The moment the car struck the pedestrians in Manchester city centre
Running down non-Muslims, it's how they celebrate Eid, doncha know?
"Video: Man found guilty of attempted murder after city centre hit-and-run" Manchester Evening News, October 3, 2013, (thanks to The Religion of Peace)

Aqab Hussain
A motorist who ploughed into a group of revellers and left a blind
man brain damaged is facing a lengthy stretch in prison after being
found guilty of four charges of attempted murder.
Aqab Hussain
used his Vauxhall Corsa as a ‘lethal weapon’ after his night out
celebrating the Muslim festival of Eid took a violent turn.
CCTV captured the 21-year-old driving the wrong way down Princess Street in Manchester city centre
before striking partially-sighted Michael Ward and two of his friends,
Paul Hulme and Martin Harris, at the junction of John Dalton Street.
Mr
Ward, then 28, from Bolton, was scooped up on the bonnet before being
‘deposited’ at the side of the road by the veering car. He was injured
so severely that he was in intensive care for twenty days and spent
around four months in a high dependency unit.
Meanwhile, Mr Hulme
suffered fractures to his right leg after being 'flipped into the air',
while Mr Harris suffered only minor injuries. A fourth member of Mr
Ward's group, Thomas Mallanphy, narrowly escaped injury after stepping
back from the road, Mr Hussain's Manchester Crown Court trial heard.
Hussain, of Gateshead Close, Rusholme, denied four charges of
attempted murder in the trial but was found guilty by a unanimous jury
after three-and-a-half hours of deliberation.
The victims were
targeted after being the 'aggressors' in a brief street fight with Mr
Hussain's group in Albert Square in the early hours of August 21 last
year.
Earlier that evening, both groups of men had been enjoying a
night out at Silk’s Gentlemen’s Club at Lloyd Street. But after leaving
the lapdancing venue, a member of Hussain’s group was punched in a
scuffle with someone from Mr Ward’s group.
After the warning ‘just watch’ – Hussain staged the hit and run, described as 'despicable' by prosecutor Ian Metcalfe.
After
sustaining multiple skull fractures, a blood clot and bruising on the
brain, Mr Ward had to have a piece of his skull removed and lost the use
of his right arm.
The defendant, who was linked to the incident
by a trail of circumstantial evidence, quickly left the country for
Pakistan but was arrested at Manchester Airport six weeks afterwards.
After
being found guilty Hussain was remanded in custody by Judge Robert
Atherton and is now expected to be sentenced on October 31.
The
Crown Prosecution Service has welcomed the verdict. Rachael Pavion,
District Crown Prosecutor for CPS North West, said: “Aqab Hussain used
his car as a weapon, he sought revenge by driving at speed deliberately
at the four men with a clear intention to kill.
“After he struck his victims, he drove from the scene and showed complete disregard for the harm he had caused.
"Eye
witnesses, together with CCTV and forensic evidence helped to prove
that he was the driver of the vehicle that had collided with the
victims. The CPS has worked closely alongside the police to piece all
the evidence together and present a strong case to the jury, who have
today accepted the prosecution case and delivered a guilty verdict. As a
result, Aqab Hussain has been brought to justice and he must now take
responsibility for his dangerous actions.”

Murdered in their beds.
Last weekend, e devout Muslim group, Boko Haram, gunned down dozens of students as
they slept in dormitories, and torched classrooms. Boko Haram means
"Western education is sinful" or literally, "Books bad."
Well over 12,000 Christians have been slaughtered by Muslims in
Nigeria. Despite the daily attacks from this Muslim group, Boko Haram, Obama continues to refuse to designate them a
terrorist
group. But he designates Republicans in Congress "extremists."
And remember, "islamophobia" is the problem. That's the takeaway about this worldwide genocidal movement.
Nigeria: Yobe Attack - Death Toll Rises to 65 By All Africa.com (thanks to The Religion of Peace)
Yobe State Specialist Hospital yesterday received 15 more corpses of
students killed by suspected Boko Haram members during an attack on the
College of Agriculture in Gujba local government area of Yobe State. The
corpses were in addition to about 50 bodies earlier brought to the
hospital's morgue two hours after the attack by the sect members.
A hospital ambulance conveyed 12 bodies while students provided
security escort to the hospital. Dead bodies were picked from the
surrounding bushes.
A source from the hospital told LEADERSHIP that, apart from the 50
students killed in the attack, 15 more corpses of students were brought
to the hospital. "We collected 49 on Sunday and today another 15,
bringing the total death toll to 64. And the fact is that we did not
take into account bodies recovered in the bush, and our people are still
in the morgue for received corpses," he said.
Speaking on the injured students, the source said, "I cannot tell you
the exact number of the injured in yesterday's attacks. I am certain
that many students were brought here, Sani Abacha Specialist Hospital,
Damaturu, for treatment, while now we have 64 bodies of the students at
the hospital morgue for further identification by the hospital
authorities and parents."
Eighteen students of Government Secondary School, Mamudo, were killed
by the same Boko Haram gunmen on July 6, 2013, while the Buni-Yadi
attacks of last Thursday claimed the lives of three persons, including
the wife of a police officer.
Nigeria beefs up school security after attacks: sources
After Islamists killed 40 students in a dormitory attack, Nigerian
authorities are taking measures to improve security around schools,
including stepping up patrols and putting armed soldiers outside them
and guarding school buses.
Government sources told Reuters on Monday that the move is aimed to
restore confidence in the Western style schools that have been scenes of
bloody massacres by Boko Haram militants fighting for an Islamic state,
and who are seen as the main security threat to Africa's top oil
producer.
A presidency source told Reuters President Goodluck Jonathan met
senior security aides late on Sunday to discuss how to respond to the
latest deadly shift in tactics by the insurgents.
"In the meeting they decided to provide special security cover for
schools in the northeast and some other places prone to possible
attacks," the source, who was present but who declined to be named,
said.
"The president is not happy ... He directed security chiefs to work out a new strategy so this doesn't happen again."
Gunmen stormed an agricultural college in Gujba area of Yobe State,
in northeastern Nigeria, on Sunday, dragging students out of their beds
and shooting them dead - the latest evidence that a military offensive
against Boko Haram since May has so far failed to quell the north's
worsening violence.

Federal court reviews legality of NYPD Muslim surveillance program The Guardian, October 3, 2013 (thanks to Larry Estavan)
Judge will rule whether strict limits on surveillance apply to the NYPD's investigations into hundreds of Muslims
Federal judge on Tuesday revisited at a decades-old court settlement restricting how the New York Police Department conducts surveillance after civil rights lawyers accused the department of breaking those rules by monitoring Muslims.
The dispute centers on the restrictions set by the Handschu decree,
which was put in place in response to surveillance used against war
protesters in the 1960s and 70s. The decree was relaxed following the
September 11 terror attacks to allow police to more freely monitor
political activity in public places.
"I've come to think of this
case as a volcano that's asleep most of the time … but every now and
then blows up," District Judge Charles Haight said at the start of a
hearing in federal court in Manhattan.
The latest eruption stems from the NYPD's monitoring of Muslims, where they eat, study and worship as part of its counterterrorism efforts.
In
February, civil rights lawyers filed papers seeking a court order
barring further surveillance of Muslims without evidence of crimes and a
court-appointed auditor to oversee police activities that were
"flagrant and persistent".
The police measures directed at Muslims
violate the Handschu decree "because they're not rooted in the fact
that there's a criminal predicate", said plaintiff attorney Paul
Chevigny. "They're rooted in the fact that the subjects are Muslims."
The
city has countered by claiming that it closely observes the Handschu
guidelines when making decisions about how to fight terror. A city
lawyer, Peter Farrell, told the judge on Tuesday that the department
launches investigations based on evidence of legitimate threats, not religion.
"It's
undeniable that New York City remains at the center of the threat by
Islamists who have been radicalized to violence," he said.
The hearing was expected to last most of the day on Tuesday. It was unclear when the judge would rule.
"Handschu"
refers to lead plaintiff Barbara Handschu in a case that included 1960s
radical activist Abbie Hoffman among its plaintiffs. The 1985 court
settlement set strict time limits for investigations, imposed rules on
the kinds of records police could keep and created a three-person body
to oversee such investigations.
The civil rights lawyers filed the latest motion following a series of stories by the Associated Press that revealed the NYPD intelligence division infiltrated dozens of mosques and Muslim student groups and investigated hundreds.
Perhaps Obama is funding this "rebel" too.

Say what? Is he off his meds here? The left and its unions have always trafficked in strikes and the threat of strikes. That's what they do. I expect the activist enemedia to report these remarks as if they had the brilliance of Lincoln's Gettysburg address.
Jim Simpson sent this:
In his unguarded minutes, or perhaps more to the point, when he doesn't have his handlers, scripts and teleprompters with him, Obama reveals what a grossly incompetent, mindless idiot he really is.
Trying to draw an analogy between the government shutdown – which of course he blames Republicans for – Obama tells workers that if they shut down the factory, they’d be fired.
We need not repeat that this corrupt administration has empowered unions to strike, engage in economic sabotage and violence and obstruct the political process like no other time in history.
Increasingly in the West, non-Muslims must subordinate their rights to Islamic supremacists, as prescribed under Islamic law. This is nothing new in Muslim countries, where religious minorities are oppressed, persecuted and many times slaughtered. But this repugnant observance of the sharia is now spreading in Western societies, and non-Muslims increasingly are victims of the capricious whims of vengeful Muslims wielding the sharia like a club.
"Christian worker seeks ruling to challenge 'anti-Islam' dismissal" Christian Legal Centre, Octboer 3, 2013 (thanks to Janet Mefferd)
A Christian woman who worked at Heathrow airport is seeking to
challenge her unfair dismissal which was prompted by false claims that
she was "anti-Islam".
Nohad Halawi needs an Employment Appeal Tribunal to rule that she has
employment rights before she can go on to challenge the nature of her
dismissal. Her case will be heard by the Employment Appeal Tribunal in
London tomorrow (04 OCTOBER).
Nohad Halawi worked at a beauty counter in Heathrow Terminal 3 for over
ten years and was a valued member of the team. However, she was unable
to continue working there after management withdrew her airside pass,
something which is required for anyone working at duty free.
The events leading up to Nohad’s dismissal began when she had a
conversation with a colleague and commented on his character, saying
that he was a “man of God”. This was misheard by a Muslim colleague to
be a criticism of Islam.
Despite the fact that the issue was resolved by Nohad’s manager,
another Muslim colleague started spreading rumours that Mrs Halawi was
“anti-Islam”, which ultimately led to her airside pass being suspended
and then withdrawn, which meant she was no longer allowed to work at the
airport. Nohad was disadvantaged throughout the investigation process
and her side of the story was ignored by her managers.
A judge at an employment tribunal ruled in June 2012 that Mrs Halawi
was not employed despite significant evidence to the contrary. This
meant that she effectively had no employment rights, even though her
work was controlled by two companies (World Duty Free and Caroline South
Associates).
She was therefore unable to challenge the unfair circumstances of her
dismissal. In order for Mrs Halawi to do this, she is seeking a ruling
from the Employment Appeal Tribunal that she does have employment
rights. Her case will be heard in London tomorrow (04 OCTOBER).
Christian Legal Centre is supporting Mrs Halawi.
Andrea Minichiello Williams, CEO of Christian Legal Centre, said:
“The circumstances of Nohad’s dismissal have got to be challenged. In
order for this to happen we need a recognition from the judge that she
has employment rights.
“Although at this point we are only dealing with the issue of
employment rights, there are bigger issues on the horizon. There is a
deference shown to Muslims in the workplace which is not shown to
Christians.
“Nohad was effectively dismissed on the basis of false claims against
her which were not properly dealt with or investigated. The nature of
the accusations also suggests that there is a security risk at Heathrow –
one of the biggest ports of entry into the UK. The case needs to
progress so that these issues can be dealt with.”
"If I did
not accept Islam, they would beat me, burn my house, and evict me from
the society. Their threats chilled me to the bone. That is why I pretended to
accept Islam, but faith in Christ is the wellspring of my life. Now I am
no longer a Muslim; I am a Christian."
But, remember, according to the Islamic groups in the USA, there is no compulsion in Islam. In fact, that is all it is -- the most brutal compulsion on the face of the earth.
"Bangladeshi Christians told to close church, convert to Islam" Christian Today, October 3, 3013
A local government official in central Bangladesh has halted the
construction of a church, forced Christians to worship at a mosque and
threatened them with eviction from their village unless they renounce
their faith.
The Tangail Evangelical Holiness Church in Bilbathuagani village,
Tangail district, about 100 kilometres north of Dhaka, was created Sept.
8 by a group of about 25 Christians who had been meeting secretly for
three years.
However, local council chairman Rafiqul Islam Faruk joined around 200
demonstrators September 13 to protest against the start of the building
of the church.
The following day, the Christians were summoned to his office. More
than 1,000 Muslims waited outside, following an announcement at all
local mosques to gather at the chairman's office.
Ordered to embrace Islam
Mokrom Ali, 32, told World Watch Monitor he was forced to accept Islam.
"The chairman and the imams of the mosques interrogated me for
accepting Christianity. They asked me why I had become a Christian. It
is a great sin to become a Christian from Islam," Asli said. "If I did
not accept Islam, they would beat me, burn my house, and evict me from
the society.
"Their threats chilled me to the bone. That is why I pretended to
accept Islam, but faith in Christ is the wellspring of my life. Now I am
no longer a Muslim; I am a Christian."
Mojnu Mia, 31, told World Watch Monitor he was also forced to accept Islam against his will.
"The chairman and the imams asked me what my religion is. I said I
was a Christian. Then they threatened to beat me and evict me from the
village unless I recanted my faith in Christianity," Mia said.
"They had browbeaten me into accepting Islam. I accepted it only to
get out from that predicament. But later, I embraced Christianity by
swearing a confession in the court.
"The chairman came to know that I became a Christian again, by
affidavit. He threatened that it would not be possible to practise
Christianity in that area. If I stick to this religion, I must leave
this place.
"The chairman is clipping the wings of our faith. I do not know how
long we can grin and bear it. We want religious freedom. We want to
practise our religion freely."
Eight Christians agreed to return to Islam since Sept. 14, under the
chairman's orders. The chairman and his associates had already beaten
some of those Christians three years ago for accepting Christianity.
'They were derailed'
Local chairman Faruk told World Watch Monitor that some Christians
had been acting against Islam, due to their incorrect interpretation of
the Qur'an.
"The Imams and other elders of the society called them for
rectification because of their aberrant behaviour. They were derailed,
so we tried to put them on the right track," he said.
"Eight people who had deviated came back to Islam. We are trying to
bring back others. To change a religion, a person needs to swear his or
her name, and should inform a local magistrate. If the magistrate
permits, then he or she can change religion. But what they are doing is
completely wrong."
World Watch Monitor asked Faruk if he would protest if any of those
people filed an affidavit with the court re-affirming their
Christianity.
Faruk said there would be "huge pressure from the society against it.
As a representative of the local people, I cannot go against the public
sentiment."
The chairman warned the Christians not to resume the construction of the church, saying it was anti-Islamic.
The Bangladesh constitution grants every citizen the right to
profess, practise or propagate any religion. Every religious community
or denomination has the right to establish, maintain and manage its
religious institutions.
Rev. Mrinal Kanti Baroi, the group's leader, told World Watch Monitor
they had tried to show the constitution's clause on religious freedom
to the chairman, to no avail.
"We took one copy of the constitution to the chairman and other
elders of the society, but they did not listen to us and did not want to
see it," Baroi said.
On September 15, members of the congregation wrote a letter to the
district administrative chief, requesting safety and protection.
Deputy commissioner Anisur Rahman of Tangail district told World
Watch Monitor that necessary steps had been taken to ensure their safety
and security.
A plea for harmony
Bangladeshi Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, who has been leading a
secular government in the Muslim-majority country since 2009, on Sept. 3
called upon her countrymen to work together to protect the communal
harmony "being nurtured in the country for thousands of years". She made
her remarks after inaugurating reconstructed Buddhist temples, which
had been damaged and burnt by criminals in September 2012.
The United States Commission on International Religious Freedom
removed Bangladesh from its Watch List after the victory of Sheikh
Hasina's Awami League in the 2008 general election. Her centre-left
party is considered to promote secular policies and to be favourable
toward minority rights. Her announcement to implement religious freedom
reforms was another cause for Bangladesh to be removed from the Watch
List.
Of Bangladesh's 154 million people, Sunni Muslims constitute 90% and
Hindus 9%, according to the 2001 census. The remaining 1% is mainly
Christian and Buddhist

ASIA/PAKISTAN - After the bombs, atrocities against Christians, organ trafficking concerning victims of Peshawar" Fides.org, October 1, 2013 (thanks to Filip)
Karachi (Agenzia Fides) - After the bombs in the church of All
Saints in Peshawar, the situation remains tense in the Pakistani
society: not only tragedy but also horror. The Christians said they were
"horrified" by the rumors that link the bombs in Peshawar to the vast
problem of organ trafficking: this is what some members of NGOs in civil
society in Pakistan told Fides. Some of the "jackals", presumably local
paramedics, seem to have taken advantage of the high number of deaths
and injuries in order to steal the bodies of victims and exploit them
for the illegal organ trade. "If this were true, it would mean that
there are criminals who are taking advantage of the suffering of
Christian victims in a truly blasphemous and sacrilegious manner", notes
Fr. Mario Rodrigues, a priest of Karachi.
Read this excellent letter:
Muslims harvesting human organs, not so much Jews.

KOSOVO:The United Nations knew about organ trafficking in postwar Kosovo
as early as 2003.Organ trafficking took place from 1999 to 2000,
immediately after Kosovo's NATO-backed independence war.
Senior commanders of the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) obtained and trafficked organs out of Kosovo and Albania.
The victims were mostly Serbian men, but also included young women from other Eastern European countries.
On the other hand consummate Jewhater Liberal Democrat Peer Jenny Tonge
got fired back in 2010 for her Jewhate-too-far comments regarding Jews
harvesting organs in Haiti:"Baroness Jenny Tonge, a Liberal Democrat
lawmaker in Britain, has been fired from her position as party health
spokesperson for urging a probe into claims that Israel Defense Forces
soldiers harvested organs in Haiti following last month's earthquake,
the Guardian reported on Saturday."
So no organ harvesting in Haiti by Jews and not in Palestine either
despite what a leading Swedish newspaper reported in 2009 after
'journalist' Donald Boström wrote that Israeli soldiers are abducting
Palestinians in order to steal their organs:
"They plunder the organs of our sons," read the headline in Sweden's
largest daily newspaper, the left-leaning Aftonbladet, which devoted a
double spread in its cultural section to the article.
The report quotes Palestinian claims ( natch) that young men from the
West Bank and Gaza Strip had been seized by the Israel Defense Forces,
and their bodies returned to the families with missing organs.
"'Our sons are used as involuntary organ donors,' relatives of Khaled
from Nablus said to me, as did the mother of Raed from Jenin as well as
the uncles of Machmod and Nafes from Gaza, who all had disappeared for a
few days and returned by night, dead and autopsied," writes author
Donald Boström in his report.
During a later visit to Israel, Bolstrom admitted he had no proof for
his story. Thus another Jewhate lie was destroyed- but not before it
went half way round the world
Can't see the 'Muslims harvesting human organs' in the Guardian or on the BBC. WONDER WHY?
Sincerely

Yesterday I ran part one of an interview I did with The Washington Times concerning Zionism. If you missed it, you can read it here. It is
going to run in four parts. Today part two was published. The repugnant, anti-Jewish views expressed by political
columnist Allan C. Brownfeld are front and center in the article. Perhaps write Joseph Cotto feared being targeted by anti-ssemites and Israel haters as being a puppet of the "Jewish lobby."
"Should American Jews care about Israel?" Joseph Cotto, Washington Times Communities, October 3, 2013,
Photo: plus.google.com
The question of Zionism’s role in twenty-first century America continues to press itself.
While many of those with extreme political ideologies speak
of Zionism in heated terms, it has a fairly simple definition: The
desire for a Jewish state, the continued support of that state, and
policies which encourage Jewish emigration to said state.
This state is Israel.
Over the last several years, free birthright trips to Israel
for American Jews have become quite popular. These trips build sympathy
for Zionism. What can be said about them?
“Since its founding in 1999, the Birthright Israel program
has sent more than 260,000 young Jews from around the world to Israel at
a cost of more than $600 million,” explains Allan C. Brownfeld,
publications editor at the American Council for Judaism. His
longstanding group has opposed ethnocentric Jewish politics since its
founding in the 1940s.
“The goal,” he continues, “in the words of co-founder
Charles Bronfman is ‘the selling of Jewishness to Jews.’ His partner in
founding Birthright, Michael Steinhardt, who describes himself as an
atheist, says that identification with Israel is ‘a substitute for
theology.’”
SEE RELATED: Does Zionism help or hurt Jews in the Diaspora?
Later, Brownfeld remarks that “Birthright seeks to tie its
participants not to Judaism, but to Israel, which it proclaims to be
their ‘homeland.’
“What would we think if other religious groups sponsored
trips for their young people which urged them to identify with and
emigrate to another country? It is as if the Episcopal Church or the
Presbyterian Church, concerned about declining membership, sent young
people to England or Scotland to rejuvenate their faith. If they did,
one supposes, they would expect them to return home and join local
churches–-not emigrate.”
Pamela Geller, one of America’s most vociferous Jewish
political pundits, disagrees: “I love [Birthright Israel trips]. Why
shouldn’t American Jews come to know and love their ancestral homeland?”
Beyond Birthright Israel, the line between Jewish religious
ethics and an Israeli national identity has become blurred in American
politics. What is going on here?
“The Israeli government,” Brownfeld tells, “sadly, has never
recognized that Jewish Americans are very much at home and are not
‘Israelis in exile.’ Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has repeatedly
called upon American Jews to make a ‘mass aliya’ (emigration) to Israel.
No other foreign government argues that millions of Americans, because
of their religion, are in”exile” in the United States and that their
“real” homeland is that foreign country.
“While we wish Israel well and hope for a lasting peace in
the Middle East, we believe that Israel should content itself with being
the government of its own citizens.
“Some Jewish groups, in our view, have engaged in a form of
idolatry by placing Israel, rather than God, at the center of Jewish
life. For religious organizations to be engaged in political activity,
such as promoting military attacks upon Syria and Iran, is to
dangerously confuse the realm of religion and politics.
“It has corrupted Judaism. As one of the leading Jewish
theologians and philosophers of the 20th century, Abraham Joshua Heschel
(who accompanied Martin Luther King 50 years ago at the March on
Washington) said: ‘Judaism is not a religion of space and does not
worship the soil. So, too, the State of Israel is not the climax of
Jewish history, but a test of the integrity of the Jewish people and the
competence of Judaism.’”
Geller challenges the question itself: “Are you saying that
support for Israel has become part and parcel of Jewish religious
ethics? I disagree. Look at the overwhelming percentage of Jews who
voted for Obama, despite his career-long identification with foes of
Israel. And on the other side, isn’t the overwhelming evangelical
support for Israel a refutation of the idea that Zionism is merely a
Jewish issue?”
Irrespective of one’s views on these issues, both Birthright
Israel and Israeli identity among diaspora Jews speak to the heart of
concern over sociocultural assimilation.
Brownfeld believes that there really isn’t much to fear.
“In a free and open society such as ours, religion is part
of an open marketplace of ideas,” he says. “If Judaism is relevant and
meaningful, it will retain members, and attract new ones. Some Jewish
groups express concern about the growth of inter-faith marriage and some
have even called it a ‘silent holocaust.’
“This is an unfortunate response to the challenges of living
in freedom, as if the ghetto walls of medieval Europe were preferable
because they kept the group together. Judaism is moving toward being
more open and welcoming, which is a good thing, although this subject is
not the focus of the ACJ’s attention.”
Geller has a quite different perspective.
“Israel was founded by non-religious Jews,” she begins.
“Sociocultural assimilation is a problem but has never been absolutely
correlated to anti-Zionism. Many Jews are concerned about sociocultural
assimilation; are sociocultural assimilation and a love of freedom
mutually exclusive?
“The orthodox betrayers of Jews and Israel, the anti-Zionist
Neturei Karta, are hardly assimilated, but they still work with
Israel’s enemies who want a new genocide of the Jews. Neturei Karta
stand with ‘Palestinians’ calling for annihilation of Israel. They have
gone to Iran and met with the former President of the Islamic Republic,
Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, who has called for “the cancer” of Israel to be
‘wiped off the map.’
“There is nothing Jewish or righteous about these imposters in Jewish garb.”
The irony is so thick here, it's hard to know where to start. I have been banned in Britain for my principled dedication to freedom and equality for all before the law. But apparently Cameron and the Home Secretary worried that my opposition to religious apartheid, gender apartheid, creed apartheid, misogyny might upset savages like those in the article below (who are free to speak in London).
And if that wasn't enough, here in the US, the gay community condemned our AFDI ads highlighting the Muslim oppression of gays under the sharia. Madness.
Throw Gays from a Mountain' Imam to Speak
at Conference Gay Star News, 03 October 2013
| By Omar Kuddus (thanks to Religion of Peace.com)
One preacher attending Beloved to Allah incited
Muslim dentists to punish gays by stabbing them in the gums with a ‘big,
big needle’
An iman who says gays should be thrown off mountains and stabbed in the
gums by Muslim dentists is to be a lead speaker at a conference in
London.
He is among several homophobic Muslim preachers who will be speaking at
the Beloved to Allah event at Edmonton Islamic Centre in north London
on Sunday (6 October).
Though the event itself is based around a more general Islam theme, some of the speakers hold extremist views.
Among them are Abu Usamah At-Thahabi who has been banned from several universities in the UK and has previously referred to gay people as ‘perverted, dirty, filthy dogs who should be murdered’.
He was filmed in Channel 4’s Undercover Mosque documentary saying: ‘Take that homosexual man and throw him off the mountain.
'They have given them [homosexuals] unprecedented rights, so that your
child can be exposed and introduced to lesbians. Now they say “if you
discriminate against that, you’re going to jail”. We’ll discriminate,
but we’ll discriminate in a way where we don’t get in trouble. The
Muslim is a dentist, one of those people come, you want to take a big,
big needle and stick it in his gums.’
He defended his statements in a video reply.
Brunel University had come under fire for allowing the homophobic Muslim preacher to speak at an event but at the last minute the event was cancelled because of fears of violent protests.
Abdul Hakeem Quick who has also endorsed the death penalty for homosexuals is also a guest speaker.
Quick in an interview for Voice of Islam broadcast on New Zealand
television in 2003, told viewers that AIDS was caused by the ‘filthy
practices’ of homosexuals; homosexuals were dying from AIDS and ‘they
want to take us all down with them’ and that the Islamic position on
homosexuality is ‘death’.
He also said: ‘Muslims are going to have to take a stand [against homosexuals] and it’s not enough to call names.’
Ustadh Murtazah Khan is another preacher who advocates violence against gay people and listed as a speaker.
He has been filmed attacking women for wearing perfume, in support of
sharia values and talking about harsh Sharia practices such as flogging.
In an interview about homosexuality Khan also called for gays to be hurled from a mountain
He said: ‘Now what is the punishment? According to the Bible, excuse
me, this is a Christian country. Read the history of this country.
Christian country. According to the Bible, the Bible says the person
should be thrown down from a mountain and then stoned on top of that.
‘That’s what Isa [Jesus] told you people. But they teach “no, you’re
homophobic”. And those Christians who stand up against this abominable
action, which goes against humanity, then they’re fundamentalists like
us as well then.
'I’m not homophobic. I believe in a natural way of life. I’m repeating
you what your Bible tells you. In the hadith you find, “You find the
people doing the action of Lot, kill the one who does the action and the
one the action is being done to.”’
The campaign group Hope Not Hate have contacted the center to outline
their concerns about these anti-gay views to ask them if such
individuals should be speaking in their establishment.
They state they 'believe it is important to be consistent' in their
opposition to hate speech: ‘Just as we would speak out against
right-wing homophobes, so too must we voice our opposition to those in
any community or faith who vocalise violence and even death against
others.’
The event’s Facebook page shows only 64 confirmed guests and 39 ‘maybes’ but another 3,388 have been invited.

The refusal by the politcal elites to address the problem -- the ideology -- leaves us more vulnerable. From the September 11th Muslim terrorists, or the underwear bomber, or the Muslim doctors behind the failed jihadi attack on the main terminal at Glasgow Airport, or the US major at Fort Hood, etc. -- it's not the wallet of the Muslim that is of consequence, but his/her piety.
Study after study has shown that jihadis are wealthier
and better educated than their peers. But we keep throwing money at the
problem. The recipients, however, just think of it as jizya, the money
that non-Muslims must pay the Muslims as per Qur'an 9:29, and continue
waging jihad. "Kerry: Potential Terror Recruits Need ‘More Economic
Opportunities,’" by Patrick Goodenough for CNS News, September 30 (thanks to Robert Spencer):
(CNSNews.com) – Launching a new global counter-terror fund,
Secretary of State John Kerry spoke of the importance of “providing more
economic opportunities for marginalized youth at risk of recruitment” –
although much research has debunked the notion of a link between
poverty and Islamist terrorism.
At a meeting in New York Friday of the Global Counterterrorism Forum
(GCTF), Kerry and his Turkish counterpart Ahmet Davutoglu unveiled a
$200 million initiative designed to leverage public and private funding
in support of what the GCTF calls “countering violent extremism” (CVE)
efforts.
The aim of the first-of-its-kind fund, known formally as the “Global
Fund for Community Engagement and Resilience,” is to support local
communities and organizations to counter extremist ideology and promote
tolerance.
“It’s about challenging the narrative of violence that is used to
justify the slaughtering of innocent people,” Kerry told the meeting of
ministers from the 29 countries making up the GCTF.
But alongside the ideological issue Kerry also raised the notion of economic factors.
“Getting this right isn’t just about taking terrorists off the
street,” he said. “It’s about providing more economic opportunities for
marginalized youth at risk of recruitment. In country after country, you
look at the demographics – Egypt, the West Bank – 60 percent of the
young people either under the age of 30 or under the age of 25, 50
percent under the age of 21, 40 percent under the age of 18, all of them
wanting jobs, opportunity, education, and a future.”
Researchers have noted that some of the most prominent jihadist
terrorists over the past decade or more, far from being driven by
desperation and a lack of economic opportunity, are educated members of
their societies.
Osama bin Laden was the son of a billionaire businessman, Ayman
al-Zawahiri is a physician and Khalid Sheikh Mohammed has an engineering
degree.
A similar pattern was evident in south-east Asia, where key members
of the al-Qaeda-linked Jemaah Islamiah (JI) terror network were
well-educated men.
In a study of Singapore’s experience in combating radical ideology
over the 2001-2011 decade, researchers from the country’s S. Rajaratnam
School of International Studies observed that they included Yazid
Sufaat, a Malaysian former army captain and businessman (who in 2000
provided lodging in Kuala Lumpur to two of the 9/11 hijackers and was
later involved in a foiled Singapore bomb plot).
Others were JI bomb expert Azahari Husin, a university lecturer in
Malaysia with a doctorate in engineering, killed in 2005; wanted JI
fugitive Zulkifli Abdul Hir, a U.S.-trained engineer; Noordin Mohammed
Top, a university graduate who became Indonesia’s most-wanted terrorist
until killed in 2009; and other JI figures who hold degrees or
engineering diplomas.
According to a Rand Corporation report on counterterrorism, prepared for the Office of the Secretary of Defense in 2009, “Terrorists
are not particularly impoverished, uneducated, or afflicted by mental
disease. Demographically, their most important characteristic is
normalcy (within their environment). Terrorist leaders actually tend to
come from relatively privileged backgrounds.”
One of the authors of the RAND report, Darcy Noricks, also found that according to a number of academic studies, “Terrorists turn out to be more rather than less educated than the general population.”
“Education can encourage terrorism in several ways,” he wrote. “One
is that schools may be used simply as convenient recruiting hubs or, in
some cases, even as ‘mobilizing structures’ with the right mix of youth,
insulation from social control, and opportunities.
“Another is that schools may propagate violent ideology and expand
the context in which the use of violence is considered appropriate and
desirable.”
The GCTF itself recognizes to some degree that the poverty-terror
link is questionable. A document on “good practices” for CVE, adopted
by the forum on Friday, notes that “research has rejected the thesis
that poverty begets violent extremism,” although it adds that “the gap
between the expectations and reality of an individual’s socioeconomic
status can be a condition conducive to violent extremism.”
It adds, for instance, that extremists may offer financial payments to individuals or their families.
When President Obama first took office, the Organization of Islamic
Cooperation (OIC), the bloc of mostly Muslim-majority states, sent him
an open letter attributing terrorism both to “political injustice” –
citing the Palestinian issue – but also to “deprivation, poverty [and]
despair.”
In earlier years, Obama himself is on record as making the terrorism-poverty link....
