The Congressional Budget Office (CBO) is a small nonpartisan agency that provides economic and budgetary analysis to the Congress. The agency seeks a human resources specialist as part of a busy, tight-knit human resources team that is focused on customer service, reliability, and efficiency. Responsibilities include serving as the agency’s primary benefits officer, providing expert advice to employees and managers in all aspects of federal benefits and retirement programs and managing the processing of all benefits and retirement personnel actions. Responsibilities also include overseeing the agency’s time and attendance reporting system. The successful candidate will report to the Chief Human Resources Officer.
