 This year’s talent show will held on Thursday, February 25th at 7pm with the mandatory dress rehearsal on Wednesday, February 24th from 3:00pm-5:00pm.
The requirements for participating in the show are the following:
- All acts are prepared and rehearsed by the child or group on their own time
- All acts can be no longer than two minutes in length
- Music needs to be approved by Mrs. Smith. If possible, please supply a copy of the music for the show.
- Participants are responsible for supplying any props and costumes needed for their performance.
The children will be asked to make a presentation to the talent show committee the week of February 15th during lunch. Groups will be notified of their presentation date the week prior. The presentation to the talent show committee needs to be your child’s complete act including music selection, costumes and props.
Each talent show participant must register using the on-line sign-up or the form attached below. To sign-up on line, go to the Blythe Park PTA website at www.blytheparkpta.org and click on the talent show button. The registration deadline is Monday, February 15th.

 Blythe Park PTA’s annual Snowball Dance will be held on Friday, February 5th from 6:00-8:00pm in the gym. It will be a winter wonderland of fun! Bring the whole family out to dance the night away!

 Make plans to join us for After School GIRLS Yoga! Grab your friends and learn some great ways to relax the mind and body. Class will run from 3:00-3:45pm on Thursdays in the gym and the cost is $10. Buy a punch card for all 7 classes and receive one free class!

ENJOY HOT CHOCOLATE AT LUNCH!
The Blythe Park Student Council will be selling hot chocolate during lunch on Tuesday, February 9th, Wednesday, February 10th and Thursday, February 11th. Each cup will be $1.00 (cash only) and there will be a one cup limit per child each day.
All the proceeds for the Hot Chocolate sale will go to an all Blythe Park School field trip to the zoo in June.
SAVE ITEMS FOR RUMMAGE SALE IN APRIL
The Student Council will also be having a rummage sale in April. So, if you are cleaning your closets, bedrooms, etc, put aside any gently used games and toys that we can sell. More information about the rummage sale will come closer to the date.

 Hauser PTO’s Annual Family dinner will be held on Wednesday, February 10th, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm, in the Hauser cafeteria. Family, friends, community members-come for the Hauser basketball game, shop at the Scholastic Book Fair (in the library) and stay for the pasta dinner! The dinner will include: Pasta with Sauce & Meatballs * Salad * Bread * Homemade Desserts * Lemonade. Tickets are $5.00 in advance and $7.00 at the door..
