The Congressional Budget Office is a nonpartisan agency that provides economic and budgetary analysis to the Congress and is ranked as one of the best places to work among small federal agencies. CBO seeks a Deputy Director of Macroeconomic Analysis to assist leading a division that monitors economic conditions, prepares CBO’s economic forecast, conducts analyses of the effects of fiscal policy on the economy and on the federal budget, and works closely with CBO’s Panel of Economic Advisers.
