This would be comical if it weren't so monstrous. Jihadis yelling at Obama, 'it's jihad, stupid!' Imagine, this is the President of the United States, eight years after 911 with his head planted firmly in his favorite place. Quite deliberately, I assure you.
The vicitms of the Fort Hood jihadi deserve benefits and combat honors. Obama is a disgrace and a traitor.
WND EXCLUSIVE
Fort Hood shooter blasts Obama admin story
'I was defending Taliban' in attack Washington called 'workplace violence'
For years, the Obama administration has maintained that the victims
of the 2009 shooting at Fort Hood, for which Islamist Maj. Hidal Hasan
is charged, simply were in the crosshairs of a situation of “workplace
violence.”
The victims – 13 people were killed and nearly another three dozen
were injured when, according to witnesses, Hasan shouted “Allahu Akbar”
and started firing at people – have been denied benefits and combat
honors because the government insisted there was no link to terror.
Now, however, the defendant himself is taking that off the table.
As part of his defense, he has demanded to represent himself in his
still-unscheduled trial, and this week asked for a delay of several
months so that he could prepare his defense which will be built on the
idea he did the shootings “in defense of others.”
When asked by the judge, Col. Tara Osborn,
to identify those he was “protecting,” Hasan said, “The leadership of
the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, the Taliban” and its leader, Mullah
Omar.
Hasan, an Army psychiatrist at Fort Hood, is accused of walking into
the Soldier Readiness Center on the base Nov. 5, 2009, and opening fire
on his fellow soldiers.
The attack didn’t stop until Hasan himself was shot and paralyzed.
A survivor reported Hasan shouted “Allahu Akbar,” or “Allah is
greatest,” a phrase commonly uttered by jihadists prior to carrying out
an attack. The Fort Hood attack was the worst shooting on an American
military base.

can we defend America against Islamic supremacist encroachment? Get
your autographed copy of Pamela Geller’s “Stop the Islamization of
America.”
Hasan had been on federal officials’ radar screen for at least six
months prior to the shooting over postings he made on the Internet. He
likened a suicide bomber who kills women and children to a soldier who
throws himself on a grenade to give his life in a “noble cause.”
Intelligence officials also intercepted at least 18 emails between
Hasan and the radical American-born cleric Anwar al-Awlaki. Hasan told
al-Awlaki in one of the emails, “I can’t wait to join you” in paradise.
He also asked al-Awlaki whether it was appropriate to kill innocents in a
suicide attack, when jihad was acceptable and how to transfer funds
without attracting government notice.
In spite of this, Attorney General Eric Holder declined to press
terrorism charges against Hasan. Instead the government has labeled the
shooting as a case of “workplace violence.” During a memorial service
for the victims, President Obama never once used the word terrorism.
The designation has prevented survivors and the victim’s families
from receiving Purple Hearts and being able to obtain combat-related
special compensation.

Erdogan’s Police May Be Using Chemical CR Gas on Protesters (Video) Tzvi Ben-Gedalyahu, The Jewish Press (hat tip Sara)
Turkey is burning. Nine days of riots. Three dead. Erdogan’s police
arrest society’s enemy – Twitters. Now, a Turkish doctor charges police
are using Condoleezza Rice gas, a chemical agent.
Turkish expert in forensic medicine says patients she has treated for
'tear gas' show signs of having been exposed to the chemical agent CR
gas,
A Turkish doctor has charged that her patients who have suffered
from tear gas fired by police show signs associated with CR gas,
classified by the U.S. Army as a combat class chemical weapon that can
cause serious side effects and can be lethal.
CR gas was developed the British and was used in Northern Ireland and
is used in riot control today in Egypt and Israel, but its use in
Turkey was not documented until Wednesday. The use may be legal, but if
it is being deployed, the Erdogan government has kept it under wraps and
prevented people from knowing.
Police sprayed gas, either the usual CS tear gas or CR gas, on
protesters Wednesday as the riots continued after nine days, and the
death toll has climbed to three.
The government had instructed police to use restraint, but police
violence was seen in Ankara where unions called for a solidarity strike
in sympathy with Gezi Park demonstrations.
Police also used water cannons to disperse demonstrators, and among
those arrested were the Ankara bureau chief for a television channel and
a cameraman.
Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, following the pattern of
Hosni Mubarak and Basher al-Assad, among others, has called protesters
“terrorists” and has placed the blamed for the riots primarily on users
of social networks. His police arrested 25 people early Wednesday for
the high crime of tweeting “misinformation.”
“This is a protest organized by extremist elements,” Erdogan said Monday a press conference.
“Have they already banned freedom of opinion and I have not heard
about it?” tweeted one user, (at)CRustemov, as the news spread. “What on
earth does it mean to get detained over Twitter!”
Thousands of people have been detained since the beginning of the protests, but most of them have been freed.
“We will not give away anything to those who live arm-in-arm with terrorism.”
Hopes by Erdogan that the violence would end, after his deputy prime
minister Bulent Arinc apologized for police violence on Tuesday, have
evaporated.
No one expects Turkey to follow Middle East countries that have seen
revolutions topple their rulers following Arab Spring demonstrations,
but Erdogan has been acting like the deposed rulers.
“He’s not been behaving rationally at all,” Gareth Jenkins, an
Istanbul-based researcher with the Silk Road Studies Program at John
Hopkins University, told US Today Wednesday. “He appears to be
becoming almost delusional and refusing to accept the reality that these
protests are mainly spontaneous and are being organized by small groups
of people who’ve never engaged in politics before.”

Where are the imbecilic tools over at The DoJ? Exhausted from polishing CAIR knobs all day and all night? While real hatred and abuse against Jews is at worldwide record levels, Holder's huns are working themselves into a frenzy spinning a Muslim myth narrative.
Despite US attorney Bill Killian's best efforts to deceive and misinform us last night, we know that among religious hate crimes, the most by far
are against Jews.
Report: Jewish Girls Attacked, Called ‘Dirty Jews’ in Crown Heights, Brooklyn (VIDEO) Algemeiner
Young Jewish girls in Brooklyn, NY were assaulted and had glass
bottles thrown at them in two separate incidents as they were walking
home from school. In one of the attacks the assailants – two teenage
girls – called the victim a ‘dirty Jew,’ local blog CrownHeights.info reported Tuesday.
In the first incident three assailants – one White and two Black
teens – accosted two 10-year-olds, first by throwing a glass bottle at
them, then by grabbing one of the girls by the neck.
In the second incident the two assailants – the same two Black girls
from the first attack – threw yet another glass bottle at two
12-year-old Jewish girls.
The bottle hit one of the girls in her knee. CrownHeights.info
writes: “One of the attackers then pounced on the victim, grabbing her
in a choke hold and began shouting expletives laced with racial
diatribe. ‘You dirty Jew’ and ‘get the … out of Crown Heights…’”
The victim managed to break free of the choke hold but was punched in
the back as she fled, causing bruising and swelling which required
medical attention, according to the report.
A source in the police department told CrownHeights.info that they
are taking this incident very seriously and have referred it to the
Hate Crimes Task Force for investigation as a possible hate crime. The
latter division of the NYPD could not immediately be reached by The
Algemeiner for comment.
It took a federal judge to give this child a chance at life. Obama wouldn't do it -- imagine: he changes the rules daily for his own sick agenda, but for a sick kid? Nah.

Must I go on? Obama's U.S. health secretary has turned down appeals to overrule a federal regulation that could save the life of a 10-year girl who desperately needs a lung transplant or faces dying in the next three to five weeks.
Politico: A federal judge has ordered
Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius to allow Sarah
Murnaghan, a 10-year-old in Pennsylvania dying of cystic fibrosis, to
be moved to the adult lung transplant list. Normally the federal policy
prevents children under age 12 from receiving donated adult lungs, but
Sebelius has been under pressure to make an exception.
The
parents of the girl asked the judge on Wednesday to order Sebelius to
change organ donation rules so that the dying child has a better chance
of receiving new lungs. They say she is running out of time.
"They say." Only in left-wing media publications would they say that. She is running out of time. Doctors say Sarah Murnaghan, 10, will die in three to five weeks unless she gets a lung transplant.
Daily Mail has this: Sarah has been hospitalized at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia for three months with end-stage cystic fibrosis and is on a ventilator. Her family wants all children younger than 12 to be eligible for adult lungs because so few pediatric lungs are available.
Under current policy, only patients 12 and over can join the list. But Sarah's transplant doctors say she is medically eligible for an adult lung
Once again new media provides an alternative to the relentless leftwing bias of the traditional media outlets. It's only a matter of time .... until then, we press on. Excellent article over at BizPac Review on last night's free speech demo:
Protesters swarm DOJ’s ‘condescending’ lecture on Muslim hate speech" Janeen Capizola, BizPac Review, June 5, 2013
First Amendment loving, free speech
supporting patriots turned out en masse in small town Manchester, Tenn.
Tuesday night to protest the upcoming DOJ stance that Muslim bashing on
social media may lead to federal civil rights charges.
Conservative activist Pamela Geller was among the 600-800 protesters
who filled the conference room, according to Bill Hobbs who live tweeted
from the event.
The American Muslim Advisory Council of Tennessee sponsored the
event, called “Public Disclosure in a Diverse Society,” which featured
the top two U.S. Department of Justice officials in the state, the U.S.
Attorney for the Eastern District of Tennessee, Bill Killian, and the
special agent in charge of the state’s FBI office, Kenneth Moore.
The American Muslim Advisory Council of Tennessee sponsored the

the top two U.S. Department of Justice officials in the state, the U.S.

The DOJ officials discussed the fact that not all American Muslims
are terrorists and those who trash Muslims on social media may be
violating civil rights. You can read more here from BizPac Review’s, “DOJ warns Muslim bashing on social media may be federal offense.”
Geller took to her blog “Atlas Shrugs” to counter the typical liberal media spin on what took place at the event.
According to Geller, who helped organize the protest that had hundreds more people outside the building:
U.S. Attorney Bill Killian gave a power point
presentation on hate crimes and hate speech. From beginning to end it
was full of condescension, smears, charges that the crowd was racist,
and thinly-veiled threats that truthful speech about Islam could be
prosecuted. Never once did he address the fact that people aren’t
concerned about Muslims because of racism and xenophobia, but because of
the reality of jihad terror and the uniform denial and obfuscation, and
victimhood posturing, that follows from Muslim communities after every
jihad attack. Killian even stooped so low as to claim a sharp rise in
“religiously-motivated hate crimes,” without ever informing the crowd
that he was lumping in anti-Semitic hate crimes (which are at worldwide
record levels, largely due to Islamic antisemitism) with anti-Muslim
hate crimes. FBI special agent Kenneth Moore was little better. Both
echoed the Islamic supremacist speaker’s opening remarks, all about how
the people of Tennessee had to learn to be welcoming of people who were
different.
The crowd was having none of it, shouting “Boston!” “Free Speech!”
and other responses after they would say something entirely ridiculous. A
couple of people in the crowd got up and called out to the patriots to
be quiet and let the speakers speak, and to be respectful, but the crowd
was being just as respectful to Killian, Moore and Co. as the speakers
were to them. It was good to see their condescending anti-freedom
propaganda challenged. The speakers were only accepting questions
written on cards, and people knew it was a horse and pony show. We are
not going to go quietly into the night, or remain silent when we are
lied to. This is just the beginning. We will not go away, we will not be
silenced, and we will never stop fighting.

Hamas-CAIR is praising its tools at the Department of Justice for pursuing a sharia agenda to restrict free speech and criminalize criticism Islam.
Hamas-CAIR calls the close to 2,000 freedom lovers an "anti-Muslim mob." We are anti-oppression. We are anti-statism. We are anti-totalitarianism. We are anti-sharia. Does that make us anti-Muslim? Of course not. As far as calling us a mob, that is funny. Pot, meet kettle.
The
Council on American-Islamic Relations (“CAIR”) is a terrorist
organization operating as a front group for Hamas and its affiliated
organizations. CAIR was begun as a Hamas
front group to carry out the Muslim Brotherhood’s anti-American agenda.
Much, but not all of this evidence, was documented in United States v. Holy Land Foundation for Relief and Development et al., 3:04-cr-00240-P (N.D. Texas) (“HLF”).
The evidence shows that CAIR is a criminal terrorist organization.
This conclusion is shared by the United States government. CAIR was named an unindicted
co-conspirator in a massive conspiracy to fundraise for, and otherwise
pursue, the terrorist agenda of the Muslim Brotherhood and the Palestine
Committee, a public relations and fund raising arm of Hamas in the
United States.[ Specifically, CAIR was named as one of the organizations formed by the
defendants and co-conspirators to create the appearance of legality in
the effort to raise funds and public support for Hamas and its jihad
abroad. As the evidence in the HLF trial demonstrated, these
plans were part of a Philadelphia planning meeting carried out by
Muslim Brotherhood and Hamas operatives, a meeting which the FBI
secretly recorded pursuant to a lawful court order, the entire
transcript of which was introduced into the record at the HLF trial. Two of the key participants at this Muslim Brotherhood-Hamas planning meeting were Omar Ahmad and Nihad Awad. Ahmad co-founded CAIR, along with CAIR’s executive director Awad, in
1994 soon after this meeting. Ahmad served as CAIR’s chairman of the
board until 2005 and Awad still serves as CAIR’s executive director.
Further, the federal prosecutors successfully resisted every effort
by CAIR to have the public designation of CAIR as an “unindicted
co-conspirator” removed from the court record and concluded as follows
in its brief to the court:
This group is applauding the attempt to restrict free speech. Are you surprised?

This is devastating if true and gives legs to previous speculation that Ambassador Stevens died in an kidnapping gone bad. The savages wanted (and still want) the Blind Sheik behind the 1993 World Trade Center bombing to be released. Jihadists had stormed the US embassy in Cairo on September 11, 2013 demanding that very thing. “The plan was based on abduction and exchange of high-level prisoners.” More proof of an elaborate plan of attack on America while Obama insisted it was free speech that was responsible for the attack. The FBI has done nothing to further the investigation and the murderous savges remain free.
This new information comes on the day that Obama named Susan Rice, a key player in the cover-up of the Benghazi scandal,as his National Security Adviser. America, these are very dangerous and deliberate actors.
What is so troubling is the media's refusal to ask questions and investigate this bloody and murderous attack on America on 9/11.
"Al Qaeda weapons expert says U.S. ambassador to Libya killed by lethal injection " Bill Gertz Free Beacon, June 5, 2013 (thanks to Suzanne)
An al Qaeda terrorist stated in a recent online posting that U.S.
Ambassador to Libya Chris Stevens was killed by lethal injection after
plans to kidnap him during the Sept. 11, 2012 terror attack in Benghazi
went bad.
The veracity of the claim made by Abdallah Dhu-al-Bajadin, who was
identified by U.S. officials as a known weapons experts for al Qaeda,
could not be determined. However, U.S. officials have not dismissed the
terrorist’s assertion.
An FBI spokeswoman indicated the bureau was aware of the claim but
declined to comment because of the bureau’s ongoing investigation into
the Benghazi attack.
“While there is a great deal of information in the media and on the
Internet about the attack in Benghazi, the FBI is not in a position at
this time to comment on anything specific with regard to the
investigation,” Kathy Wright, the FBI spokeswoman, said.
A State Department spokesman also had no comment.
The FBI is investigating the death of Stevens, State Department
information officer Sean Smith, and former Navy SEALs Tyrone Woods and
Glen Doherty. They were killed in the attack U.S. officials say was
carried out by an al Qaeda-linked group known as Ansar al Sharia.
A State Department Accountability Review Board report and an interim
House Republican report on the attack gave no cause of death for
Stevens, whose body was recovered by local Libyans in the early morning
hours of Sept. 12.
The House report,
“Interim Progress Report for the House Republican Conference,” said
“Libyan doctors tried unsuccessfully to resuscitate Ambassador Stevens
upon his arrival at the hospital.”
To date, no official cause of death for Stevens has been made public,
although it was reported that a Libyan doctor who examined Stevens said
he died from apparent smoke inhalation and related asphyxiation.
Video and photos of Stevens being handled by a mob in Benghazi were
posted on the Internet. It is not clear from the images whether he was
dead or alive at the time.
However, according to the March 14 posting on an al Qaeda-linked
website, Abdallah Dhu-al-Bajadin, the al Qaeda weapons expert, stated
that Stevens was given a lethal injection and that the injection was
overlooked during the medical autopsy.
According to Dhu-al-Bajadin, “the plan was based on abduction and exchange of high-level prisoners.”
“However, the operation took another turn, for a reason God only
knows, when one of the members of the jihadist cell improvised and
followed Plan B,” he wrote on the prominent jihadist web forum Ansar
al-Mujahideen Network.
Dhu-al-Bajadin’s claim of assassination also stated that it had been
copied to the Ansar al-Mujahidin website from the closed and al
Qaeda-accredited website Shumukh al-Islam. That site is only open to
members and was initially posted by a member identified as Adnan Shukri
for Dhu-al-Bajadin.
The reference to Shumukh al Islam has boosted the credibility of the claim among some U.S. intelligence analysts.
A western intelligence official said Dhu-al-Bajadin is a well-known
jihadist weapons experts and a key figure behind a magazine called Al Qaeda Airlines.
According to this official, intelligence analysts believe that
Dhu-al-Bajadin’s claim of assassination by lethal injection appears in
part aimed at putting pressure on the U.S. government over its handling
of the Benghazi attack.
The article did not say what substance was used in the lethal
injection. It also stated that the State Department had come under
criticism for not providing adequate security in Benghazi prior to the
attack.
Dhu-al-Bajadin also said he had further details of the attack and the assassination but would not reveal them in the posting.
The Washington Free Beacon obtained a copy of the translation of Dhu-al-Bajadin’s posting in Arabic.

Clearly, the number one skill for the post of National Security Adviser in the Obama administration is the ability to bald-face lie completely and directly to the American people with absolute aplomb. Susan Rice lied so pathologically and without hesitation on every Sunday show concerning the act of war by jihadist forces in Libya that resulted in the murder of four Americans.
Rice, in keeping with Obama's anti-American intellectual balloon, did not hold the slaughtering jihadists responsible. No, Rice went before the American people (as did Obama) and covered for them. She blamed our freedom, our first amendment rights.
And she is thusly rewarded by an outlaw administration. Obama's utter contempt for the American people is boundless.
This, coupled with the appointment of Samantha Power to the post of Ambassador to the UN, makes this a dark day indeed. But hardly surprising.
Susan Rice to be appointed national security adviser NBC News, June 4, 2013
Susan Rice will replace Tom Donilon as national security adviser, the White House is expected to announce Wednesday.
Rice,
currently the U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations, will be formally
introduced in her new role by President Barack Obama at 2 p.m. ET. A
White House official says Samantha Power, a former special assistant to
the president on the National Security Council, will be nominated to
replace Susan Rice as the U.N. ambassador.
Republicans who
targeted Rice over the handling of the 2012 attacks in Benghazi reacted
with the knowledge they have no role in confirming her for the post.
“Obviously I disagree [with Obama’s] appointment of Susan Rice as Nat'l
Security Adviser, but I'll make every effort to work [with] her on
[important] issues,” Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., one of Rice’s foremost
critics on Benghazi, wrote on Twitter.
I already posted about this egregious enemedia distortion, but over at Jihad Watch Robert Spencer brilliantly eviscerates both the Tennessean reporter's lack of concern for accuracy (or free speech) and the propaganda that was being spread at the event itself.
The Tennessean defames patriots who stood for free speech Robert Spencer at Jihad Watch
I met Nicole Young of The Tennessean last night and asked her if she was
as bad as her colleague Bob Smietana, who is one of the most
truth-challenged, agenda-driven, pro-Muslim Brotherhood reporters in the
country. Her report is probably not as bad as Smietana's would have
been, but she still places front and center the preposterous claim that
someone in the crowd was "afraid" of the other audience members, as if
these patriots who came out to defend the freedom of speech were some
gang of thugs -- but of course, that's how the mainstream media always
portrays those who oppose jihad and Islamic supremacism, and the facts
be damned.
The Tennessean report, like Bill Killian and Kenneth Moore,
completely ignores the genuine concern that people have about jihad and
Islamic supremacist activity, and the fact that Muslim groups (aided and
abetted by Obama) use claims of "hate" and "bigotry" to shut down
honest discussion of how jihadists use the texts and teachings of Islam
to justify violence and supremacism. Killian and Moore expatiated at
length about how "inflammatory" speech could violate civil rights laws,
and how Arab and Muslim children were being taunted in school, and how
Tennesseans should be more welcoming, etc. But no one was there to
defend the taunting of Muslim or Arab schoolchildren. No one was there
because he hated foreigners. People were there because they know that
truthful and accurate exploration of Islam's violent teachings has been
deemed "inflammatory" by both Muslim groups and the Obama regime -- and
that leaves us unable to examine the motives and goals of jihad
terrorists, or to defend ourselves adequately against them. That's why
everyone was so upset with Killian and Moore, but they were either
oblivious to that fact or intent on ignoring it.
And Pamela Geller's questions are apposite: "The enemedia supporting
the suppression and restriction of free speech in America presents an
interesting paradox. Are they so clueless or self-important that they
think they will be spared? Didn't the Obama administration spying on the
AP and other news organizations teach them anything?" Good questions
for Nicole Young to ponder.
"Diversity event draws raucous crowd in Coffee County," by Nicole Young for The Tennessean, June 4 (thanks to Pamela Geller):
MANCHESTER — Hundreds of people turned out at the Manchester
Convention Center Tuesday evening for an event billed as a discussion
of public discourse in a diverse society, with a particular focus on the
Muslim religion.
People were turned away at the door because the facility was too
full. Some grew angry and started hurling terms like “Communist,”
“Socialist” and “Muslim” at law enforcement officials.
The indoor event, sponsored by the American Muslim Advisory Council,
was countered by a large group of protesters, both outside and inside
the facility. Some who made it in before admission was cut off
continuously interrupted the speakers.
The interruptions were so intense at times that attendee Elaine
Smith, 55, of Bedford County, said she was afraid of other audience
members.
“I came here because I wanted to learn something … but I couldn’t
hear because the audience was so disrespectful,” she said. “I cried when
I got here. It makes me really sad especially because these people say
they’re Christians. The God I worship doesn’t teach hate.”
During the keynote speech given by Bill Killian, US Attorney of the
Eastern District of Tennessee, audience members continually interrupted,
making it difficult to understand what was said. Killian brought a
power point presentation that covered the First and 14th Amendments and
what constitutes a hate crime, among other things. He read the First
Amendment verbatim, between interruptions.
FBI special agent in charge of the Eastern Tennessee District Kenneth Moore took the podium after Killian.
“Our presence here tonight has generated some controversy,” he said.
“People think we want to step on and stifle their First Amendment
rights. Nothing could be further from the truth.”
Moore said the FBI was continually working to build relationships
with worshippers of Islam and other faiths because “they are essential”
to keeping the country safe.
Protester Larry McIntosh, 54, of Manchester, said he was skeptical of Killian and Moore.
“I feel like (these) men are attempting to intimidate people with the
freedom of speech and that bothers me,” he said. “I would like to say
that Muslims have a right to live here and worship freely, but I do not
think they have the right to change American law to fit Sharia law.
Violence no matter where it comes from bothers me.”
Former Saturday Night Live star Victoria Jackson was among the protesters.
“The Constitution and Sharia cannot coexist,” she said. “Islam is evil.”
Event organizers said they chose Manchester and Coffee County because
of a Facebook post made by Coffee County Commissioner Barry West last
month that said Muslims were best greeted behind a shotgun barrel. West
later apologized for the post, but it has since ignited a First
Amendment debate.
Gene Policinski, senior vice president and executive director of the
First Amendment Center, a non-profit educational iniative [sic] with
offices on Vanderbilt Campus and in Washington D.C., said the First
Amendment does not restrict the right of a public official to express
opinions.
“Are public officials held to a higher standard than you or I? I
think yes, but it's not a limitation,” he said. “There's nothing in the
First Amendment banning anyone to say things that people find repellant,
distasteful, repugnant, or even bigoted. The antidote that our founders
provided for speech is more speech, not less.”
Tell it to Killian.
Here is one media outlet that gives a more accurate news account of the magnificent American moment that took place last night in Manchester, Tennessee. The freedom revolution has begun.
"Event About Increasing Awareness and Understanding of American Muslims Brings in Massive Crowd in Manchester" WGNS Rado, June 5, 2013 (thanks to Andrew Bostom)
A special meeting took place Tuesday
night for the stated purpose of increasing awareness and understanding
of American Muslims. The event was held in Manchester, Tennessee.
The event called “Public Disclosure in a Diverse Society” was held at the Manchester-Coffee County Conference Center.
Special speakers for the event were Bill Killian, U.S. attorney

in charge of the FBI’s Knoxville Division. Killian said the community
forum was an educational effort to inform the community about civil
rights laws as they play into the exercise of religious freedom.
Sponsor of the event was the American Muslim Advisory Council
of Tennessee—a 15-member board formed two years ago when the General
Assembly was considering passing legislation that would restrict those
who worship Sharia Law, which is followed by Muslims.
An estimated crowd of over 1,000 gathered before the event with only 600-700 people allowed inside.

Last night was a triumph for freedom and freedom lovers everywhere. Almost 2,000 patriots stood down the Department of Justice. The increasingly out-of-control Obama adminstration got the message that his war on our freedoms would be met with fierce resistance. This is the "American Spring." This is the American freedom defense initiative.

The rule was no signs were allowed in the conference. Ha! I am surprised Killian didn't arrest me for my 'inflammatory" sign.
U.S. Attorney Bill Killian gave a power point presentation on hate
crimes and hate speech. From beginning to end it was full of
condescension, smears, charges that the crowd was racist, and
thinly-veiled threats that truthful speech about Islam could be
prosecuted. Never once did he address the fact that people aren't
concerned about Muslims because of racism and xenophobia, but because of
the reality of jihad terror and the uniform denial and obfuscation, and
victimhood posturing, that follows from Muslim communities after every
jihad attack. Killian even stooped so low as to claim a sharp rise in
"religiously-motivated hate crimes," without ever informing the crowd
that he was lumping in anti-Semitic hate crimes (which are at worldwide
record levels, largely due to Islamic antisemitism) with anti-Muslim
hate crimes.
FBI data shows “hate” crimes in Tennessee, including against Muslims, is half the the national average, 0.6 v. 1.5/100,000 (source: FBI). But Killian was spouting pure Islamic supremacist propaganda. He told the audience that despite 50 prosecutions and convictions of
hate crimes in his district, "far too many people are still repeating
the same vicious acts against the Arab-Muslim ... " This is the ruse the DoJ is using to restrict free speech. Killian said that if someone makes threats of violence, "that is not protected speech and they will be prosecuted." Mr. Killian, I have a file of threats three inches thick, but those threats and the spike in anti-semitic threats and violence are of no import to you and your jackbooted thugs. Are you meeting with Jewish groups and going around the state and the nation stumping for Jews? Ha!
The fact is, the only interest Killian has in the dramatic rise in anti-semitic attacks is in being able to group it in with all "religious-based" violence so as to make the case for hate speech laws banning anti-Islamic rhetoric. That is sharia law. Mind you, this all stems from a bad joke that a local politician made on facebook. A joke is the impetus for the criminalization of our most protected freedom -- speech.
Killian mythologizes
Well, Power will fit right in at the Jew-hating UN, that's for sure.
President Barack Obama will on Wednesday nominate Samantha Power as his
new ambassador to the United Nations, administration officials tell
POLITICO. Power would replace Susan Rice, his new pick for national
security adviser.
Power, an Irish-born author on human rights and
genocide, served as an aide at the National Security Council as the
senior director for multilateral affairs and was named chair of the
Atrocities Prevention Board that Obama created last year.
Obama ads another vicious antisemite to one of his top posts. He is so comfortable with haters -- it's really creepy. Samantha Power was removed from his campaign team back in March 2008 because she was radioactive -- but now the diabolist answers to no one.
Obama never seemed fazed by her calling in a 2002 interview with
Harry Kreisler of the Institute for International Studies at Berkeley
for military action against Israel to secure the creation of a
Palestinian state. Power said that establishing a Palestinian state
would mean “sacrificing – or investing, I think, more than sacrificing –
billions of dollars, not in servicing Israel’s military, but actually
investing in the new state of Palestine, in investing the billions of
dollars it would probably take, also, to support what will have to be a
mammoth protection force, not of the old Rwanda kind, but a meaningful military presence.” She said that this would “require external intervention."
UPDATE: Read Ed Lasky's stunning takedown of Power here.
When concerns arose in 2008 regarding Barack Obama and his views towards Israel it generated wrath from Ms. Power,
who was a key foreign policy adviser to candidate Obama. She let loose
in a radio interview while in Europe, "So much of it is about: 'Is he
going to be good for the Jews?" Her writings and sayings are laced with
more of anti-Semitism.
Power writes of her willingness to impose solutions on the Israelis and Palestinians and that she would be willing to:
"alienat[e]
a domestic constituency of tremendous political and financial import;
it may more crucially mean sacrificing...billions of dollars, not in
servicing Israel's military, but actually investing in the state of
Palestine."
She has talked about those nefarious forces in America that are flaws in formulating US foreign policy:
Another
longstanding foreign policy flaw is the degree to which special
interests dictate the way in which the "national interest" as a whole is
defined and pursued.... America's important historic relationship with
Israel has often led foreign policy decision-makers to defer
reflexively to Israeli security assessments, and to replicate Israeli
tactics, which, as the war in Lebanon last summer demonstrated, can turn out to be counter-productive.
And
she later complained about Israel's treatment of Lebanon when that
nation was forced to defend itself against attacks from terror groups
based there:
"Israeli
forces refused to comply with the spirit of international demands to
withdraw and the major powers on the Security Council were not prepared
to deal with the gnarly issues that had sparked the Israelis invasion in
the first place: dispossessed Palestinians and Israeli insecurity".
Furthermore she wrote in her most recent book (Chasing the Flame: One Man's Fight to Save the World -- basically a hagiography of a UN employee and a glorification of the United Nations):
Israel had thumbed its nose at the Security Council resolutions that demanded that Israel stay out of Lebanon, and in the course of invading a neighbor, its forces had trampled on the UN peacekeepers in its way".
She even went so far as to call Israelis "bastards"
She even promoted Palestinian propaganda that a massacre was committed in Jenin-even telling off a New York Times reporter (!) who did not agree with her view
She also wanted to impose a settlement on Israel, backed up with the placement of US troops (Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel thinks likewise, btw).
Her
adherence to the Soros-funded principle of Responsibility to Protect as
an international policy can be used as a cudgel against Israel when it
comes to the Palestinians and any actions Israel may be compelled to
take in Lebanon to defend herself from Hezb'allah (now busy committing
war crimes in Syria at the behest of the mullahs in Iran).
Ms. Power also derided concerns about Iran's nuclear weapons program in a Time magazine column,
stating that it was a figment of the imagination conjured up and
promoted by George Bush to gin up pressure on Iran . She counseled, what
else, outreach and engagement not further pressure. She will be great
at the United Nations: great for Iran, great for Hezb'llah, great for
Hamas.
She will be widely welcomed in that hotbed of hatred.
The enemedia supporting the suppression and restriction of free speech in America presents an interesting paradox. Are they so clueless or self-important that they think they will be spared? Didn't the Obama administration spying on the AP and other news organizations teach them anything?
Obama's Department of Justice seeks to criminalize criticism of Islam -- a declaration of war on the first amendment. Once the first amendment is overthrown, it's over.
I was there -- here is what happened.
This Tennessean 'news' report is egregious and wrong: Diversity event draws raucous crowd in Coffee County
MANCHESTER — Hundreds of people turned out at the
Manchester Convention Center Tuesday evening for an event billed as a
discussion of public discourse in a diverse society, with a particular
focus on the Muslim religion.
People were turned away at the door
because the facility was too full. Some grew angry and started hurling
terms like “Communist,” “Socialist” and “Muslim” at law enforcement
officials.
The indoor event, sponsored by the American Muslim
Advisory Council, was countered by a large group of protesters, both
outside and inside the facility. Some who made it in before admission
was cut off continuously interrupted the speakers.
The
interruptions were so intense at times that attendee Elaine Smith, 55,
of Bedford County, said she was afraid of other audience members.
“I
came here because I wanted to learn something … but I couldn’t hear
because the audience was so disrespectful,” she said. “I cried when I
got here. It makes me really sad especially because these people say
they’re Christians. The God I worship doesn’t teach hate.”
During
the keynote speech given by Bill Killian, US Attorney of the Eastern
District of Tennessee, audience members continually interrupted, making
it difficult to understand what was said. Killian brought a power point
presentation that covered the First and 14th Amendments and what
constitutes a hate crime, among other things. He read the First
Amendment verbatim, between interruptions.
And here is a report from Yahoo:
DOJ Attorney Cracks Down on Anti-Muslim Hate Speech By Maryam Khan Ansari | Yahoo!
Tennessee DOJ Attorney Bill Killian Wants to Address Anti-Muslim Hate Speech -- but Many Are Protesting His Efforts
Internet postings with anti-Muslim hate messages may soon be subject to federal criminal laws, according to Bill Killian, the U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Tennessee.
On Tuesday, Killian and the FBI office in Knoxville, Tenn., and Bill
Killian, U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Tennessee, will be
holding a meeting with Muslim leaders in the area.
Killian and Kenneth Moore, the FBI special agent from the Knoxville
office, will be special speakers at a special meeting entitled "Public
Disclosure in a Diverse Society." They will be speaking with the Muslim
community in Knoxville to inform them of their civil rights, as they
pertain to hate speech and hate crimes.
Twitter feeds, however, have been rife with calls to action against the event.
The controversy is largely due to Killian's statements
regarding a recent Facebook posting by Coffee County Commissioner Barry
West. In that posting, West pictured a man pointing a double-barreled
shotgun at the camera, with the caption reading "How to Wink at a
Muslim."
Killian has stated that he plans to use federal civil rights laws to
curb hate speech, if the speech is made incident to a hate crime. Now,
many online pundits, including Pamela Geller, are accusing Killian and
the Department of Justice of attempting to criminalize Islamophobic hate
speech.
The real issue for many is that hate speech is generally protected
under the First Amendment, unless the speech incites violence. Attempts
to prosecute people for hateful speech on social media will almost
certainly face backlash, as the First Amendment is one of the
cornerstones of American law.
"The hate speech would have to pose a direct threat to an
individual," said Dr. Charles Haynes, of the First Amendment Center,
when asked how Killian could prosecute for hateful statements made in
social media.
"It's a mystery to me," Haynes replied, when asked which statute he thought Killian would use to prosecute hate speech.
But Killian claims that he isn't seeking to stifle the First
Amendment's protections on free speech. Rather, he's concerned with the
impediment on the free practice of one's religion -- another key aspect
of the First Amendment.
"People are free to hate, as long as they don't act on it," Killian said.
Killian wants to make one thing very clear: that he does not plan to
prosecute anyone for posting hateful comments on social media. Rather,
he intends to use hate speech as evidence in the prosecution of hate
crimes.
"Hateful statements directed at another will be used as evidence in a hate crime," he said.
Using a hypothetical example, Killian explained:
"Imagine if you and I were planning to vandalize a mosque and we
conspired over Facebook. We set a time to meet at that mosque through
Facebook chat. Those statements would be used as evidence in prosecuting
a conspiracy to commit a hate crime. By no means are we prosecuting
anyone in violation of the First Amendment."
Despite this, many plan to protest, as Pamela Geller's website Atlas Shrugs, is calling for a demonstration outside the Manchester-Coffee County Conference Center.
This isn't fazing Killian, however.
"Our district has a 96 percent conviction rate," Killian says, "and
we've never had a conviction overturned for violation of First
Amendment."
