Blythe Park PTA Happenings 10/21/2013

Just a reminder, this Friday is a Teacher Institute Day. School will not be in session. Classes will resume Monday, October 28th. Enjoy the long weekend!

      

A standing ovation of thanks to all those who volunteered themselves, their spouses, and their children to help with this year’s Fun Fair! The games were great, the prizes were perfect, the food was fabulous and the face painting was fantastic! A great time was had by all thanks to our amazing volunteers and the wonderful support of our Blythe Families! See you there next year!

      

On behalf of the Blythe Park PTA, a big “thank you” to each of you for supporting our Spirit Wear fundraiser. Thanks to Alan and Sharon Linhart who again did a fantastic job in fulfilling our order this year! Your orders have been placed in bags with a child’s name and their teacher’s name printed on the outside and will be delivered to the school office on Monday. With Mrs. Marchuk’s help, your children should be bringing home spirit wear Monday afternoon from school! Questions: Contact Mary Proteau.

      

Treat your kid(s) to a hot lunch and treat yourself to a day off from packing lunches!

The next Hot Lunch Fundraiser is Friday, November 1st. The menu will include: slice of cheese pizza, seasonal fruit, cookie and a drink.  The cost per child is $5.00.  To register your child(ren), go to www.blytheparkpta.org and click on the hot lunch sign-up button located on the right side bar.

If you signed up for Hot Lunch for the remainder of the year, you are all set!  No reservations are needed for the remainder of the year. Thanks for supporting the Hot Lunch Fundraiser!

The reservation deadline is Wednesday, October 30th. Reservations will not be excepted after Wednesday. Please make sure to make your reservation by then.

Box Tops first submission is November 1st!  Please send along any Box Tops you have clipped at home  by Wednesday, October 30th to ensure that Bythe Park receives credit in the first submission!  Thanks!

Once you have placed your order, send your payment to the school office in an envelope labeled with magnets and your family name. Checks can be made payable to Blythe Park PTA.
