CBO’s  Health, Retirement, and Long-Term Analysis Division is seeking an analyst for its Long-Term Analysis Unit (LTAU) to cover Social Security and retirement issues. LTAU carries out CBO’s long-term modeling initiatives, providing the Congress with 30-year projections of the federal budget under current law, and performs analyses of long-term trends and policy options related to retirement, disability, and health care.

The successful candidate will improve the agency’s projections of revenues and outlays for Social Security and assist with estimates of legislative proposals related to immigration policy. The analyst will also assist in the development and use of CBO’s long-term microsimulation model.
