Deputy Assistant Director

CBO seeks a Deputy Assistant Director to help lead its Health, Retirement, and Long-Term Analysis Division, which analyzes issues and policies in the areas of health care and health care financing (including Medicare, Medicaid, private health insurance, and population health) and Social Security (including long-term microsimulation modeling).

The applicant must have an advanced degree—preferably a Ph.D.—in economics, public health, health policy, or a closely related discipline; a minimum of eight years of experience in policy analysis related to health care or retirement issues; the skills necessary to strategically guide all of the division’s work; and a proven track record as a manager and research leader.
