April fitness calendars must be turned in by tomorrow (Tuesday, May 9th).
The order for medals must be placed by tomorrow night. Please turn in your calendars by Tuesday so points can be tallied and the correct medals ordered.

Blythe Park PTA’s 2017-2018 School Supply Kit sale will run May 8th – June 2nd. All orders will be available to purchase online from The Write Stuff and be delivered to school.
Online Ordering Instructions
1) Go to www.write-stuff.com/storefront/school/blythe
2) Select grade level.
3) If applicable, select kit within grade level.
4) Enter student name and gender. Note: Item quantities can be changed if you already have an item in the kit.
5) Follow prompts to check out.
6) Save and print email confirmation for your records.
There is no cost to have your kits shipped to school during the sale dates. If you order after June 2nd or have the kits shipped somewhere else, standard shipping charges will apply.

2017-18 Blythe School Supply Kit Flyer
Cardio Kids will be held this week on Wednesday and Friday at 7:45am for 2nd-5th Grade students. Please have your runners/walkers dressed appropriately for the activity and the weather.
Ms. Gorman, Ms. Rehor and Mr. Bartelt will walk/run with the students around the Blythe Park campus. (Four laps around the school equals one mile!) We hope to see many students and parents walking and running with us this spring!
Kids TaeKwonDo will be held on Thursday from 3:00-3:45pm in the Blythe Park Gym for all students in K-5th Grade. *Class reservation deadline is Wednesday. You must register by clicking on the Cheddar Up button below to participate.

*PLEASE NOTE – All children must be registered online by clicking on the Cheddar Up button no matter your payment method (cash, check or credit). Payment can be made online or send cash/check to the school office with “Kids Tae Kwon Do” on the envelope and child’s name. (Please make checks payable to Blythe Park PTA.)

The Blythe Park PTA would like to thank our members for their generous time and donations throughout the year.
The last PTA meeting of this school year will be Thursday, May 11th at 7:00 pm in the multi-purpose room. Please join us for coffee and dessert to celebrate a successful school year! Also, the 2017-2018 Executive Board will be installed.

Volunteers needed for the Gail Goletz ACES Walk on Friday, May 19th.

The Gail Goletz ACES Walk (All Children Exercising Simultaneously) is the end of the year celebration for the Bulldog Challenge Fitness Program.
Blythe Park students, 1st-5th grade, will walk one mile around the Blythe Park neighborhood during the lunch/recess period. Kindergarteners are encouraged to participate, but must be accompanied by an adult.
After the walk, the students will have lunch in the amphitheater and there will be an awards presentation for students who participated in the Bulldog Challenge this year.
The PTA would like to thank everyone who helped make Teacher Appreciation Week an award-worthy event!
Thanks to everyone who donated their time and money to help make the Blythe Park teachers and staff feel like the stars they are!

The class with the highest number of valid Box Tops submitted through May 24, 2017 will win a POPSICLE PARTY for their class!
- Box Tops can be turned in to the office at any time either on the monthly Box Tops sheets or in a baggie/envelope with the students name and grade: Box Tops – Collection Sheet
- Be sure the Box Tops submitted are not expired (expired Box Tops do not count towards the contest).
- Every valid Box Top submitted is worth $0.10 for the school!!

The Blythe Park Rainbow Run will be a one of a kind experience that is less about speed and more about having fun with your friends and family!
The Rainbow Run will take place on Friday, September 22nd. Participants will run/walk past color stations where they will be sprayed with color (food coloring and water) to decorate their Rainbow Run T-shirts (included in the registration fee).
