The Congressional Budget Office is a small nonpartisan agency that provides economic and budgetary analysis to the Congress. CBO seeks a Deputy Assistant Director for Budget Analysis, one of two deputies who report to the Assistant Director in CBO’s Budget Analysis Division (BAD). The division’s deputies assist with managing all aspects of the work of BAD’s eight units. Those units are supervised by Unit Chiefs who oversee the work of analysts covering particular programs in the federal budget or carrying out other responsibilities. BAD is the agency’s largest division, with about 80 people.
