencies still cannot guarantee that potential terrorists cannot attend flight schools and receive pilots’ licenses.

In a hearing before the House Committee on Homeland Security Wednesday, members investigated the findings of a GAO General Aviation report that revealed the failure of security administrations’ ability to guarantee that terrorists are not enrolled in flying classes. The hearing examined inter-agency cooperation to ensure background checks, statuses of visas, and vetting individuals prior to their flying lessons and attempts to gain pilot licenses.

In its report, the GAO downloaded the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)  database, which keeps a record of all individuals who hold pilot licenses, and compared it to the separately maintained Transportation Security Administration (TSA) database which tracks all of the pilots who have received a background check. The GAO found that the two databases did not match up, meaning that people were acquiring pilot licenses without being completely vetted.

When questioned by Committee Chairman Mike Rogers (R-Ala.) on whether he could assure Americans that no foreign terrorists were currently enrolled in flight school programs, according to the report, GAO director of Homeland Security and Justice Issues Stephen Lord put it simply.

“At this time,  no,” Lord responded.

General Manager for General Aviation’s Office of Security Policy Kerwin Wilson told the committee that the TSA was responsible for the uncertainty.

“Ultimately the TSA is responsible for the Alien Flight Student Program,” Wilson said about a program operated by the TSA that serves to determine whether foreign nationals enrolling in flight schools entered the country illegally or pose a threat to national security.

Despite the fact that since 2009 the TSA has compared all the new and existing individuals who have procured an FAA certificate to those in the Terrorist Screening Database, one of the major issues the GAO report detailed is the fact that the vetting process does not begin until after a person has already completed flight school training.

The most recent incident happened in February 2010 when a man crashed his plane into the IRS building in Austin, Texas killing two people. In light of the fact that the plane was piloted by an American citizen, Rep. Bennie Thompson (D-Miss.) asked Wilson if American citizens on a no-fly list would be able to obtain flight training without undergoing a security threat assessment. Wilson explained that such a person could have access to flight training, but upon receiving a certificate the pilot becomes subject to an ongoing vetting process through multiple agencies for security purposes.

In 2010, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) discovered that 25 undocumented immigrants were enrolled in a flight school in Boston and had received approval from the TSA to take flying lessons. The operator of the flight school was also undocumented.

"Israel blames Iran for deadly bus explosion targeting Israeli tourists in Bulgaria" FOX News,

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is promising a strong reaction after an attack on Israeli tourists that he says was carried out by Iran. 

A bus carrying mostly Israeli youth in a Bulgaria exploded near an airport Wednesday, killing at least six people and wounding at least 32 others, the Bulgarian Foreign Ministry said. Witnesses told Israeli media that the huge blast occurred soon after someone boarded the vehicle.

A Bulgarian news agency is also reporting that two pregnant women and an 11-year-old Israeli girl are among the wounded. 

Bulgarian media is reporting that one of the victims killed is a local tour guide. Nine of the tourists are reportedly still missing, according to Haaretz news. 

The incident took place in the Black Sea resort city of Burgas, some 250 miles east of the capital, Sofia. Images shown on Israeli media showed smoke billowing from the scene -- a parking lot at the area's airport where tourists had apparently just landed.

Netanyahu said "all signs point to Iran."

This "is an Iranian terror attack that is spreading across the world," Netanyahu said. "Israel will react strongly to Iran's terror."

Burgas Mayor Dimitar Nikolov told Haaretz that explosives were placed in the back of the bus. 

The attack comes on the anniversary of a 1994 attack on a Jewish center in Buenos Aires, Argentina, that killed 85 people. Just this morning, relatives of the victims implored the Argentine government to pressure Iran to turn over seven suspects accused in that attack.

The latest expose from trailblazing conservative activist James O’Keefe’s “Project Veritas” outs unions and shows how several big-name Democrat New York politicians are colluding to earn state and federal contracts for do-nothing companies purporting to hire for so-called “environmental jobs.”

POLITICKER: In the clip, Mr. O’Keefe portrays an executive for a business that literally digs ditches and fills them back up with more dirt. He visits with John Hutchings, [....] "director” of the Laborers’ International Union of North America, and former assemblyman Ronald Tocci and another man who apparently discuss how easy it is for them to use their lobbyists and political connections to get cash for businesses.

“When we go for a bill, you know, you’ve got to get approval of the Senate, and the Assembly and then the Governor’s got to sign that. We have a lobbyist for the Senate [Republicans], and we have a lobbyist for the Democrats and that’s how we try to push our agenda through,” Mr. Hutchings says in the video. 

Mr. Hutchings specifically mentions Tom McMahon, Tom Harnet, who he says “usually takes care of” the Democrats in the Assembly and Powers & Company, who “take care of the Senate.”

Mr. O’Keefe’s is best known for releasing videos targeting ACORN that resulted in organization losing federal funding. His partisan ambush attack films have been criticized by his attackers and in 2010 he was arrested and accused of trying to hack into the phone lines in the office of Democratic Louisiana Senator Mary Landrieu.

In this clip, which has been heavily edited and features the pop hit “Call Me Maybe,” Mr. O’Keefe and an accomplice painstakingly tell Mr. Hutchings their company does nothing but dig and re-fill ditches.

“You really have to dress up what we do, ’cause all we do is dig holes,” Mr. O’Keefe says.

He goes on to ask if Mr. Hutchings knows “political office holders in New York… who can help us find those–basically excuses to get public funds.”

Mr. Hutchings says New York’s two senators will give them a friendly reception.

“We’re good with Gillibrand and Schumer,” Mr. Hutchings says.

Mr. Tocci suggests his former Assembly “colleagues” Congressmen Jerry Nadler and Eliot Engel.

“It’s awful hard for anybody to vote against, like, a jobs bill right now,” says Mr. Hutchings.

According to Mr. Hutchings, Assembly Speaker Sheldon Silver won’t involved himself in picking the recipients of grants, but he does approve them.

“Shelly Silver wouldn’t say specifically, ‘Fill the dirt there.’ He would have to approve a grant to do that type of stuff, then we’d have to find places where to dig,” Mr. Hutchings says. “He doesn’t want to get involved in picking, that’s where they get into trouble.”

Mr. Hutchings is dismissive of the Green Jobs, Green New York program as well as the NYSERDA grant system, but thinks there’s a positive aspect as long as people are being hired.

“You know, the Green Jobs Green New York, between us, a lot of it’s bullshit,” Mr. Hutchings says. ”Even if it’s bullshit, I think as long as people are working that’s not bullshit.”

Today, Ryan Zinke, an ex-Navy SEAL and Montana State Senator, announced the launch of Special Operations for America, a political action committee dedicated to “the election of Mitt Romney and like-minded candidates.”

“Navy SEAL’s, Special Operations Personnel and Veteran’s across America have been outraged since Barack Obama conveniently took credit for killing Osama Bin Laden for political gain,” a statement announcing the launch of SOFA said. “The active duty military has no voice as they are forbidden to publicly engage in the political campaign process and it is career suicide for senior military leaders to speak out against the President.”

Mr. Zinke, who has frequently slammed the president’s handling of the raid that killed Osama bin Laden, reiterated his criticisms of the operation.

“The President has failed and he is jeopardizing the safety of our troops, their families and our National security for political gain. Obama has exposed the identity of special operations units, leaked classified information, and limited the rules of engagement of forces on the ground,” said Mr. Zinke. “For those who have taken an oath to defend the Constitution against all enemies, both foreign and domestic, it is a call of duty to take back America from a Commander-in-Chief that is incapable of understanding the sacrifices that have been made for the values that have made America great.”

Mr. Zinke has served in the Montana State Senate since 2009. According to Afghanistan and Iraq Veterans for Congress, a political action committee dedicated to electing Republican vets, Mr. Zinke was a member of SEAL Team Six, the elite unit that killed Bin Laden, from 1990 until 1993 and from 1996 until 1999. He held several titles including Task Force Commander. In 2004, In 2004, was named “Deputy and acting Commander, Combined Joint Special Operations Task Force-Arabian Peninsula in support of Operation IRAQI FREEDOM” in that capacity he “led a force of over 3500 Special Operations personnel in Iraq in the conduct of 360 combat patrols, 48 Direct Action missions, and hundreds of sensitive operations” and “was responsible for killing or capturing 72 known enemy insurgents and terrorists.”

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu on Wednesday said Iran is likely behind the attack on Israeli civilians in Bulgaria, and vowed a powerful Israeli response.

"All the signs lead to Iran. Only in the past few months we have seen Iranian attempts to attack Israelis in Thailand, India, Georgia, Kenya, Cyprus and other places," Netanyahu said in a statement.

An array of books is available on Islamic sites in the United States offering books for sale with titles such as “Commanders of the Muslim Army”. What is noteworthy about this tome is that the publisher is none other then Abdul Malik Mujahid, the newly elected chairman of the Council of Islamic organisations of Greater Chicago (CIOGC) which is regarded as a mainstream Muslim organisation, but is part of a large Chicago Wahabist network closely aligned with the Bridgeview mosque Foundation, whose spokemen include Rafiq Jaber, is the head of the Islamic Association of Palestine, and Oussama Jammal, who claimed that Muslims were not involved in the 9/11 attacks. Jamal runs a film company and closely linked to Mujahid’s Sound Vision which is a multi media Islamist propagation commercial enterprise.

Several Bridgeview Mosque Foundation members, including a the head of the Quranic Literacy Institute who claimed he was publishing religious texts, were recently convicted of terrorism funding in a case brought by the parents of American teenager David Boim, who had been gunned down at a bus stop by Hamas terrorists.

There are zero degrees of separation between The Council of Islamic Organisations of Greater Chicago, the Bridgeview Mosque Foundation and Hamas and Al Qaeda affiliated individuals and organistions.

Imam Mujahid also gives the example of “a Muslim physician who was ‘charged interest on a construction job because he inadvertently delayed payment of the bill for one month. He wrote to apologize for the delay and informed the authorities that Islam did not allow him to pay or receive interest on any transaction. Not only were interest charges removed, but an opportunity for Dawa came up’ – that is, Islamic proselytizing.”

Mujahid claims to be starting a new website and a major campaign for sharia law in the U.S.

The Israeli Foreign Ministry has confirmed a number of Israelis have been killed in an explosion on a bus carrying tourists in Bulgaria.

It is believed a suicide bomber boarded the bus outside the Sarafovo airport and immediately detonated his bomb. The Bulgarian Interior Ministy confirmed the explosion had been a terrorist attack.

Local media in the resort of Burgas claim the bus was packed with Israelis, possibly members of a young basketball team on their way to a training camp.

Reports suggest as many as seven people have been killed. At least 18 people have arrived at a local hospital to be treated for their injuries.

The explosion is thought to have occurred at around 6pm local time (4pm BST). A flight from Tel Aviv had arrived around one hour earlier.

The bus is believed to have been an airport shuttle carrying the holidaymakers. Around 40 people were thoguht to be on the bus.

Burgas is the second largest resort on the country's Black Sea coast. It is popular with Israeli tourists and is home to a Chabad centre. Israeli teens are known to flock to the resort for their summer holidays.

Israel has previously warned Bulgaria of the threat posed by Hizbollah.

In January a suspicious package was found on a bus carrying Israeli tourists from Turkey to Bulgaria, leading Israel to request additional security for its tourists travelling in the country, according to reports at the time in the Bulgarian press.

The Bulgaria attack coincides with the 18th anniversary of the fatal bombing of a Jewish community centre in Buenos Aires, Argentina, which killed 85 people and wounded hundreds.

Obama removes Religious Freedom Section from Its Human Rights reports ...

"State Department To Downplay Religious Oppression" Investors Daily

Rights: The U.S. government no longer includes religious freedom in its annual Human Rights Report. We won't embarrass anyone by pointing to burnt out churches abroad while suppressing religious liberty at home.

The declared reason for dropping the coverage is to avoid duplicating another document, the annual Report on International Religious Freedom. We suspect the reason is that an administration that's been apologetic about our leadership role in world affairs no longer wants to offend those nations who tolerate or even foster assaults on religious liberty, even as the administration suppresses it at home.

The Pew Research Center has produced two studies showing that 70% of the world's population lives in countries where religious freedom is severely restricted, either by governments or by hostile groups allowed to run amok by indifferent or hostile leaders.

Religious liberty was considered so important by our Founders that it was written into the First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution in a country populated by those fleeing the religious oppression of governments.

We considered religious liberty a bedrock of freedom and democracy and, as stated in our Declaration of Independence, we believed we were endowed with Unalienable rights by our Creator, not by men or governments.

The U.S. in recent years has grown increasingly indifferent to the lack of religious tolerance around the world as it has taken an increasingly violent turn.

Christians in places like Nigeria and Iraq, along with Coptic Christians in Egypt, have been subject to ruthless persecution by those for whom religious tolerance and freedom are a threat.

As 2011 began with a New Year's attack on an Egyptian Coptic Christian church that killed 21 worshippers, it ended with attacks on two Nigerian churches that killed 35 and injured at least 57.

While such attacks are officially condemned, they are part of a campaign of violence and suicide bombings for which 34% of Nigerian respondents in a Pew Global Attitudes Project poll expressed support.

Such violent attacks on Christian churches in Nigeria mirror the Oct. 31 attack on Our Lady of Salvation in Baghdad in which 68 people were murdered.

Rajha, a former army general, was the most senior Christian government official in Syria. "His death will resonate with Syria's minority Christian population, who make up about 10 percent of Syria's population and have generally stood by the regime. Christians say they are particularly vulnerable to the violence sweeping the country of 22 million people."

As I wrote yesterday, the crushing march of Islam continues to swallow up whole countries under the anti-freedom presidency of Barack Hussein Obama. I can say, without hesitation, that should Assad fall, the Alawite and Christian bloodbath will be unimaginable. Massive.  Monstrous. There are roughly just under 3 million Alawites in Syria, and 2 million Christians. Another Islamic genocide that will be scrubbed from the history books.

President Bashar al-Assad's brother-in-law and the Syrian defence minister have been killed in a bombing that struck at the heart of the country's security establishment.

State TV said President Assad's brother-in-law, Assef Shawkat, and Gen Dawoud Rajha, the defence minister were victims of a blast during a high level security meeting. The Interior minister was also injured.

Gen Shawkat was the deputy defense minister and was among the most feared figures in Assad's inner circle. He is married to Assad's elder sister, Bushra.

Reports said the officials had been killed by a bodyguard in a suicide bombing in the capital of Syria but other reports said a device was placed within the building. A "terrorist bomb" which exploded at a national security building in Damascus during a meeting of ministers and security officials wounded several people, some of them critically, state television said.

The state-run news agency SANA reported that Wednesday's blast took place at the National Security building, a headquarters for one of Syria's intelligence branches. Activists in Damascus said by telephone that Republican Guards sealed off the Shami hospital in the capital after ambulances had brought casualties from the site of the explosion.

"The terrorist suicide bombing" came in the high security Rawda district in the heart of the capital as battles raged in Damascus for the fourth consecutive day.

There were "badly wounded" among ministers and officials, the broadcaster said.

Gen Shawkat was the deputy Minister of Defense of Syria since September 2011. He previously served as the army’s deputy chief of staff from July 2009 to September 2011.

Gen Shawkat was considered one of the president’s top security chiefs, however, he was replaced in 2010 as head of Military Intelligence and made deputy chief-of-staff of the armed forces.

A claim of responsibility was posted on Facebook by Liwa al-Islam, a rebel group. Translated as "The Brigade of Islam", it said in a statement that it "targeted the cell called the crisis control room in the capital of Damascus."

The Free Syrian Army also claimed responsibility for the attack, according to spokesman Qassim Saadedine. "This is the volcano we talked about, we have just started," he said.

Syrian opposition leader Kamal al-Labwani told al-Arabiya, a satellite channel, that a member of the rebel Free Syrian Army planted a TNT and C-4-based device inside the building ahead of the meeting, and then detonate the bomb remotely before fleeing to safety.

Gen Hisham Ikhtiyar, head of National Security, were among those listed as wounded in the bombing, which came in the midst of an offensive launched by rebels to capture Damascus. There were conflicting reports about the fate of the Interior minister, Mohammed al-Shaar

The capital has seen four straight days of clashes pitting government troops against rebels - an unprecedented challenge to government rule in the tightly controlled capital.

Columns of black smoke rose over the capital, with the Local Coordination Committees, which organises anti-regime protests on the ground, reporting that Qaboon and Barzeh neighbourhoods were bombarded by loyalist forces.

It also said there was less traffic than normal in the city where fighting has raged since Sunday, with the rebels announcing a full-scale offensive dubbed "the Damascus volcano and earthquakes of Syria."

Regime forces and the FSA clashed in the Al-Midan and Zahira districts of Damascus as well as at Assali south of the city.

Fresh on the heels of the horrible news of last weekend’s slaughter of American troops comes this new and even more horrible news. Afghanistan’s President Hamid Karzai last week invited his great rival, Taliban leader Mullah Omar, to lay down his arms and … run for president of Afghanistan.

Imagine reading the following on Sept. 12, 2011. We would have stormed the Capitol.

“Mullah Mohammad Omar can come inside Afghanistan anywhere he wants to,” said Karzai.

Where does he think Omar is? Sheltered in Pakistan the way bin Laden was?

“He can open political office for himself but he should leave the gun,” Karzai also said. “He along with his friends can come and create his political party, do politics, become a candidate himself for the elections. If people voted for him, good for him, he can take the leadership in his hand.”

This is yet more of the poisonous fruit from Obama’s anti-freedom foreign policy (something I have exposed all the way through his presidency, and detailed in my book, “The Post-American Presidency,” back in 2009). We have come to a terrible end in Afghanistan. Allowing Mullah Omar to run for president in Afghanistan would be like allowing Hitler (had he been alive) to run for fuehrer after the war.

Mullah Omar has been wanted by the U.S. State Department since October 2001. There’s a $10 million reward on his head. He sheltered Osama bin Laden and al-Qaida killers in the years prior to the Sept. 11 attacks. He had a hand in the 9/11 attacks, and is still directing the Taliban’s ongoing war against the U.S.-led NATO forces and the government of Afghanistan.

Also last weekend, Obama declared that Afghanistan is a “major non-NATO ally.” The non-NATO ally declaration allows for streamlined defense cooperation, more money, expedited purchasing ability of American equipment and easier export control regulations.

And he has just committed to more jizya for the Taliban.

Just last month, Barack Hussein Obama used the NATO summit to press Afghan leader Hamid Karzai to engage with greater urgency with the Taliban about a political settlement in Afghanistan. Yes, the Karzai who has said, “If there is war between Pakistan and America, we will stand by Pakistan.”

Obama continues to stalk and chase these jihadist murderers. This is who Obama is chasing as a “peace partner.” They laugh at our clown-in-chief while slaughtering with impunity. They ridicule, scorn and mock his embarrassing advances. But still, he chases these bloodthirsty murderers. What an unprecedented embarrassment Obama is for this once great nation.

And now, to try to get them to come to the table, the Obama administration is considering releasing Taliban leaders with operational ties to al-Qaida from Gitmo, even as the devout Muslim group is set to retake control of Afghanistan after NATO forces withdraw. It is going to release them with the hope that they won’t return to jihad against the U.S. Just the hope.

The war criminals set for release are hardcore jihadist leaders who fought on the fields of Islamic imperialism and killed U.S. and coalition troops. These Muslim leaders will, without any doubt, return to the battlefield and serve to inspire and lead the next generation of Muslim soldiers bent on destroying and overthrowing the West. Why would the Obama administration release these mass murderers? For Taliban promises to engage in peace talks? Obama will get nothing in return. The Taliban knows we are leaving Afghanistan; why come to the table?

American soldiers are operating under impossible rules of engagement. This is epidemic, and that’s just what we know about. Obama’s Department of Defense is not reporting Afghan attacks on American troops unless they result in dead U.S. soldiers. Under the Obama regime, deaths have spiked month over month, year over year. Why did Obama send all of our soldiers over to Afghanistan these last three years under impossible rules of engagement to suffer the largest casualty rates month to month, year to year, and then declare suddenly that the Taliban is not the enemy? To get re-elected?

Meanwhile, Obama has sanctioned and supported the evil axis, the rise of the Islamic supremacist revolution in Egypt and all across North Africa. His actions in support of the “Arab Spring” mirrors his actions in Afghanistan. Karzai’s invitation to Omar mirrors the vow of Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood President Morsi to work for the release of the Blind Sheikh, the murderous mastermind of the 1993 World Trade Center bombing and author of the fatwa ordering the murder of Anwar Sadat for making peace with Israel.
