While choking on their own hate, the collective negation of humanity ignores mass genocide, and instead advances Islamic Jew-hatred. The international community should be excoriating Islamic genocide, ethnic cleansing, subjugation, and oppression, instead of blaming the victims of these savages.
"Syria civil war death toll reaches 60,000, UN says" CBC January 2 2013
The United Nations estimated Wednesday that more than 60,000 people
have been killed in Syria's civil war, a toll one-third higher than what
anti-regime activists had counted in the 21-month-old conflict.
The UN human rights chief called the toll "truly shocking."
Activists opposed to the regime of President Bashar al-Assad had been
estimating the death toll at more than 45,000. This was the first time
that the UN estimate surpassed those of activist groups.
'The failure of the international community... to take concrete actions to stop the blood-letting shames us all.'— UN human rights chief Navi Pillay
"Given
there has been no letup in the conflict since the end of November, we
can assume that more than 60,000 people have been killed by the
beginning of 2013," UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Navi Pillay
said in a statement. "The number of casualties is much higher than we
expected, and is truly shocking," she added.
"The failure of the international community, in particular the
Security Council, to take concrete actions to stop the blood-letting,
shames us all," Pillay said. "Collectively, we have fiddled at the edges
while Syria burns."
Death toll likely greater
An
airstrike on a gas station in a Damascus suburb on Wednesday pushed that
death toll even higher. Activists said a Syrian warplane blasted the
station, killing and wounding dozens of people and igniting a huge fire
in what may be one of the bloodiest attacks in weeks.
The new UN analysis also said monthly casualty figures have been steadily increasing since the conflict began in March 2011.

Independent
experts compared 147,349 killings reported by seven different sources —
including the government — for the study, which was commissioned by the
UN human rights office.
By removing duplicates they arrived at a list of 59,648 individuals
killed between the start of the uprising on March 15, 2011, and Nov. 30,
2012. In each case, the victim's first and last name, the date and the
location of his or her death were known.
The real death toll is likely to be even greater because reports
containing incomplete information were excluded and a significant number
of killings may not have been documented at all by the sources
available.
Full circle and out of the proverbial closet. The left goes full-on jihad. Al Jazeera has acquired Current TV. More jihadist propaganda on your cable dial. Lord knows that there is a plethora of Muslim Brotherhood mouthpieces on broadband, but a dearth of pro-freedom voices (i.e. SUN TV).
Al Jazeera is the leading terrorist propaganda organization in
the world. Jihad murder mastermind Anwar al-Awlaki has praised Al
Jazeera, and several years ago one of its most prominent reporters was
arrested on terror charges. Al Jazeera also has for years been the
recipient of numerous Al Qaeda videos featuring bin Laden, Zawahiri, and
American traitor Adam Gadahn. Yet they never seem to be able to trace
where these videos are coming from. They have repeatedly been set up at
the point of attack right before a bomb went off, so that they could
take the picture of the slaughtered, dismembered bodies.
The dhimmi NY TImes call the acquisition "a coming-of-age
moment" for Al Jazeera. Let's hope Mr. Stelter didn't wet his pants. It seems that the NY Times was bidding on Current as well, but clearly could not compete with the fat wallets of the jihadists:
For Al Jazeera, the acquisition is a coming-of-age
moment. A decade ago, the Arabic-language channel was reviled by
American politicians for showing video tapes and messages from al Qaeda
members and sympathizers. Now it is acquiring an American channel.
We have been fighting this vile Muslim Brotherhood propaganda on our airwaves for years now. A few months back I joined forces with Cliff Kincaid of AIM,
along with human rights activists and advocates for journalistic
integrity, to protest the expansion of Al-Jazeera, terror TV, in the
United States. I wrote about it here at The Daily Caller.
The Al Jizz jihadists have have performed an end run:
To
date, the country’s cable and satellite distributors have been
reluctant to carry Al Jazeera English. It is available in just a handful
of cities, including New York and Washington. To change that, Al
Jazeera has lobbied distributors, called for a letter-writing campaign
by supporters and promoted its widely praised coverage of the Arab
Spring.
Acquiring Current TV, and thus its distribution deals
across the country, solves this dilemma for Al Jazeera, at least
partially.
Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld called
the broadcaster’s reporting "vicious, inaccurate and inexcusable" and
President George W. Bush joked about bombing it, and senior Bush
officials caricatured the channel as an anti-Semitic, anti-American
outlet for Islamo-porn. And here we are eleven years after the largest and
bloodiest Islamic attack on America and Al Jizz is buying Gore TV. This is a major step in the network’s goal of
expanding jihad propaganda further into the U.S. cable market and gives
it a chance to brainwash millions of Americans.
How much did those traitors sell us out for? Al Jazeera is a security threat to America. Demand investigative hearings.
"Al Jazeera Acquires Current TV" NY Times, Brian Stelter (thanks to Armaros)
Al
Jazeera on Wednesday completed a deal to take over Current TV, the
low-rated cable channel that was founded by Al Gore and his business
partners seven years ago.
Current will provide the pan-Arab news
giant with something it has sought for years: a pathway into American
living rooms. Current is available in about 60 million of the 100
million homes in the United States with cable or satellite service.
Rather
than simply use Current to distribute its English-language channel,
called Al Jazeera English and based in Doha, Qatar, Al Jazeera will
create a new channel, called Al Jazeera America, based in New York.
Roughly 60 percent of the programming will be produced in the United
States, while the remaining 40 percent will come from Al Jazeera
English.
Al Jazeera may absorb some Current TV staff members,
according to people with knowledge of the deal who insisted on anonymity
because they were not authorized to speak publicly. But Current’s
schedule of shows will most likely be dissolved in the spring.
“Al
Jazeera is planning to invest significantly in building ‘Al Jazeera
America,’ a network focused on international news for the American
audience,” the Current chief executive Joel Hyatt said in an e-mail to
staffers on Wednesday evening. Referring to Mr. Gore, he said, “Al and I
will both serve on the advisory board of Al Jazeera America, and we
look forward to helping build an important news network.”
The
plan will bring Al Jazeera, which is financed by the government of
Qatar, into closer competition with CNN and other news channels in the
United States.
For Al Jazeera, the acquisition is a coming-of-age
moment. A decade ago, the Arabic-language channel was reviled by
American politicians for showing video tapes and messages from al Qaeda
members and sympathizers. Now it is acquiring an American channel.
“They
really want to be able to compete for American viewers, and they have
to find some way to get on,” said Philip Seib, the director of the
center on public diplomacy at the University of Southern California and
the author of “The Al Jazeera Effect.”
Mr. Seib said access to
Americans is important both for economic reasons, for the channel’s
advertisers, and for “the journalistic legitimacy of their venture.”
To
date, the country’s cable and satellite distributors have been
reluctant to carry Al Jazeera English. It is available in just a handful
of cities, including New York and Washington. To change that, Al
Jazeera has lobbied distributors, called for a letter-writing campaign
by supporters and promoted its widely praised coverage of the Arab
Spring.
Acquiring Current TV, and thus its distribution deals
across the country, solves this dilemma for Al Jazeera, at least
partially.
Current is hard to find on many cable lineups, and some
analysts say it’s at risk of being dropped by some companies because of
low ratings, but it would give Al Jazeera a foothold on the country’s
cable and satellite service lineups. Then Al Jazeera could revamp the
channel and promote it as a new American-based news source.
Representatives
for Current TV and Al Jazeera did not immediately respond to requests
for comment. There was no immediate word about the sale price.
Current
was conceived in 2005 after Mr. Gore and another co-founder, Joel
Hyatt, bought the small cable news channel Newsworld International.
Current’s owners, along with Mr. Gore and Mr. Hyatt, include several
venture capital firms and two major distributors, Comcast and DirecTV.
After
several years in obscurity showing viewer-submitted videos and
documentaries, Current tacked to the left in 2011 with the hiring of
MSNBC’s Keith Olbermann. A year later, Mr. Olbermann was fired, but a
liberal minded channel made in his image remained. The channel now
simulcasts liberal radio shows in the morning and features news-talk
shows in the evening by Joy Behar, Eliot Spitzer, Jennifer Granholm and
others.
None of the shows have drawn significant audiences. On a
typical night in 2012, about 42,000 people were watching the channel,
according to Nielsen. Mr. Spitzer quipped to a reporter from Mediabistro last month, “Nobody’s watching, but I’m having a great time.”
At the end of October, Current confirmed
that it was considering selling itself. Mr. Hyatt said in a statement
at the time, “Current has been approached many times by media companies
interested in acquiring our company. This year alone, we have had three
inquiries. As a consequence, we thought it might be useful to engage
expertise to help us evaluate our strategic options.”
The New York Times Company mulled a bid for the channel, but decided not to do so.
In
recent months, uncertainty has plagued the staff of Current, which is
based in San Francisco. Mr. Spitzer, the 8 p.m. host, remarked that
someone needed to buy the channel. Ms. Granholm, the 9 p.m. host,
renewed her contract for just three months. Plans for new programming at
other hours have stalled. After the elementary school massacre in
Newtown, Conn., the channel replayed the gun documentary “Bowling for
Columbine” dozens of times.
Current’s programming will continue
for about three months. Then an international feed of Al Jazeera English
will be simulcast on the channel. Sometime later in 2013, the rebranded
Al Jazeera news channel, with 60 percent American programming, will
start.
Al Jazeera intends to open new bureaus across the United
States to support the American programming. The news operation currently
has bureaus in New York, Washington, Los Angeles, Miami, and Chicago.
Cue the whining murderers and savages. Time to do their daily wail, whaaaaa "islamophobia" and ululating mythical Muslim victimhood lies while they beat, slaughter, oppress, subjugate...
Arabs Beat Yeshiva Student Unconscious in Venice Attack Algemeiner, Janaury 2, 2013
A group of Arabs brutally attacked an American yeshiva student
visiting with his family in Venice, Italy, on Tuesday, knocking him
unconscious. The incident took place at night as the student strolled
the city center. According to Arutz Sheva, 15 Arab youth were involved in the incident.
According to Arutz Sheva the attackers fled when a passerby spotted them and called police and medics.
An individual at the Chabad House in Venice who did not wish to be
named told The Algemeiner that the student was recovering and that such
incidents were rare in Venice. The source also indicated how the Jewish
community would respond. “We will answer evil with kindness,” the source
said.
The Milan-based Jewish Center for Documentation’s Observatory on
Anti-Jewish Prejudice issued a report in December that showed the number
of anti-Semitic episodes in the country rose significantly in 2012.
”We observed approximately 70 cases so far this year, most of them
graffiti and online attacks, over 40% more than last year,” said
Observatory researcher Stefano Gatti. ”The boom might be due partly to
more efficient data-gathering, but the episodes have undeniably
increased,” he added.
Gatti pointed out that Italian pundits and politicians ”such as
Silvio Berlusconi, Beppe Grillo or Piergiorgio Odifreddi” are now
writing discriminatory posts and telling racist jokes. ”Making certain
issues seem normal, even funny, is one of the root causes of the rise in
anti-Semitic episodes in Italy,” Gatti concluded .
Calling out Al Jazeera, the mother ship of this century's Goebbels-style propaganda machine. Robert Spencer nails it:
Note al-Jazeera's caption
Al-Jazeera has been dubbed "the most powerful voice of the Muslim Brotherhood." And Pamela Geller has noted
that "Al Jazeera is the leading terrorist propaganda organization in
They have repeatedly been set up at
the point of attack right before a bomb went off, so that they could
take the picture of the slaughtered, dismembered bodies."
So it is no surprise that al-Jazeera would be joining Muslim Brotherhood-linked propagandist Wajahat Ali and pseudo-academic analyst of "Islamophobia" Haroon Moghul
in trying in the most cynical fashion to exploit the murder of a Hindu
by an insane woman to defame counter-jihadists by blaming it on us.
The December 31 al-Jazeera piece, "Anti-Muslim violence spiralling out of control in America,"
by Canadian "journalist" Murtaza Hussain, repeats the usual libels,
distortions, and fictions that I've answered many, many times before
(including the claim that "anti-Muslim violence is spiralling out of
control in America" -- all that and more answered, rather
comprehensively, here just a couple of days ago), and so I won't try your patience by repeating all the rebuttals.
What is noteworthy about the al-Jazeera piece is its bellowing,
spitting, vein-popping hysteria, and its level of mendacity so high as
to make Ali and Moghul look like sober truth-tellers. Start with the
photo and caption above: "Egyptian-American activist Mona Eltahawy was
arrested for attempting to cover an anti-Muslim ad in the subway." This
suggests that Mona Eltahawy was not arrested for vandalism, which was
actually the case, but for opposing an "Islamophobic" message -- as if
America were so "Islamophobic" that rogue cops roam the streets (and
subways) terrorizing anyone who dares to interfere with the omnipresent
propagation of "hate."
And this "journalist," Murtaza Hussain, is right across the border in
Toronto. In other words, he knows better, but he also knows the kind of
raw red meat of America-hatred and lurid Muslim victimhood fantasy that
al-Jazeera readers want.
Then in the article there is this:
...Leading figures in this movement such as Pamela Geller
and Robert Spencer have led a crusade to vilify Muslims throughout the
country and to exclude them from public life through campaigns of smears
and hate-mongering which have cast Muslim-Americans as an insidious
fifth column within the country....
Once again we see the peculiar practice of Islamic supremacists and
Letists, of claiming that our anti-jihad ads "vilify Muslims." Most of
the time they insist that the vast majority of Muslims abhor and oppose
jihad terror, but when anyone speaks out against it, he's "vilifying
Muslims."
Then comes the wholly fictitious claim that Geller and I want to
"exclude [Muslims] from public life." And this clown has the chutzpah to
complain about "smears and hate-mongering." Look in the mirror, Murtaza
-- after you clear away the spittle you'll see a genuine smear merchant
and hatemonger.
Obama's new Egypt -- the one he midwifed. I'd like to know why the President of the United States has not made one public condemnation of this annihilationist rhetoric. This is hardly the first -- it is repeated almost daily. But the flapping tongue in the White House has nothing to say on it. Silence is sanction.
Here's a round-up of the promised genocide of Christians and Jews by supremacist Muslims.

Here again is the lethal legacy of Obama's foreign policy, the catastrophic consequences of which the American people are still painfully unaware, thanks to an enemedia whose sole goal is to prop up and whitewash Obama's failed presidency.
Under Obama we have lost regions, countries -- whole swaths of Africa and the Middle East to Islamic rule.
"Al-Qaida carves out own country, prepare for global jihad" AP, December 31, 2012
Mali » Islamic fighters dig bunkers, train and stock weapons as they prepare for global jihad.
The Associated Press
Mopti, Mali • Deep inside caves, in
remote desert bases, in the escarpments and cliff faces of northern
Mali, Islamic fighters are burrowing into the earth, erecting a
formidable set of defenses to protect what has essentially become
al-Qaida’s new country.
They have used the bulldozers, earth movers
and Caterpillar machines left behind by fleeing construction crews to
dig what residents and local officials describe as an elaborate network
of tunnels, trenches, shafts and ramparts. In just one case, inside a
cave large enough to drive trucks into, they have stored up to 100 drums
of gasoline, guaranteeing their fuel supply in the face of a foreign
intervention, according to experts.
"Al-Qaida never owned Afghanistan," said former
United Nations diplomat Robert Fowler, a Canadian kidnapped and held
for 130 days by al-Qaida’s local chapter, whose fighters now control the
main cities in the north. "They do own northern Mali."
Al-Qaida’s affiliate in Africa has been a
shadowy presence for years in the forests and deserts of Mali, a country
hobbled by poverty and a relentless cycle of hunger. In recent months,
the terror syndicate and its allies have taken advantage of political
instability within the country to push out of their hiding place and
into the towns, taking over an enormous territory which they are using
to stock arms, train forces and prepare for global jihad.
The catalyst for the Islamic fighters was a
military coup nine months ago that transformed Mali from a once-stable
nation to the failed state it is today. On March 21, disgruntled
soldiers invaded the presidential palace. The fall of the nation’s
democratically elected government at the hands of junior officers
destroyed the military’s command-and-control structure, creating the
vacuum which allowed a mix of rebel groups to move in.
With no clear instructions from their
higher-ups, the humiliated soldiers left to defend those towns tore off
their uniforms, piled into trucks and beat a retreat as far as Mopti,
roughly in the center of Mali. They abandoned everything north of this
town to the advancing rebels, handing them an area that stretches over
more than 240,000 square miles. It’s a territory larger than Texas or
France — and it’s almost exactly the size of Afghanistan.
Turbaned fighters now control all the major
towns in the north, carrying out amputations in public squares like the
Taliban did. Just as in Afghanistan, they are flogging women for not
covering up. Since taking control of Timbuktu, they have destroyed seven
of the 16 mausoleums listed as world heritage sites.
The area under their rule is mostly desert and
sparsely populated, but analysts say that due to its size and the
hostile nature of the terrain, rooting out the extremists here could
prove even more difficult than it did in Afghanistan. Mali’s former
president has acknowledged, diplomatic cables show, that the country
cannot patrol a frontier twice the length of the border between the
United States and Mexico.
Al-Qaida in the Islamic Maghreb, known as AQIM,
operates not just in Mali, but in a corridor along much of the northern
Sahel. This 4,300-mile-long ribbon of land runs across the widest part
of Africa, and includes sections of Mauritania, Niger, Algeria, Libya,
Burkina Faso and Chad.
"One could come up with a conceivable
containment strategy for the Swat Valley," said Africa expert Peter
Pham, an adviser to the U.S. military’s African command center,
referring to the region of Pakistan where the Pakistan Taliban have been
based. "There’s no containment strategy for the Sahel, which runs from
the Atlantic Ocean to the Red Sea."
Earlier this year, the 15 nations in West
Africa, including Mali, agreed on a proposal for the military to take
back the north, and sought backing from the United Nations. Earlier this
month, the Security Council authorized the intervention but imposed
certain conditions, including training Mali’s military, which is accused
of serious human rights abuses since the coup. Diplomats say the
intervention will likely not happen before September of 2013.
In the meantime, the Islamists are getting
ready, according to elected officials and residents in Kidal, Timbuktu
and Gao, including a day laborer hired by al-Qaida’s local chapter to
clear rocks and debris for one of their defenses. They spoke on
condition of anonymity out of fear for their safety at the hands of the
Islamists, who have previously accused those who speak to reporters of
espionage.
The al-Qaida affiliate, which became part of
the terror network in 2006, is one of three Islamist groups in northern
Mali. The others are the Movement for the Unity and Jihad in West
Africa, or MUJAO, based in Gao, and Ansar Dine, based in Kidal. Analysts
agree that there is considerable overlap between the groups, and that
all three can be considered sympathizers, even extensions, of al-Qaida.
The Islamic fighters have stolen equipment from
construction companies, including more than $11 million worth from a
French company called SOGEA-SATOM, according to Elie Arama, who works
with the European Development Fund. The company had been contracted to
build a European Union-financed highway in the north between Timbuktu
and the village of Goma Coura. An employee of SOGEA-SATOM in Bamako
declined to comment.
The official from Kidal said his constituents
have reported seeing Islamic fighters with construction equipment riding
in convoys behind 4-by-4 trucks draped with their signature black flag.
His contacts among the fighters, including friends from secondary
school, have told him they have created two bases, around 120 and 180
miles north of Kidal, in the austere, rocky desert.
The first base is occupied by al-Qaida’s local
fighters in the hills of Teghergharte, a region the official compared to
Afghanistan’s Tora Bora.
He honor murdered her whole family, so why visit him? For the same reason Muslim mothers hold down their own daughters for female genital mutilation. It's their religion, culture, and way of life.
How can those victimized by such an evil system break the chains when the world and the leader of the free world insists we "respect it"?
Why did she go visit him at all, after he had murdered
her mother, brother and sister? Anyway, here is yet another Islamic
honor killing.
Muslims commit 91 percent of honor killings worldwide.
A manual of Islamic law certified as a reliable guide to Sunni
orthodoxy by Al-Azhar University, the most respected authority in Sunni
Islam, says that "retaliation is obligatory against anyone who kills a
human being purely intentionally and without right." However, "not
subject to retaliation" is "a father or mother (or their fathers or
mothers) for killing their offspring, or offspring's offspring." ('Umdat al-Salik o1.1-2). In other words, someone who kills his child incurs no legal penalty under Islamic law.
The Palestinian Authority gives pardons or suspended sentences for honor murders. Iraqi women have asked for tougher sentences for Islamic honor murderers, who get off lightly now. Syria in 2009 scrapped a law
limiting the length of sentences for honor killings, but "the new law
says a man can still benefit from extenuating circumstances in crimes of
passion or honour 'provided he serves a prison term of no less than two
years in the case of killing.'" And in 2003 the Jordanian Parliament
voted down on Islamic grounds a provision designed to stiffen penalties
for honor killings. Al-Jazeera reported that "Islamists and conservatives said the laws violated religious traditions and would destroy families and values."
In light of all this, until authorities get the courage to tell the
truth about honor killing, there will be many more such murders.
"Afghan inmate kills wife during prison visit," from AFP, January 2 (thanks to Lookmann):
AFP - An Afghan prisoner murdered his wife when she went to
visit him, allegedly because she had been unfaithful after he was jailed
for killing her relatives, police said.
Din Mohammad was sentenced to 20 years in prison two years ago for
killing his mother-in-law, and his wife's brother and sister in the
northern province of Samangan.
Mohammad's wife, whose name has not been disclosed, visited him in
jail in the provincial capital Aybak on Monday and was found dead in a
small private room used for inmates to see their wives, police said.
Mohammad confessed to her murder, Samangan police chief Ikram Nikzad told AFP.
"Mohammad was told by his mother that his wife had affairs," he said, citing a police investigation.
"When she came to visit him in jail he strangled her with her veil
and killed her. They were meeting in a private prison room," he said.
Mohammad's mother has been detained for questioning, Nikzad added.
According to a UN report last month, Afghanistan has made progress in
protecting women against violence, but many still suffer horrific abuse
11 years after a US-led invasion brought down the Taliban regime.
Afghan women still endure killings by relatives in the name of family honour, forced marriages and domestic abuses....
