The Management, Business, and Information Services Division seeks a Deputy Chief Information Officer (DCIO), who will report to the Chief Information Officer (CIO) and assist the CIO in planning, organizing, coordinating, budgeting, and managing daily activities necessary to carry out the agency’s information technology (IT) mission. Reliable and effective IT is critical to CBO’s ability to respond to the needs of the Congress in a timely manner. The CIO and the DCIO will therefore be responsible for making the agency’s IT systems as reliable as possible and for ensuring quick, effective action when there are IT problems.
