The Congressional Budget Office is a small nonpartisan agency that provides economic and budgetary analysis to the Congress. CBO’s Office of Communications seeks an intern with a strong work ethic to assist with the agency’s media relations and public affairs this summer.

The successful candidate will report to the Director of Communications and will serve as a key member of the communications team. Duties include responding to phone and email inquiries from the media and the general public on a wide range of topics, attending and preparing for Congressional hearings, coordinating meetings with outside groups and international visitors, and working on other communications projects and planning as needed.
