The Health, Retirement, and Long-Term Analysis Division (HRLD) is seeking an experienced health economist to contribute to a variety of projects, analyses, and modeling on issues related to prescription drugs. Applicants must have a Ph.D. in economics or a related discipline and at least three years of postdoctoral experience. They should have prior experience analyzing Medicare Part D or other prescription drug programs, strong quantitative skills, experience using large data files, and an in-depth knowledge of at least one programming language. Substantial knowledge of the institutional details of the prescription drug market is highly desirable.
