Visiting scholars may interact with CBO staff members working on health care, financial analysis, or other topics. The agency is particularly interested in hosting scholars with expertise in the economics of mental health and in financial technology (including cryptocurrencies, decentralized finance, and central bank digital currencies).

The agency has positions available for visiting scholars serving 4- to 12-month terms during the period from July 1, 2023, to June 30, 2024. The opportunity is expected to be of particular interest to people on paid sabbatical from other institutions.
