Your e-mail address will remain CONFIDENTIAL to Blythe Park PTA. Your e-mail address will NOT be shared with others. It will ONLY be printed in the school directory if you denote by checking the box.
For the 2014-2015 school year, the PTA Membership/School Directory package will cost $6.00, and District 96 School Calendars will cost $5.00. Please make checks payable to Blythe Park PTA ($11.00 for both) and return your payment to the school office.

 I scream, you scream, we all scream for Blythe Park PTA’s annual Ice Cream Social!
It will take place Friday, September 19th at 6:30pm in the Amphitheater (inside if weather is inclement). Bring the whole family to enjoy an ice cream cone, check out the sidewalk art gallery and play some games in the gym.  During this past summer, the Blythe Park PTA had ongoing correspondence with the Internal Revenue Service concerning penalty notices for the fiscal tax year ending in 2008 totaling $2,729.32, and for the fiscal tax year ending in 2009 totaling $1,705.93. These penalties accrued due to incorrect and late filing by Brookfield Financial Plans.
In June, the correct forms were filed and a letter was written to ask the IRS to remove filing penalties for both years. Blythe Park PTA received word recently that all penalties have been waived, and our balance with the IRS is zero. If you are new to Blythe Park School or have not purchased spirit wear in the past, please consider taking a look and making a purchase for either yourself or your student…. cute shirts/sweats/flannel pants/hats/jerseys/skirts in school colors with Blythe Park logos. These clothing items make great gifts so please share the ordering information with your family and friends who may be looking for gift ideas for your children.

 To celebrate the new school year and Blythe Park creativity, we are hoping to chalk all the sidewalk squares that surround Blythe Park with beautiful artwork. So, come join in the fun!
How does it work? Sidewalk squares can be purchased for $3.00 each. Purchase a family square or one for each member of your family. Squares will need to be chalked with your artistic design on Wednesday, September 17th, Thursday, September 18th or Friday, September 19th. As part of this year’s ice cream social, we will have our very own art gallery on display.

 As you are doing your summer cleaning, don’t throw anything away….Blythe Park PTA will be holding a garage sale on Saturday, September 27th. We will be accepting donations of household items, games, toys, furniture, clothes, electronics on Friday, September 26th. So, as you are cleaningsave it to donate to our first annual Garage Sale!
