Analysts in the Long-Term Analysis Unit are responsible for the agency’s population projections; the agency’s projections of federal spending in the long term; and a microsimulation model that underlies long-term projections of the Social Security program’s spending and revenues and the analysis of proposed policy changes to the program.
Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, a minimum of three years of experience, and familiarity with all stages of the software development cycle.
