Happy New Year! We hope you enjoyed a relaxing and festive break. We are ready to hit the ground running in 2025! Please consider volunteering to chair or co-chair a 2025 event (we will support you if you are new to this!). Additional day-of volunteer opportunities for each event will be shared as it gets closer. The first event we need help planning is the Snowball Dance on Friday, February 7 at Village Hall. This is a free family fun event! The co-chair will help plan the theme, organize volunteers, and help at the dance. Even if you can't help plan it, save the date to attend it. Families will enjoy dancing, socializing, and refreshments. The Snowball Dance is Friday, February 7, 6pm-8pm at Village Hall. |

From the Student CouncilHelp the Blythe Park Student Council make breakfast bags for the Riverside Township Food Pantry. Donate small, nonperishable food items by January 17. Click on the flyer below for more information. Email Mrs. King with any questions. |

Library ReadersCaregivers of kindergarten through second graders are invited to volunteer during their student's library time. Volunteers will read a selected book and can assist with helping students choose books to checkout. Slots are limited; please only register once/classroom. All volunteers must bring an ID and check in at the office. Please arrive 5 minutes prior to the library time for this process. |

| | Is better meal planning a new year's resolution? We've got you covered with a restaurant night! Dine at Noodles & Co. in LaGrange on Thursday, January 30, 4pm-8pm. 25% of event sales will be donated back to the Blythe Park PTA, so pick up dinner while supporting our cause! |

D96 Flying High Fundraiser | | Kids can enjoy some district-wide friend fun at Flying High on Friday, February 28 while YOU enjoy a childfree evening from 7pm-10pm. This drop off fundraiser is $18/student and includes supervised open gym play, pizza, drinks, and desserts. Select BLYTHE from the event drop down menu when registering. |
