These Muslim attacks against Jews in France are daily now. A few days ago I posted a video of Jews being attacked in broad daylight at a vigil for the three kidnapped Israeli teens by Hamas in Israel. The weekend before last, there was a series of Muslim attacks on Jews in France; “Dirty Jews” “We’re the Muslims, we will blow you up.” Paris cops threatened with guns outside synagogue, 14-year-old Jewish girl attacked, Jewish couple targeted on Metro by Muslim mob.

The wave of anti-Semitic violence continues to rock French Jewry, as a gang of 20 attackers on Monday reportedly assaulted visibly Jewish students wearing kippot (yarmulkes) at a local library in the capital city of Paris.
The assailants, described by reports as being of North African descent and therefore likely Muslim immigrants, approached the Jewish students from two directions in the library, pouncing on them and beating them until they were bloody.
The Jewish students ran from the scene, and in the process two students were stabbed, leaving them with light wounds.
Security personnel at the library got involved and called up the police, who were able to arrest several of the attackers and bring them in for investigation.
The attack comes after a rally in Paris supporting the three Israel teens who were kidnapped by Hamas terrorists two weeks ago came under attack last Thursday. The anti-Semitic attackers hurled flares at the rally, scattering the participants; several of the attackers were arrested.
The recent attacks are just the latest in a long string of escalating anti-Semitic violence.
Two Saturdays ago, attackers reportedly approached a Paris synagogue in the city’s 20th District armed with an AK-47 assault rifle and a handgun.
According to reports they began aiming their guns at bystanders and the building itself and pretended to open fire, but fled the scene when they saw armed French police officers guarding the synagogue. Reports say they escaped on a scooter.
The Saturday prior to that, two visibly Jewish teenagers wearing kippot report being sprayed with tear gas in Sarcelles, a northern suburb of Paris, by North African assailants. A week before that, two other Jewish teenagers, aged 14 and 15, narrowly escaped an axe-wielding man of Arab appearance in another Paris suburb.

A gang of men attacked an American student while he was drinking in the street – grabbing a glass bottle from his hands and smashing it over his head, a court was told.
Francesco Hounye, 23, from Florida, had been in Britain for just three days when he was set upon by the men while he was walking home with a friend in Shadwell, east London.
Shaleem Uddin, 20, Shadhat Hussain, 19, Kamrul Hussain, 22, and Massom Rahman, 22, targeted Mr Hounye when they saw him swigging from a bottle of Jagermeister.
They then chased him, beat him, and smashed the bottle over his head, Snaresbrook Crown Court heard.
CCTV footage shows Mr Hounye being kicked mercilessly as he lay crouched in the road.
The student suffered extensive injuries – including a smashed eye socket.
A fourth man, Samad Uddin, 24, is on trial for grievous bodily harm after the four others admitted their roles in the attack.
Uddin claims he is a victim of mistaken identity.
Paul Casey, prosecuting, said: ‘This case involves a group attack involving all five of these men on one person, Mr Francesco Hounye.
‘The prosecution’s case, in a nutshell, is that he was caused injuries, really serious injuries – grievous bodily harm.
All of them were willingly involved in that attack, all of them played a part.
‘Two in particular played the most serious role, Shaleem Uddin and Samad Uddin.
‘Shaleem Uddin used the bottle to strike Mr Hounye over the head, causing him severe cuts to the side of his head.
‘Immediately prior to that, Samad Uddin and a number of others were involved trying to wrestle the bottle from Mr Hounye.’
‘During the course of the attack Samad Uddin aimed a number of kicks to Mr Hounye whilst he was prone on the ground, including one which CCTV shows his right foot connecting with some force with Mr Hounye’s head.’
Mr Hounye, who was too terrified to go out in London after the incident and has since returned to Florida, was attacked while with a friend on New Road, east London, on June 17 last year.
Mr Casey continued: ‘Both of them had been drinking alcohol and Mr Hounye had a bottle of liquor with him – the brand was Jagermeister.
‘They passed a group of young males and this group of young males – principally the five defendants – attempted to speak to the two men.
‘The two men perceived their attitude and body language to be threatening and intimidating so they continued on their way.’

But the gang pursued the pair of friends down the road and to the junction with Commercial Road.
‘When they reached the junction the two men stopped and they attempted to speak to the men who were following them.
‘The two men were confronted and surrounded.’
In the CCTV footage a man said to be Samad Uddin can be seen taking hold of Mr Hounye’s shoulder.
The victim was then grabbed from behind by a second male and other members of the gang wrestled the bottle from his clutches.
‘The first punches are thrown at Mr Hounye, the bottle is wrestled from him, Shelim Hussain smashes him over the head with the bottle,’ said Mr Casey.
It is alleged that Samad Uddin is the man seen kicking Mr Hounye across the road after he broke free and attempted to flee.
Mr Hounye was then pounced on by the mob – with the student punched against the wall
‘He is kicked and punched by a man, the prosecution say is Samad Uddin,’ said Mr Casey.
Mr Hounye was crouching in the street while a thin figure, claimed to be Uddin, aiming a forceful kick to the side of his head.
The gang ran off when a passer-by intervened.
Uddin was arrested in April this year after he was recognised by a police officer who had seen the CCTV footage, the court was told.

Shaleem Uddin, of Whitechapel, has admitted GBH with intent.
Kamrul Hussain, also of Whitechapel, Shahdat Hussain, of Newham and Masoom Hussain of Whitechapel, have admitted causing grievous bodily harm.

“Federal judge rules US no-fly list violates Constitution,”
(Reuters) - The U.S. government’s no-fly list banning people accused of links to terrorism from commercial flights violates their constitutional rights because it gives them no meaningful way to contest that decision, a federal judge ruled on Tuesday.
U.S. District Judge Anna Brown, ruling in a lawsuit filed in federal court in Oregon by 13 Muslim Americans who were branded with the no-fly status, ordered the government to come up with new procedures that allow people on the no-fly list to challenge that designation.
“The court concludes international travel is not a mere convenience or luxury in this modern world. Indeed, for many international travel is a necessary aspect of liberties sacred to members of a free society,” Brown wrote in her 65-page ruling.
“Accordingly, on this record the court concludes plaintiffs inclusion on the no-fly list constitutes a significant deprivation of their liberty interests in international travel,” Brown said.
The 13 plaintiffs – four of them veterans of the U.S. military – deny they have links to terrorism and say they only learned of their no-fly status when they arrived at an airport and were blocked from boarding a flight.
The American Civil Liberties Union, which brought suit against the policy in 2010, argues that secrecy surrounding the list and lack of any reasonable opportunity for plaintiffs to fight their placement on it violates their clients’ constitutional rights to due process.
The government contends there is an adequate means of contesting the flight ban and that individuals listed under the policy may ultimately petition a U.S. appeals court directly for relief.
The no-fly list, established in 2003 in the aftermath of the September 11, 2001, attacks, bars those on it from flying within the United States or to and from the country. As of last year, it included some 20,000 people deemed by the FBI as having, or reasonably suspected of having, ties to terrorism, an agency spokesman said at the time. About 500 of them were U.S. citizens.

Malaysia’s Top Court Dismissed Catholic Church’s Request on Use of ‘Allah’
PUTRAJAYA, Malaysia—Malaysia’s top court on Monday dismissed the Roman Catholic Church’s request that it be allowed to appeal a ruling barring it from using “Allah” to refer to the Christian God in its newspaper.
The high-stakes case, which dates back seven years, has provoked strong feelings in the Muslim-majority country at a time when advocates of conservative Islam have been growing in influence.
The Catholic Church first brought a case in 2008 to try to overturn a determination by Malaysia’s then-home minister, Syed Hamid Albar, the year before that prohibited the Herald newspaper from using the word “Allah” to refer to the Christian God and argued it should be used solely by Muslims.
The minority Christian population had hoped that a win in the case would strengthen religious tolerance in a nation where Islam is the state religion.
An initial ruling in favor of the church in 2009 sparked mob vandalism and arson at both Christian and Muslim places of worship.
Last October, the Court of Appeal overturned the lower court’s ruling which said the Church had the constitutional right to use Allah. It ruled that the use of the word ‘Allah’ wasn’t an integral part of the Christian faith and therefore overturned the lower court ruling which said the Herald had the constitutional right to use the word Allah.
A three-member judicial panel concluded, “It is our common finding that the usage of the name ‘Allah’ isn’t an integral part of the faith and practice of Christianity.”
Some opponents accused the church of using the word “Allah” to try to convert Muslims to Christianity—an accusation church officials denied.
About 100 Muslims gathered on Monday outside the federal court building in Putrajaya, carrying banners and signs in the local Malay language which read, “Unite in defending the word Allah. Fight to the last drop of blood.”
Chief Justice Arifin Zakaria, writing for the 4-3 majority, said the Court of Appeal “applied the correct test, hence it is not open for us to interfere.”
Murray Hiebert, a senior fellow at the Center for Strategic and International Studies in Washington, D.C., said Monday’s ruling is a significant marker in Malaysia’s history toward religious minorities.
“This ruling suggests that Malaysia is moving further away from its long-standing religious policy of moderation toward increasing Islamization of the society,” Mr. Hiebert said. “It would appear that conservative Muslims are exerting greater influence over the country.”
(In 1999, Mr. Hiebert, then a journalist at a publication owned by Dow Jones & Co., which owns The Wall Street Journal, was jailed for several weeks by a Malaysian court after losing an appeal against a conviction in which a judge ruled that he “scandalized the courts” in an article he wrote.)
A spokesman for the government, which defended the exclusive use of “Allah” by Muslims, appeared to read the ruling as limited to the Herald newspaper—a key matter for other Christian groups.
“The government respects the decision of the court and asks all parties to abide by it. The ruling only applies to the Herald newspaper’s use of the word ‘Allah,’” the spokesman said.

This Muslim leader is part of Perkasa, a non-governmental Malay Islamic supremacy organization that was formed by Ibrahim Ali in the aftermath of the Malaysian general elections in 2008.

A Perkasa leader has threatened to “chop the heads off” those who “ridicule” Islam and the Selangor sultan.
In a fiery speech, Perkasa information chief Ruslan Kassim told those attending a rally in front of the Selangor palace for such “parasites” to “get lost”.
“If they continue to ridicule the religion and the sultan, we will chop off their heads.
“It is better they get lost, better they die, better they don’t live in this country than be a disease, a virus and a parasite on our religion, race and country,” he said.
Ruslan (right) was speaking at the rally to show thanks to Sultan Sharafudin Idris Shah for “defending the sanctity of Islam” and the actions of the Selangor Islamic authorities.
This is in relation to the Selangor Islamic Affairs Council’s (Mais) refusal to return the 321 copies of the Bible seized by the Selangor Islamic Affairs Department (Jais) from Bible Society Malaysia (BSM).
“Sometimes, we need the blood of martyrs and we are willing to die to defend the name of Allah, God willing,” he said to cheers.
According to UtusanOnline, about 200 people from various NGOs attended the rally in front of Istana Bukit Kayangan, Shah Alam. But the figure was later revised to 2,000.
PAS reps ‘rude, uncouth and discourteous’
The rally was also to protest the call by four PAS parliamentarians – Khalid Samad (Shah Alam), Dr Siti Mariah Mahmud (Kota Raja), Hanipa Maidin (Sepang) and Che Rosli Che Mat (Hulu Langat) – for Selangor to amend laws to clip Mais’ powers.
“Perkasa regards the action of the four MPs as rude, uncouth and discourteous in the context of Malay culture, what more it touched on the role and power of the Malay ruler as head of the Islam.
“It is apt that the four MPs be charged under the Sedition Act because their statement had impacted very badly on the Malay royal institution and belittled the role of Mais and Jais,” Bernama quoted Selangor Perkasa chief Abu Bakar Yahya as saying after the rally.
The two-hour gahering from 11am was also attended by Perkasa president Ibrahim Ali.
Prior to this, Attorney-General Abdul Gani Patail announced that prosecution would not be carried out over the seizure of bibles and the case was closed.
Subsequently, Selangor Menteri Besar Abdul Khalid Ibrahim ordered
Jais to return the copies to BSM.
However, Mais chairperson Mohamad Adzib Mohd Isa said the council disagreed with the directive on the basis that it was out of
the jurisdiction of the state government.
Yesterday, the Mais issued a statement to deny that the sultan endorsed the rally and that the sultan is now out of town.
Shaima and Kassim married in a refugee camp in Saudi Arabia in 1991, according to testimony. She was 11 or 12; he was 28 or 29.
Kassim Alhimidi was convicted of beating his wife Shaima Alawdi to death and sentenced to 25 years to life. It wasn’t just another horrible honor killing. It was much more than one murder; it was another kind of murder. After Shaima Alawadi was brutally beaten to death, the Alawadi family conspired to blame Americans who oppose jihad for her murder.
This was a family affair. And other members of the family should be tried and convicted.
Family members said they had found a note near Alawadi’s body calling them terrorists and telling the family to go back where they came from. They said they had found a similar note at their home weeks earlier, but they didn’t keep it or report it.

EL CAJON, California — An Iraqi immigrant was sentenced Monday to 25 years to life in prison for his wife’s fatal beating, which initially drew international condemnation when authorities believed it was a hate crime.
Kassim Alhimidi was sentenced in San Diego County Superior Court after yelling out to the courtroom audience that he is not guilty.
He entered the courtroom with his hands bound and yelled out, “I swear I’m not guilty,” and then yelled in Arabic to a son who was in court.
Deputies quickly removed him from the courtroom temporarily. After being sentenced, he yelled out that he would prefer to be sentenced to death and donate his organs.
The 2012 killing of Shaima Alawadi occurred at the couple’s home in the city of El Cajon, a suburb east of San Diego that is home to the second-largest Iraqi population in the United States.
The sentencing followed an emotional trial.
Alhimidi shook his head and wagged his finger as jurors delivered the guilty verdict. His oldest son shouted obscenities and proclaimed his father’s innocence before several deputies wrestled him out of the courtroom.
Another son also shouted in his father’s defense, while the victim’s mother said in Arabic that Alhimidi deserved worse, according to an official court translator.
“In Iraq, normally if he kills her, he is supposed to be killed in the same way,” Rehima Alhussanwi told reporters through the translator after Alhimidi’s conviction in April.
The couple’s eldest daughter found Alawadi, 32, in a pool of blood on the kitchen floor in March 2012, and she died two days later, suffering from multiple fractures to her head. A note found nearby read: “This is my country, go back to yours, you terrorist,” setting off a hate-crime investigation.
Muslim community leaders in the U.S. and Iraq initially condemned the attack against Alawadi, who wore a hijab and volunteered at a mosque. Investigators later determined the note was a photocopy of one found a week earlier outside the home.
Prosecutors indicated the note may have been planted by Alhimidi to steer the investigation away from him.
They say Alhimidi killed the mother of five because she wanted to divorce him and move to Texas. They argued Alhimidi lied to police about his troubled marriage and apologized to his wife as she lay dying in a hospital.
The jizya is an Islamic poll tax imposed on non-Muslims under Islamic rule. The jizya is required submission that Jews and Christians must pay to the Islamic state and its laws, in return for their lives. This exorbitant tax has been the bane of the existence of the dhimmis for 1,400 years. Throughout Islamic history the season of jizya has been vicious, violent, brutal.
A mother and daughter were raped in front of the husband and father because they were unable to pay the exorbitant tax. This is Sharia.

Mosul, Iraq (AINA) -- The Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) has begun to brutally enforce Islamic laws (AINA 2014-06-14) in Mosul, Iraq, which it overran on June 10.
Dr. Sallama Al Khafaji, a member of the Iraq High Commission for Human Rights, told AINA that on Saturday, June 21 ISIS began demanding a poll tax (jizya) from Christians in Mosul (AINA 2014-06-21). In one instance, ISIS members entered the home of an Assyrian family in Mosul and demanded the poll tax (jizya). When the Assyrian family said they did not have the money, three ISIS members raped the mother and daughter in front of the husband and father. The husband and father was so traumatized that he committed suicide.
“The Christians have told me that they cannot pay this tax,” said Dr. Al-Khafaji, “and they say ‘what am I to do, shall I kill myself?’”
According to the Arabic language website Alghadeer, four Christian women were shot and killed by ISIS members because they were not wearing veils. AINA has not confirmed this and this website is known to be administered by Shiites.

These hypocrites make my skin crawl, cloaking themselves in do-goody rhetoric when the victims of jihad suffer in silence. The persecution of religious minorities under Islamic law is the worst human rights crime our time — and we can’t talk about it for fear of offending savages.
Her crime? Meriam Ibrhaim was brought up as an Orthodox Christian, but a Sudanese judge ruled earlier this month that she should be regarded as Muslim because that had been her father’s faith. That’s her crime under Islam.

A mother who was freed from death row for refusing to renounce Christianity has been re-arrested just one day later while trying to leave Sudan, her lawyer told NBC News on Tuesday. Meriam Ibrahim, 27, was “very happy” after an appeals court on Monday overturned a death sentence imposed because she married a Christian man and allegedly turned her back on Islam. But lawyer Elshareef Ali Mohammed said a group of 50 security force personnel arrested her and family members during an angry confrontation at Khartoum’s airport on Tuesday.
Mohammed, who said he was at the airport with Ibrahim, said no reason was given for her re-arrest. Britain’s Foreign Office said it had received confirmation that Sudan’s National Intelligence and Security Service had detained Ibrahim and her husband Daniel Wani, an American citizen who told the Guardian following his wife’s release that he hoped they could start a new life in the U.S. The couple were with their two children at the time of their detention, including the baby Ibrahim gave birth to while she was on death row in a women’s prison. When contacted by NBC News, a State Department spokeswoman said Ibrahim was “safe,” but declined to say where due to security reasons.

A teenage girl and 39-year old man who desecrated an Edinburgh mosque by attacking it with strips of bacon have both been jailed.
Chelsea Lambie, 18, from Paisley, was sentenced to 12 months and Douglas Cruikshank, from Galashiels, to nine months.
They attached bacon to door handles and threw strips inside Edinburgh’s Central Mosque on 31 January 2013.
Cruikshank pled guilty. Lambie was found guilty after denying the charges.
Sheriff Alistair Noble, at Edinburgh Sheriff Court, said: “It does not seem to me there is any way to deal with this case other than by custody.”
During an earlier trial, the court heard a Blackberry mobile phone was found in Lambie’s clothing when she was arrested at her boyfriend’s house.
Messages sent on 31 January included: “Going to invade a mosque, because we can go where we want.”
A text to the phone asked: “What you do last night?” The reply was: “Went to the mosque in Edinburgh and wrapped bacon round the door handles, opened the door and threw it in ha ha ha.”
‘Very disturbing’
Google searches on the phone were for the location of the mosque, addresses for taxis and “Edinburgh mosque bacon search”.
A security guard at the mosque told the trial of the offence the bacon would have caused to Muslims.
Usman Mahmood said: “I was surprised if a person did it for a joke. It is against our culture and religion.
“We do not eat pork or even touch it. I felt very bad seeing this meat in my sacred place.
“It hurt my feelings when I saw this meat hanging inside the mosque in the worshipping area. It was very disturbing.”

In an interview on the Hamas-owned Al-Aqsa TV channel, Dr. Subhi Al-Yazji of the Islamic University in Gaza said that what motivates many martyrdom-seekers is the belief that “the Muslim faith requires us to make sacrifices.”
“Contrary to how they are portrayed by the West and some biased media outlets, which claim that they are youths of 18-20 years who have been brainwashed, most of the people who sacrificed their lives for the sake of Allah were engineers and had office jobs,” he said.
Following are excerpts from the interview, which was broadcast on June 6, 2014.
Dr. Subhi Al-Yazji: We must realize that the Islamic concept of sacrifice motivates many of our youth to carry out martyrdom operations. Our youths who carry out martyrdom operations… Contrary to how they are portrayed by the West and some biased media outlets, which claim that they are youths of 18-20 years who have been brainwashed, most of the people who sacrificed their lives for the sake of Allah were engineers and had office jobs. They were all mature and rational.
Some people claim that they did this for the money. Take, for example, someone like brother Sa’d, who was an engineers, had an office job, owned a home and a car, and was married – what made him embark on Jihad? He believed that the Muslim faith requires us to make sacrifices.
Only after the state government put pressure on the Sydney Opera House did it decide to cancel a speech by a devout Muslim leader on the Islamic sanction of honor killings.

It speaks once again to moderate vs radical — a distinction based on piety, really. It’s the sharia and a very large segment of the ummah supports it. 91% of honor killings worldwide are Islamic. Honor killers receive lenient sentences (and sometimes none at all) in many Islamic countries.

A RADICAL Islamic spokesman has been stopped from delivering a speech defending honour killings at a cultural festival at The Sydney Opera House.
The event — part of the Festival of Dangerous Ideas — was slammed as a cheap stunt that could have put women’s lives at risk.
The furore comes days after Opera Australia sacked a soprano from performing at the Opera House after an anti-gay slur appeared on her Facebook page.
Federal and state MPs condemned the Opera House for its decision to host Hizb ut-Tahrir spokesman Uthman Badar in a speech titled “honour killings are morally justified”.
Honour killing involves murdering a woman who is considered to have shamed her family.
The speech, scheduled for August 30, was removed from the festival’s playlist last night following widespread outrage.
The state government is understood to have put pressure on the Opera House with NSW Arts Minister Troy Grant asking for an urgent explanation on why the event was scheduled.
“The NSW government is proud to support programs that enrich our society and culture, but I am concerned this program does not meet that criteria and I have sought an urgent explanation,’’ Mr Grant said.
“Where these ideas have the potential to spark racial tension, they move from dangerous to stupid.”
Hizb ut-Tahrir is a banned radical organisation in Germany and The Netherlands and, before becoming prime minister, Tony Abbott said he would outlaw it here.
Promotional material for the speech said that historically “parents have reluctantly sacrificed their children — sending them to kill or be killed for the honour of their nation, their flag, their king, their religion. But what about killing for the honour of one’s family?”
Foreign Minister Julie Bishop condemned the event, saying: “It is abhorrent for any person, regardless of faith or ethnicity, to argue in support of murder as a means of protecting the so-called honour of any other individual, family or community.”
Federal Deputy Opposition Leader Tanya Plibersek said honour killing was murder, and “any promotion of or justification for it is completely unacceptable”.
Women’s Minister Pru Goward said the event had no place in Australia.
“The justification of honour killings has no place in this country, and frankly I’m surprised the idea is being entertained,” Ms Goward said.
“If Hizb ut-Tahrir and the Islamic Caliphate are trying to improve cultural understanding, I have a tip for them; promoting honour killings is not the way to do it.”
Festival of Dangerous Ideas co-curator Ann Mossop denied Mr Badar was promoting honour killing, despite the event’s title, saying: “There is a distinct line between discussing ideas … and advocating violence, he is not saying people should perpetrate honour killings,” Ms Mossop said.
But when cancelling Mr Badar’s speech last night, the Opera House stated it believed it crossed a line between provocation to thought and simply provocation.
“The Festival of Dangerous Ideas is intended to be a provocation to thought and discussion, rather than simply a provocation,” the statement read.
“It is always a matter of balance and judgement and in this case a line has been crossed. Accordingly, we have decided not to proceed with the scheduled session with Uthman Badar. “It is clear from the public reaction that the title has given the wrong impression of what Mr Badar intended to discuss.
“Neither Mr Badar, the St James Ethics Centre nor the Sydney Opera House in any way advocates honour killings or condones any form of violence against women.”
Mr Badar hit back last night, tweeting: “Hysteria wins out. Welcome to the free world, where freedom of expression is a cherished value.”

In the last months, the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) has stepped up its media activity, opening social media accounts and distributing videos, audios and images via numerous channels and in many languages, thereby avoiding online censorship. As part of these intensive propaganda efforts, it has launched Al-Hayat Media, a new media branch specifically targeting Western and non-Arabic speaking audiences.

Launched in May 2014, the new media branch follows ISIS’s general media strategy of distributing diverse materials in several languages, including new videos and subtitles for existing videos, and also articles, news reports, and translated jihadi materials. Its main Twitter account is in German, but it also publishes materials in English and French, as well as other languages. For instance, it recently posted a speech by ISIS spokesman Abu Muhammad Al-’Adnani translated into seven languages (English, Turkish, Dutch, French, German, Indonesian and Russian).

The character and quality of the productions suggest that the staff is experienced in producing media materials for Western audiences. Apparently, one of the main figures active in the new media branch is German rapper-turned-jihad-fighter Abu Talha Al Almani (aka Deso Dogg), who was wounded twice in the fighting in Syria. In April 2014, around the time of Al-Hayat’s Media’s establishment, he announced in a video that he had decided to quit active fighting and assume a new role in the ISIS propaganda mechanism: “That’s why I pledged allegiance [to ISIS], in order to help the brothers and sisters of ISIS… and teach them how to make da’wa [preach] to people who have long lived in humiliation and do not know the laws of Allah. We are here, and we make da’wa to the children, to the elderly, to all the people”[1]. Recently Al-Hayat Media released a video of him singing a jihadi song.[2] Given his previous involvement in ISIS propaganda projects,[3] it is likely that he has a prominent role in running the new media branch.

Following the ISIS offensive in Iraq on June 10, 2014, Twitter closed down many official ISIS and pro-ISIS accounts, including the main accounts of Al-Hayat Media, in German, English and French, but these were soon replaced by new Twitter accounts. Al-Hayat Media’s videos and materials are also distributed via Archive.org and other free web hosting services, and are regularly listed on justepaste.it, a web service for sharing free user-created contents.

Al-Hayat Media’s target audience is jihad-supporters and potential supporters, and even potential recruits, in the West and other non-Arabic speaking countries. Recent publications suggest that the target audience may also include non-Arabic speaking foreign jihadis fighting in Syria and Iraq who are eager for news and/or media exposure.
Al-Hayat Media releases to date (many of which have been the subject of MEMRI JTTM reports) include:
- A series of three original videos titled Mujatweets, showing snippets of day-to-day life “in the Islamic State,” i.e., in ISIS-controlled parts of Syria. The first clip features a German jihad fighter singing a religious song in honor of ISIS, the second shows foreign fighters distributing ice cream, and the third features a worker in a sandwich shop in Al-Raqqa, who describes how secure and prosperous under ISIS supposedly is. The purpose is to show that life under ISIS rule is peaceful and normal, and to shatter the image of the jihad fighters as fierce religious fanatics by presenting them as ordinary, friendly people eager to help the local population. The quality of the videos suggests knowhow and ability in production and post-production.[4]
- Two videos of nasheeds [religious chants] accompanied by a montage of footage and still images. The first is a call for violence against everyone who opposes ISIS, including Christians. The second is a call for Westerners to join ISIS; the footage shows executions and other extremely violent scenes from previous ISIS videos, such as Salil Al-Sawarim.[5]
- A series of seven articles in English, released as high-quality PDF documents, reminiscent of Al Qaeda’s Inspire online magazine. The articles emphasize ISIS’s successes on the battlefield and showcase prominent ISIS fighters and operations, including suicide bombings and their perpetrators. The articles are styled to resemble professional press pieces.[6]
- English subtitles for videos released by ISIS’s other media groups, Al l’tisam and Al Furqan, including the extremely violent video series Salil-Al-Sawarim, which shows ISIS fighters butchering their enemies. As stated, Al-Hayat Media also produced subtitles in seven languages for a speech by ISIS spokesman Abu Muhammad Al-’Adnani.[7]
- A 14-minute English-language video, released June 19, 2014, featuring interviews with British and Australian jihad fighters, titled “There Is No Life without Jihad”. The interviewees urge more Westerners to join ISIS in Syria and fight for the establishment of the Caliphate.[8]
In any war between the civilized man and the savage, support the civilized man. Support Israel. Defeat jihad.
Remember: these are Obama’s “peace partners,” and he is pressuring the Israelis to make concessions to them.

The song promotes violence and destruction in the name of Allah, as it calls to “smash the fortress of the hopeless” and “shout: ‘Allah is Greater’” and states that “the remains of our bodies and our blood are a song of rage.”
Fatah’s military wing, the Al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Brigades, is described as “the rival in the land who burns the foreign enemy” and who will “reach the enemy everywhere.” Israelis and/or Jews are addressed directly and promised death:
“Stop and consider, sons of Zion, that death is near…
All you’ll get from us is death
Stop and consider a thousand times
That a revolution sparks with a flame
Fatah is like a rock, whose soldiers love to fight”

The visuals of the video promote violence through numerous images of Fatah fighters engaged in fighting and holding weapons. The video also shows pictures of grieving Israelis, a wounded Israeli soldier and Israeli medics with a stretcher at the scene of a terror attack.
In May, Fatah posted a film glorifying some of the most lethal terror attacks against Israelis as “great operations” — including the Coastal Road massacre, in which 37 were murdered, and the killing of 11 Israeli athletes at the Munich Olympics.
Fatah is headed by PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas. Its military wing, the Al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Brigades, has been declared a terrorist organization by the US, Canada, the EU and others.

The media had amended the name of the Islamic army tearing through Syria and Iraq to ISIS (Islamic State of Syria and Iraq). But the correct name is ISIL (Islamic State in the Levant). What is the the Levant? The geographical area they mean to rule. The Levant includes Egypt, Lebanon, Israel, Jordan, Cyprus and parts of Turkey.
And it’s not ISIL that’s the problem, it’s the ideology.

BAGHDAD — Al-Qaeda renegades seized control of Iraq’s main border crossing with Jordan late Sunday, sustaining their onslaught against crumbling Iraqi security forces as Secretary of State John F. Kerry arrived in Baghdad.
The capture of the border crossing of Turabil late Sunday followed the fall of three more towns in western Iraq’s Anbar province to the forces of the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS).
The latest conquests give the radical Sunni Muslim insurgents unchecked control of hundreds of miles of territory spanning the Iraqi-Syrian border, erasing the line drawn between the two countries by colonial powers and advancing the extremists’ goal of establishing a pan-Islamic state.
The gains also put the militants within easy reach of Jordan and Saudi Arabia, U.S. allies that are among those in the region watching with alarm as the fighters rout Iraqi security forces and close in on Baghdad.
It’s not just Jordan. It’s Lebanon too.

A suicide bomber blew up his car in southern Beirut on Monday night near an army checkpoint, killing himself and wounding several people watching the soccer World Cup in a nearby cafe.
The bombing came just three days after a failed attempt to kill one of the top security officials in Lebanon, which has suffered a wave of sectarian violence linked to the civil war in neighbouring Syria.
Monday’s explosion, shortly before midnight (2100 GMT), killed the bomber and wounded 19 people, Lebanon’s civil defence force said. An emergency worker at the nearby Sahel hospital said it treated 11 lightly wounded people.
Reuters television footage from the scene showed the blackened wreckage of a car, surrounded by damaged vehicles.
