The White House said it was “deeply disappointed” that Saudi Arabia denied a visa to a Jewish American reporter working for The Jerusalem Post.
Michael Wilner, the Israeli newspaper’s Washington bureau chief, planned to cover President Obama’s visit to Saudi Arabia this week.
“We are deeply disappointed that this credible journalist was denied a visa,” Bernadette Meehan, the spokeswoman for the National Security Council, told JTA in an email. “We will continue to register our serious concerns about this unfortunate decision.”
Meehan said Saudi Arabia and Israel do not have relations, but Wilner is a US citizen who has never lived in Israel.
Saudi Arabia previously has granted visas to journalists working for Israeli or Jewish news outlets.

WASHINGTON — President Obama dissed Russia as a “regional power” on Tuesday and said his bigger worry is a nuclear weapon going off in Manhattan.
Obama’s comment came at a press conference in the Netherlands, where he was asked if 2012 challenger Mitt Romney was right that Russia is the United States’ No. 1 political foe, in light of its absorption of Crimea.
“Russia’s actions are a problem. They don’t pose the No. 1 national security threat to the United States. I continue to be much more concerned when it comes to our security with the prospect of a nuclear weapon going off in Manhattan,” the president said.
Obama called Russia a “regional power that is threatening some of its immediate neighbors, not out of strength, but out of weakness,” while speaking with Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte after a nuclear security summit in The Hague.
The president claimed the Russian seizure of Crimea is “not a done deal” — but then added he had “no expectation that they will be dislodged by force.”
Obama called for the international community to require Russia to pay costs for its action, both to deter any further incursions and to punish its behavior, indicating the policy could be effective.
“History has a funny way in moving in twists and turns and not just in a straight line,” he said.
He said there would always be “bad things” going on in the world, and noted that the US hadn’t gone to war with Russia. He said Russia had a legal right to build up forces on its own territory, although he has discouraged escalation and called for talks with Ukraine.
“We’re not recognizing what has happened in Crimea,” he said.

A Bangladeshi man says he was lured to the U.S. with the promise of a “good” $3,000 a month job working for his country’s counsel general — and wound up spending 18 months in their luxury Manhattan apartments in “slavery-like conditions.”
In papers filed in Manhattan Federal Court, Mashud Parves Rana says consul general Monirul Islam and his wife, Fahima Tahsina Prova, forced him to work from 6:30 am to 11 pm, seven days a week for 18 months — and never paid him a dime.
They kept the man “in forced labor in slavery-like conditions” in their sprawling, $8,000-a-month W. 57th St. apartment, the suit says, barring him “from leaving their residence under his own volition, threatening to beat him or kill him, threatening that the police will arrest him or kill him if he left their residence, physically assaulting him on at least two occasions, (and) maintaining possession over Mr. Rana’s passport and visa,” says the suit.
Among his tasks, the suit says, was cooking the family’s food from scratch, washing their clothes by hand, supervising their 11-year-old son and cleaning the apartment daily.
“Mr. Rana would complete his daily tasks by approximately 11:00 pm each night. However, if defendants were attending an event outside of the house, Mr. Rana was required to wait for them to return to let them in and prepare a late meal for them. On these occasions, Mr. Rana did not finish work until approximately 1 am.
“Several times per month, defendants hosted parties and gatherings in their home, for which Mr. Rana was required to cook for all of the guests, and to clean up after the guests left. On these occasions, Mr. Rana did not finish his work until at least 3 a.m.,” the suit says — and he was also required to cook for events at the Bangladesh Consulate on E. 43rd St.
He wasn’t allowed to cook for himself, however – the suit says he was only allowed to eat expired or leftover food.
Rana was introduced to the high-powered diplomat by his step-father, who’d grown up with Islam and had recommended him as a domestic worker for his posting in the United States, the filing says.
He was told he’d be paid $3,000 a month for his services, would get some time off every day and the couple would help him renew his visa.
The suit says he took his first ever plane flight to come to New York in September 2012, and found out after he arrived the job was far different than advertised.
Calls and emails to the Bangladesh consulate were not immediately returned.

One of the perpetrators of an attack against Turkish gendarmes in the Central Anatolian province of Niğde last week reportedly expressed no remorse for his act  during his testimony in court after being captured by police.
“I did a good deed by killing the Turkish gendarmerie soldier,” the perpetrator identified as Ç.R., a Swiss national who was first reported as being from Kosovo, told police, according to Doğan News Agency.
The attack on March 20 left three dead and five injured, including a Turkish gendarmerie soldier and a police officer. All of the assailants, captured within hours, are suspected of being members of the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL), which is linked with al-Qaeda.
“I don’t render an account to anyone but Allah. I will not give any testimony. You are all pagans,” he was also quoted as saying. He also reportedly said Turkey was considered an “enemy” for being a NATO member.
Meanwhile, the driver of the assailants’ pickup truck, identified as B.X., denied being a part of the shooting and being a member of any organization. He reportedly explained he was accompanying Ç.R., whom he did not know before, on his way back to Kosovo.
“When [Ç.R.] saw the checkpoint, he directed his gun behind my back and started to open fire. When I asked him what happened, he shouted at me, telling me to drive the truck. I was under the influence of drugs when the incident happened. I did not see if any police or gendarmerie soldiers were shot or not,” he reportedly said.
A third assailant M.Z., a national of Macedonia, was also arrested by the court.
Following the attack, Turkish officers said the information they received pointed to Syrian links.
“Some people might want to cause unrest before the elections,” Deputy Prime Minister Beşir Atalay had claimed.

Cairo University students reportedly tried to rip the clothes off a blonde woman as she walked across the campus, sparking outrage across the nation.
The unnamed woman, who was wearing a long-sleeved pink top and fitted black jeans, was recently filmed being abused by a large group of male students as she made her way through the university, one of Egypt’s largest.
The men, some of whom were reportedly law students, went wild, wolf-whistling and jeering as she hurried to get away from them.

‘This girl entered the university wearing an abaya (loose cloak) and then took it off in the faculty, and appeared with those clothes, that caused, in reality… the incident,’ Nassar said on private Egyptian channel ONTV. Most of Cairo University’s female students wear jeans and tops and avoid revealing clothes, and many wear the traditional Islamic headscarves, as do the majority of Egypt’s women.
Nassar later wrote on Twitter that he was misunderstood and that he was not blaming the student for the incident.
‘I assure that this is not true and I apologise for the misunderstanding and I repeat that those who (harassed the girl) will be severely punished,’ he wrote.
Mr Farid added: ‘The worst is that people always find justification for the harassment and blame it on the victim.’

Flight MH370 crashed into the Indian Ocean in an apparent suicide mission, well-placed sources revealed have revealed, as Malaysia’s prime minister announced that everyone on the missing aircraft had died.
The team investigating the Boeing 777’s disappearance believe no malfunction or fire was capable of causing the aircraft’s unusual flight or the disabling of its communications system before it veered wildly off course on a seven-hour silent flight into the sea. An analysis of the flight’s routing, signalling and communications shows that it was flown “in a rational way”.
An official source told The Telegraph that investigators believe “this has been a deliberate act by someone on board who had to have had the detailed knowledge to do what was done … Nothing is emerging that points to motive.”
Asked about the possibility of a plane malfunction or an on-board fire, the source said: “It just does not hinge together… [The investigators] have gone through processes you do to get the plane where it flew to for eight hours. They point to it being flown in a rational way.”
On Monday the worst fears of the families of the 239 people on board were realised when Najib Razak, Malaysia’s prime minister, announced that no one could have survived.
The UK Air Accidents Investigation Branch and the British satellite firm Inmarsat provided information that led to his conclusions, but Britain was also caught in the middle of an international blame game over delays in the right search area being pinpointed.
Relatives of the missing passengers are angry that Inmarsat worked out within 24 hours that MH370 was likely to have crashed where the search is now concentrated, but it took a further 10 days for rescue teams to act on the information.
Despite no confirmed sightings of wreckage, Mr Razak revealed that new analysis by the AAIB and Inmarsat showed the plane ended its eight-hour flight on March 8 in the deep, remote waters of the Indian Ocean, about 1,500 miles west of Perth, with no survivors.
“This is a remote location, far from any possible landing sites,” he said.
“It is therefore with deep sadness and regret that I must inform you that, according to this new data, flight MH370 ended in the southern Indian Ocean.”
At a hotel in Beijing, some family members fainted amid an outpouring of anger and grief as the agonising wait to learn the fate of the flight ended with the news they most feared. For some it came via a text message from Malaysia Airlines.
They later delivered a scathing denunciation of Malaysia Airlines and the Malaysian government, branding them “the real executioners” of the MH370 passengers.
But some continued to cling on to hope, pointing to the continued failure to find the plane. “No confirmed wreckage, so no real closure,” said Sarah Bajc, whose American partner Philip Wood was on board.
The flight remains shrouded in mystery and misinformation. Malaysia Airlines revealed for the first time yesterday that Fariq Abdul Hamid, the 27-year-old co-pilot, was on his first flight aboard a Boeing 777 as a fully-approved pilot. Fariq joined the airline seven years ago and had flown 2,763 hours but was only on his sixth flight in the cockpit of a 777 – and his first without a check pilot overseeing him.
But analysts said the co-pilot’s inexperience in a 777 cockpit would probably not have posed a risk.
Somewhat surprisingly, Malaysia Airlines said last night its “prayers go out to all the loved ones of the 226 passengers and of our 13 friends and colleagues” – even though the passenger manifest shows 227 passengers and 12 crew. The airline has not yet explained the discrepancy.
A naval vessel was last night on its way to locate two pieces of debris spotted by an Australian air force aircraft, one orange and rectangular, one seven feet long by eight inches across and grey or green and cylindrical. In recent days, numerous floating objects have been spotted but none has yet been confirmed as wreckage.
The 26-nation search has covered half the globe from Australia to Kazakhstan and followed the plane’s disappearance during a routine flight from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing. The aircraft issued no distress calls and – somewhat suspiciously – it vanished at the moment that its absence was least likely to raise alarm bells, just as it was passing over from Malaysian to Vietnamese air traffic controllers.
Malaysian authorities have come under intense criticism for their handling of the ordeal, including claims they hid information and bungled the search.
Foreign intelligence agencies have conducted two rounds of checks on the passengers and found nothing suspicious about any. Nor have any leads emerged from an intensive police investigation into the two prime suspects, Zaharie Ahmad Shah, the 53-year-old pilot, and Fariq. Neither has any known background of extremism or psychological problems.
Police have interviewed more than a hundred friends and family members of the pilots, conducted a forensic investigation of a flight simulator seized from Zaharie’s home, combed through their laptops and flying records, and enlisted the help of the FBI and Interpol. But a source involved in the police investigation told The Telegraph: “We are still clueless. We have not collected anything suspicious.”

(CNSNews.com) - Donald Rumsfeld, who served as U.S. Defense Secretary under President George W. Bush, blames poor diplomacy by the Obama administration for the current strained relations with Afghan President Hamid Karzai.
“Our relationship with Karzai and with Afghanistan was absolutely first-rate in the Bush administration,” Rumsfeld told Fox News’s Greta Van Susteren on Monday. “It has gone down hill like a toboggan ever since the Obama administration came in.”
Rumsfeld pointed to the fact that the Obama administration has failed to get Karzai to sign an agreement that would allow some U.S. troops to remain in Afghanistan after 2014, when combat ends.
The U.S. has status of forces agreements with more than a hundred countries, Rumsfeld noted. “A trained ape can get a status of forces agreement,” he said. “It does not take a genius. And we have so mismanaged that relationship.”

The FBI agent fired three or four shots at Todashev as he advanced on the trooper, and Todashev dropped to his knees but then lunged at the officer, and the FBI agent fired three or four more shots, the report said.
“The one common thread among all was the observation that he was, at his core, a fearless fighter,” Ashton said in a letter to FBI Director James Comey. “Perhaps on this occasion, he simply reverted to that basic aspect of his personality and chose to go down fighting.”

ORLANDO, Fla. – A Florida prosecutor says a friend of one of the Boston marathon suspects threatened an FBI agent and a Massachusetts state trooper with a long pole before the Chechen man was fatally shot.
State Attorney Jeff Ashton said in a report Tuesday the agent was justified in shooting Ibragim Todashev last May. The agent and the trooper were questioning Todashev about his involvement in a triple slaying in Waltham, Mass. Todashev was preparing a written statement confessing some involvement when he threw a coffee table on the officers and ran past them.
The report says Todashev was searching for something in his kitchen, and he returned carrying a pole over his head. He was then shot by the agent.

Separately, the U.S. Justice Department also concluded Tuesday that there was no basis for federal criminal charges against the FBI agent. The federal inquiry echoed the Florida report in saying that Todashev implicated himself in the triple-murder.
Federal authorities have said in court filings that Todashev also implicated Tsarnaev in the Waltham slayings, but the Justice Department report said the details of the confession were not being released publicly at the request of prosecutors in Massachusetts. The Justice Department report said both men shared an interest in mixed martial arts and were suspected in the Waltham murders.
In the Waltham case, three men were found in an apartment with their necks slit and their bodies reportedly covered with marijuana. One of the victims was a boxer and friend of Tsarnaev, who had befriended Todashev when Todashev lived in Boston.
In the Florida shooting, the FBI agent from Boston and two Massachusetts State Police officers had questioned Todashev at his apartment for five hours before the fatal shooting, the report said. The FBI had become interested in Todashev in the days after the Boston marathon bombing last April because he was friends with one of the suspects Tsarnaev. By then, Todashev also had become a “person of interest” in the Waltham slayings, according to the report, and FBI agents had questioned him several times in the weeks before he was killed.
Todashev’s family has raised doubts about the account provided by law enforcement, saying that Todashev was recovering from knee surgery and was limping at the time he was killed.
Hassan Shibly, executive director of the Council on American-Islamic Relations in Tampa, which is conducting its own investigation into the fatal shooting, said Ashton’s investigative focus was very narrow.
“It’s very important that this isn’t whether the agent was justified in shooting,” Shibly said. “It’s about the pattern of abuse that occurred before, during and after the questioning. That won’t be covered in a criminal investigation.”
Todashev’s live-in girlfriend and other friends been deported since the shooting.

Brandeis University never should have partnered with these Jew-haters to begin with. Brandeis has a problem with pro-jihad, anti-Israel activism. It didn’t take long for Brandeis University to “resume” talks. The resumption of high-level discussions between the universities comes barely two months after Brandeis president Fred Lawrence publicly suspended the relationship with the school following an Islamic Jihad rally at its campus in Abu Dis.
At the time, Lawrence said Al-Quds president Sari Nusseibeh did not adequately condemn the rally, which featured men dressed in military garb trampling on the Israeli flag and holding their hands in Nazi-style salutes. (here)

The Al-Quds university authorities have consistently misled everyone (and some gullible journalists have repeated their assertions without question) that last November’s Fascist-style rally on the university campus (organized with the full cooperation of the university authorities) was a one off-event, when in fact there were several such rallies last year. Palestinian students at the university whom I spoke to yesterday, who say they are sick and tired of the university authorities allowing terrorist groups to hold military parades around campus, tell me the rally lasted for about two hours and involved hundreds of students. One of those many westerners who helps fund programs at Al-Quds university is George Soros, and I am told by one of his assistants that Soros has looked at my previous dispatches on this subject and has already threatened to cut his funding. Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan defended his government’s ban on Twitter in a rally on March 25, while also calling on people not to write anything on the ballots.
“They are making up things about me, that’s for sure.”
Addressing a rally of the ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP) supporters in the northern city of Kastamonu, Erdoğan accused several accounts held on Twitter of violating the personal rights of many people, including himself and his ministers by delivering fake voice recordings, allegedly belonging to him and other officials.
“We are not against the use of advanced technology, but unlawful use of it is not acceptable,” said Erdoğan. Erdoğan also urged people not to write anything on the ballots, saying it would make their votes invalid. He also accused the U.S.-based Islamic scholar Fethullah Gülen’s movement of being against the Kurdish peace process.

Erdoğan said the prosecutors linked to Gülen had released accounts of talks between Turkish officials and the outlawed Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) in the Norwegian capital of Oslo, and had attempted to arrest the chief of the Turkish Intelligence Agency (MİT).
Erdoğan also alleged that MİT officials were manhandled by gendarmerie as an MİT truck was stopped on its way to Syria last month: “The MİT personnel were forced to lie down and were kicked by several officers, even the security officers of a foreign army would not do that, but the ‘parallel state’ did,” he said.
Touching upon the downing of a Syrian warplane by Turkish F-16 jets on March 23, Erdoğan claimed that it was “interesting” the main opposition Republican People’s Party (CHP) leader reacted to it before the Syrian regime.
“The CHP leader defends the Baath regime because they are not different,” said Erdoğan.

Christian protesters demanded that the EU act on their own cry for human rights and fight for the Christians throughout the Middle East, who are quickly becoming extinct everywhere but Israel.
The U.S. is “the chief facilitator of the persecution of Christians around the world today according to this report.” It is astonishing that this is what the United States would devolve to in the 21st century.
According to the recently released 2014 World Watch List, which ranks the 50 nations where Christians are most persecuted, Syria is the third worst nation in the world in which to be Christian, Iraq is fourth, Afghanistan fifth, and Libya 13th. All four countries receive the strongest designation, “extreme persecution” (other designations are “severe,” “moderate,” and “sparse” persecution).
Where is the worldwide outcry against this unspeakable evil? The millions of victims of jihad must speak in one voice and cry, Defeat these supremacist savages.

TEL AVIV - One hundred fifty Christian citizens of Israel demonstrated Sunday, March 23, outside the European Union’s delegation in Tel Aviv against the EU’s silence in relation to what they termed “the ethnic cleansing of Christians throughout the Middle East.” The protesters demanded that the EU act on their own cry for human rights and fight for the Christians throughout the Middle East, who are quickly becoming extinct everywhere but Israel.
Father Gabriel Nadaf, a Greek Orthodox priest from Nazareth and strong proponent of Christian enlistment in the IDF, demanded that the attacks on Christians be stopped and thanked Israel for being a warm home for Christians.
Shadi Halul, spokesman of the Christian Lobby (CL) which organized the protest, stated: “We have witnessed in the past how the world was silent as six million Jews were slaughtered. Here in Israel, where we are enabled freedom of worship, protection and a normal life, we have decide to cry out and call on the European Union to safeguard human rights in Israel and throughout the world. Become active, do not repeat past mistakes. We constantly receive reports from our Christian brethren throughout the Middle East imploring that they be helped, envious of our status as Israeli citizens.”
Last week the Christian Lobby sent a letter to the EU Ambassador in Israel and 18 other western Ambassadors protesting inaction. “We, the members of the Christian Lobby in Israel, found it appropriate to turn to you and cry out about the human and citizens’ rights condition of our Christian brothers across the Middle East. The slaughter, persecution, discrimination, apartheid, the ethnic cleansing, and all the crimes committed against the Indigenous Aramaic & Christians of the Middle East, in Egypt, Syria, Iraq, Gaza, Lebanon and the Palestinian Authority, among others, and continue to be committed without any intervention of the Western countries,” the letter states.
In the Letter the CL demand that the EU take action. “We are turning to you as someone who represents a Western country, which engraved the values of human and citizens’ rights on its flag. Get up and take action. Prove to the slaughtered and the persecuted, and to yourselves, that you believe in those values and act accordingly, wholeheartedly, and not half way.”
They further attack the EU for their double standards regarding Israel. “The lack of taking real steps by the European and Western countries and the continuation of the horrifying condition pales, opposed to the double standards and the hypocrisy of Europe and the West towards the State of Israel, the Jewish and democratic country that provides freedom of religion, human rights and defense to every religious and ethnic minority. There is no doubt that the safest and most free place for Christians, as well as other minorities in the Middle East, is the State of Israel… the lack of steps taken for the Christians in the Arab countries, in the Middle East, bring into question the sincerity of the declarations and intentions of the European and Western countries regarding human rights and humanism. It seems that the treatment towards Israel is a cover up for the failure of the west in the Middle East, failures that allow the continuing of the crimes and atrocities against Christians.”
“From here, from the State of Israel, a state that was established by a nation that was persecuted and slaughtered while the world stood by and watched, we the members of the Israeli Christian lobby are calling out “no more,” we will no longer be silent. No more to the abandonment of Christians in the Middle East. No more to the double standards and hypocrisy. And yes to taking action for the persecuted Christian minority. We are demanding the involvement of your country to stop the ethnic cleansing committed against the Eastern Christian nation in the Arab countries and the Middle East,” the letter concludes.
A recent study warns that Christianity is at the risk of being wiped out in the biblical heartlands of the Middle East. According to the London Daily Telegraph, which cites the study, 10% of Christians worldwide – approximately 200 million – are “socially disadvantaged, harassed or actively oppressed for their beliefs.” With over 2.3 billion Christians around the world, the study notes that Christians face the most persecution in the region of the world where Christianity first originated – the Middle East.

This is true and long overdue. And while the President is most assuredly islamophiliac and anti-Christian, Obama is not the biggest threat to Christianity. Islamic supremacism is.

Part of the problem is the silence of the Christian leadership, and the pope gives papal sanction to the savage. While his flock is being slaughtered across the world, the Pope said, “Authentic Islam and the proper reading of the Koran are opposed to every form of violence.” Nuts.
The Supreme Court will hear a landmark case today. The Hobby Lobby’s refusal to implement the anti-Christian parts of Obamacare. I’d like to see the Supreme Court uphold religious liberty and rout Obamacare in one ruling. Perhaps the Vatican Chief Justice spoke to this at such a time.

VATICAN CITY (CBS St. Louis) — The Vatican’s chief justice feels that President Barack Obama’s policies have been hostile toward Christians.
In an interview with Polonia Christiana magazine –and transcribed by Life Site News — Cardinal Raymond Burke said that Obama “promotes anti-life and anti-family policies.”
“It is true that the policies of the president of the United States have become progressively more hostile toward Christian civilization. He appears to be a totally secularized man who aggressively promotes anti-life and anti-family policies,” Burke told the magazine.
The former archbishop of St. Louis stated that Obama is trying to “restrict” religion.
“Now he wants to restrict the exercise of the freedom of religion to freedom of worship, that is, he holds that one is free to act according to his conscience within the confines of his place of worship but that, once the person leaves the place of worship, the government can constrain him to act against his rightly-formed conscience, even in the most serious of moral questions,” Burke said.
Burke took a swipe against Obama’s Affordable Care Act over the law’s birth control mandate, saying “such policies would have been unimaginable in the United States even 40 years ago.”
“In a democracy, such a lack of awareness is deadly,” Burke told the magazine. “It leads to the loss of the freedom which a democratic government exists to protect. It is my hope that more and more of my fellow citizens, as they realize what is happening, will insist on electing leaders who respect the truth of the moral law as it is respected in the founding principles of our nation.”
Burke also believes there is hope that abortion will be overturned in the U.S.
“There is hope that the evil anti-life laws of the United States can be overthrown and that the anti-life movement which urges yet more of such legislation can be resisted,” Burke said. “The pro-life movement in the United States has been working since 1973 to reverse the unjust decision of the Supreme Court which struck down state laws prohibiting procured abortion. It is true that the Supreme Court decision stands, but it is also true that the pro-life movement has grown ever stronger in the United States, that is, that more and more citizens, especially young citizens, have been awakened to the truth about the grave evil of procured abortion.”
Pope Francis removed Burke from the Congregation for Bishops last December.
Obama will be meeting Pope Francis for the first time at the Vatican on Thursday.

Those whom their “right hands own” are slaves, and inextricable from the concept of Islamic slavery as a whole is the concept of sex slavery, which is rooted in Islam’s devaluation of the lives of non-Muslims. The Qur’an stipulates that a man many take four wives as well as hold slave girls as sex slaves. These women are captured in wartime and are considered the spoils of war. Islam avoids the appearance of impropriety, declaring that the taking of these sex slaves does not constitute adultery if the women are already married, for their marriages are ended at the moment of their capture. A manual of Islamic law directs: “When a child or a woman is taken captive, they become slaves by the fact of capture, and the woman’s previous marriage is immediately annulled” (Reliance of the Traveller, o9.13; Source, Robert Spencer).

Under pressure from political correctness, authorities have allowed Muslim pedophile gangs in the United Kingdom to groom underage girls for sexual abuse for decades, victimizing as many as 10,000 schoolgirls, according to a report by an organization calling for an investigation.
“What we believe is required is a full-scale public inquiry,” the Law and Freedom Foundation said in the conclusion of its 300-plus page report, “Easy Meat: Multiculturalism, Islam and Child Sex Slavery.”
The group said the public inquiry “must look into the failures of national agencies, child-care charities, and academics to study this problem.”
“The inquiry must look into what police forces knew and when they knew these things. Is it true that Lancashire police knew about grooming gang activities in the 1970s? How much information did they have, and how credible was it? Why has the problem of the grooming of Sikh girls by these gangs been kept off the national agenda from 1988 to 2013? Did Islamic fundamentalist organizations encourage Muslim men to go out and deceive and groom non-Muslim women?”
The foundation said its report examines the grooming gangs activities, the connection to Islam and the scale of the problem.
The report says that 20 years ago, child-care professionals dealing with the victims made recommendations that could have protected the victims, but the steps have never been implemented.
The report, authored by Peter McLoughlin, says all sexual abuse of children is horrible, but the “phenomenon of gangs of men who loiter with impunity around schoolgirls, luring them into a life of addiction and prostitution is a distinct category of child sexual abuse, but a category that the authorities in Britain have deliberately ignored for 25 years.”
The report says the Muslim community has refused to condemn the crimes and to inform police that they were going on.
“Political correctness would be used to make sure that people did not speak about this phenomenon, enabling the perpetrators free rein to sexually abuse schoolgirls for decades. Yes, decades. We know that in an age where parents are not allowed to smack their children, this sounds unbelievable,” the report says.
Even though some details have appeared in reports over the last year or two, the full extent of the problem is stunning, the report says.
“In England, this epidemic of child-rape by grooming gangs has been going on since at least 1988,” it says. “Despite more than a decade of disinformation by child-care professionals, academics, and political activists, the earliest claims (1988 to 2003) were that the gangs were overwhelmingly Muslim. This massive over-representation of Muslim men in this crime spree has been borne out by the prosecutions of the last three to four years, but it is clear that it must have been known long ago and should have been made public.
“Because the predators were Muslims, the agencies who are responsible for child-protection have almost entirely failed in their job to protect vulnerable children. From a fear of being called ‘racist,’ police forces across the country have buried the evidence,” the report says.
The organization believes its analysis “will show that there are indeed prima facie reasons for considering Islamic doctrine to be at the root of this problem, both in Britain and in the Netherlands.”
Schoolgirls are lured by money and presents, flattered by compliments and by being taken into a world of adults.
The girls then are introduced to drugs and alcohol.
“And one she is manipulated into considering the initial, alluring youth as her ‘boyfriend,’ she will be persuaded/coerced into having sex with his relatives/friends,” the report says. “From there it is a downward spiral of rape and prostitution, often with the schoolgirl suffering severe mental and physical pain, even torture.”
The girls stay because of threats that their homes will be bombed or their mothers will be gang-raped or worse.
The report cites a counselor who told of a girl who had her tongue nailed to a table when she told a grooming gang that she would go to the police.
The pimps often end up making more than $1,000 a day from the girls they prostitute, the report says, or up to about $300,000 a year.
Many of the victims, for a time, were Sikh girls, and it was alleged police knew but did nothing, so Sikh men took the law into their own hands.
“The convicted men were Muslim, the girl was Sikh, and some of the abuse had indeed taken place at the restaurant the Sikhs attacked,” the report says. “Furthermore, if the police did know about the crimes, it is clear that nothing was being done about this, before the Sikhs attacked the restaurant: the predatory Muslim men were only prosecuted once the Sikhs had drawn attention to these crimes by taking the law into their own hands.”
In fact, Sikhs were prosecuted for trying to stop the Muslim grooming gangs.
However, there is no sign that the police, the media or the child-care professionals took any notice of the Sikh’s allegations of sex slavery, the report says.
The report also said it has not been revealed where there was “one case where it was non-Muslim men grooming Muslim girls” … despite the fact 95 percent of men in Britain are not Muslims.
The report traces the gangs to Islamic doctrine, stating that not only “are Muslim men permitted legally and morally to rape their slaves, but they are also forgiven if they turn a slave girl into a prostitute,” citing the Quran, which says “do not compel your slave girls to prostitution, when they desire to keep chaste, in order to seek the frail goods of this world’s life; and whoever compels them, then surely after their compulsion Allah is forgiving, merciful.”
The report concludes it’s clear that “these kind of Islamic views easily lend themselves to Muslim men seeing women as objects, to be controlled and dominated by men.”
“It would lead them to believe that if some non-Muslim woman within their control could be prostituted, there would be no moral or legal consequences for them within an Islamic worldview,” the report says.
It notes that over the last five decades, the Muslim population of the U.K. has on averaged doubled every 10 years.
“Assuming that nothing happens to deter Muslims from committing this form of crime (and remember, it is very lucrative and there is a 25 year history of most of the perpetrators escaping justice), then every decade we can assume that the number of grooming gangs will be double the number of the previous decade.”
According to the Gatestone Institute, the report was “meticulously documented” and warned that it makes clear the “massive over-representation of Muslim men in this crime spree.”
