Their concern was not for Christian victim of Italian descent in this heavily populated Muslim neighborhood, but of protecting Islam.
(Reuters) – An elderly woman was found beheaded at a house in a north London suburb on Thursday, British media reported, in an incident that police said did not appear to be terrorist related.
Officers said they were called to the house in Edmonton following reports of a man armed with a [machete], and found the woman’s body in the garden. She was named as 82-year-old Palmira Silva who detectives believe is of Italian descent. (Reuters)
Just a day after the Foley and Sotloff beheadings, a woman was found beheaded in Edmonton. Not five minutes after the woman, beheaded in her backyard in broad daylight by a “machete-wielding” man (like Lee Rigby) who had been menacing people in a number of backyards previous to the beheading, police stated firmly that it was not “terrorist-related.” How did they know that?
One witness has told Sky News a man was “fighting” with police.
Detective Chief Inspector John Sandlin, who is leading the investigation, described it as a “a highly visible attack in broad daylight”.
Clearly the Islamic State beheadings are the ….. inspiration.

Nuts. The grief of the Sotloff family excuses their statements. At the same time, instead of appealing to the enemy, they should wake up to what killed him, and sound the alarm for free people.

The grieving family of U.S. journalist Steven Joel Sotloff, who was beheaded by the militants of the Islamic State (also known as ISIS) in a video released Tuesday, released a statement on Wednesday carefully addressing both Western and Arab media outlets. Sotloff family spokesman Barak Barfi spoke on behalf of the family — in both English and Arabic.
Sotloff “was no war junkie — he did not want to be a modern-day Lawrence of Arabia. He merely wanted to give voice to those that have none,” Barfi read from the statement to reporters. “Steve was no hero. Like all of us, he was a mere man who tried to find good concealed in a world of darkness. And if it did not exist, he tried to create it.”
Sotloff is the second U.S. journalist that ISIS beheaded in less than a month. Barfi extended his condolences to the family of earlier victim James Foley.
Barfi also addressed the media in Arabic, speaking directly to Islamic State Caliph Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi. He said that as a brother of Islam, he was speaking in the name of Islam and did not agree with the Caliph’s actions. ...

A sickening photograph has emerged of a tiny baby lying on an ISIS flag surrounded by guns and hand grenades.
The chilling image is the latest photo believed to have been posted by militants fighting in Syria and Iraq as part of their online propaganda campaign.
It shows the child – who appears to be less than six months old – lying on its back on the black flag now associated with the group terrorising the Middle East.
Where other babies its age might have soft toys scattered around them, the child has been cynically positioned next to a Kalashnikov rifle, a pistol and hand grenades.

A gathering of thousands of Isis (now known as the Islamic State) supporters has taken place at Jerusalem’s Temple Mount, according to local Israeli media.
The report by the Israeli television station Channel 10 (to be broadcast next week) added the gathering further demonstrated the terror group’s sights were firmly focused on Israel as a future target.
The rally, which took place on a recent Friday prayer session, was organised by the Tahrir party, described as the “Palestine branch” of IS.
The author of the report, Zvi Yehezkeli, said a widely shared photo of an IS supporter was taken next to his position at the Temple Mount.
He added the terror group “now knocking on Jordan’s door, has marked ‘Palestine’ as the next target on its list”.
In July, IS told the Palestinian people it was “only a matter of time” before they reach Palestine to join the fight against “barbaric Jews”.

At the end of a lengthy NY Times propaganda piece basically providing the bloodthirsty devout Islamic State savages with an …. alibi, is the real news story. First, the idea that the NY Times would print the Islamic State’s manifesto is just another attack on America …. but this jihad is perpetrated by America’s fifth column. Their headline reads: “ISIS Says It Killed Steven Sotloff After U.S. Strikes in Northern Iraq.” Really? It gives the Islamic savages the imprimatur of legitimacy, while making it appear that Obama actually did something. What he did was create a vacuum for jihadist groups like the Islamic State, or provided outright support for jihadist groups like the Muslim Brotherhood, et al to flourish and grow.
Would the defenders of freedom that the NY Times has relentlessly smeared as “islamophobes,” “racists” and “bigots” ever be given such a platform? Such a headline? “AFDI Says Their Freedom Initiatives ……”
What do defenders of freedom have to do to get some NY Times love? Behead their journalists?

The cowed leading the cowed.
President Obama and Prime Minister David Cameron of Britain have called on NATO to confront the rising terrorist threat posed by jihadists in the Middle East, saying the United States and Britain “will not be cowed by barbaric killers.”
The cowed insist that they will not be cowed. It’s too funny, only it’s not. The British government banned Robert Spencer and me from speaking in the UK; how is that not cowed? The UK welcomes vicious hate imams to the UK, but refuses entry to defenders of freedom. The British law enforcement authorities allowed thousands and thousands of young non-Muslim girls to be raped, trafficked and sold like meat to Muslim rape gangs. The UK’s submission to Islam is rivaled by Obama’s sharia-complaint foreign and domestic polices. Obama is so subdued, he can’t even call Islamic terror — terror. Fort Hood, Boston bombing, Benghazi — all some random, unnamed thing.
Obama has led the advancing jihad forces in Libya, Egypt, Gaza, Judea, Samaria, Syria, and Iraq. Obama was briefed on the Islamic State for well over a year. Heck, Atlas readers were briefed for longer than that.
The question isn’t whether they’ll be cowed — they question is, who is more cowed?

Let me repeat for the umpteenth time — Canada has nothing to do with it. The color of the socks has nothing to do with it. Nation, borders, race, color have nothing to do with why Muslims are going to fight for the Islamic state.

28,000. Clearly this group enjoys broad support among Muslims. How often did you hear about American Muslims running off to join al-Qaeda? Not nearly in the numbers you see in which they are joining the Islamic State. The caliphate declaration has struck a chord. But not to worry: Kerry says that Islam is peaceful, and Obama says the Islamic State has already been defeated.

Twitter vowed to suspend accounts posting graphic imagery or “calls to violent actions” after Foley’s murder was filmed by the Sunni group and then spread online last month. But an analysis by Recorded Future that carried out for Britain’s Sky News showed 60,000 pro-jihadi profiles had been set up since May, including 28,000 since the video of Foley’s murder emerged on August 20.
