S. 2224, A bill to require the President to report to Congress on issues related to Syria
As ordered reported by the Senate Committee on Foreign Relations on April 26, 2012 S. 2224 would require the President to submit to the Congress reports on Syrian opposition groups and on stockpiles of weapons in Syria. Based on information from the Administration, CBO estimates that implementing the bill would have discretionary costs of less than $500,000 in 2013, assuming availability of appropriated funds. Enacting S. 2224 would not affect direct spending or revenues; therefore, pay-as-you-go procedures do not apply.      |
