The October Board of Education Meeting will take place on Tuesday, October 15th at 7:30pm in the Hauser LRC. A policy committee meeting will be held from 6:00pm-7:20pm. The agenda for both meetings can be found at the following link:

Calling all 4th and 5th Grade Student Reporters! The Bulldog Newspaper needs you!
On Wednesday, October 16th from 3:15-4:00pm in the auditorium there will be a meeting for any interested 4th and 5th grade students who would like to be reporters and/or illustrators for the Bulldog Newspaper.
At this meeting, interested students will learn about their roles and responsibilities of being a reporter and/or illustrator. A project calendar will be presented and assignments will be finalized. We would like all students to sign-up prior to the meeting for two topics of interest that they would like to report on and/or illustrate. It is time to paint the Halloween windows in downtown Riverside. Window painting will take place at the Hollywood House (located right next to Hollywood school) in Brookfield.
Here are the details:
- Painting will take place on Sunday, October 20th from 1-5pm
- Paintings will be done on paper and then hung in local business windows
- Program available to students in Graders in Riverside Township
- Registration form is attached
- Registration deadline - Wednesday, October 16th
 The Original Works art projects are complete – thanks to all who volunteered in the Art Room and got their kids into the lunchroom! Look for order forms with your kid’s artwork to arrive the beginning to mid November.
If you plan on submitting artwork completed by siblings, family photos, birth announcements or any other items, additional order forms will be available when you receive the order packets with the artwork completed at school. Your original artwork must be submitted on a 8 x 10 1/2 piece of paper. Please use thicker copy paper strength. Place a “T” on the back of the artwork in pencil to indicate the TOP.

We are still have some openings for library volunteers. If you would like to read a story to your children’s class and help shelf the library books, a library volunteer slot is for you. This Friday, is the annual Blythe Park PTA Fun Fair. It takes an army of volunteers and we are still looking to fill some slots. If you are available and could help, it would be greatly appreciated. This Friday, October 18th is Blythe Park PTA’s annual Fall Fun Fair! Bring the whole family or a night of fun!
COME PLAY ALL THE GAMES!
All games in both the gym and Hallway can be played from 6:00-8:00pm. Fun Fair tickets are $.25 or 5/$1.00 and will be sold at the door.
ENJOY DINNER AND DESSERT AT THE FUN FAIR
Pizza, Taffy Apples and Sandy Candy will be available for purchase.
PIzza Parlor will open at 5:30pm
The Parlor’s menu will include Cheese or Sausage Pizza by the slice for $2.50, Salad $2.00, Grapes $.25 and Capri Sun and Water Bottles for $.50. The Pizza Parlor will be in the lunch room.
Taffy Apple and Sandy Candy stands to open at 6:30pm.
Come make your own red or green taffy apples with all the toppings for $2.00 a half apple and $3.00 a full apple. Sandy Candy-sand art you can eat - will be available for $3.00.
WIN A SWEET TREAT AT THE CAKE WALK!
Come play the cake walk in the auditorium from 6:00-8:00pm or until all the baked goods are won!

The Blythe staff will be face painting to support the Blythe Park Angel Fund. Make sure to find their table.
We are looking for baked goods for the Fun Fair’s Cake Walk. If you will be able to bring a baked to be won at the Cake Walk, please let us know by clicking on the button below. Goodies can be dropped off anytime during the day on Friday, October 18th or just bring them with you to the Fun Fair and drop in the auditorium.
