Library volunteers are needed to help 1st and 2nd Grade students during their library time this week. 

Volunteers for 1st and 2nd Grade will help students find books for check out and then have the opportunity to read to the students. Please click on the button below to sign-up:

    

Volunteers needed for the Gail Goletz ACES Walk this Friday, May 19th.

The Gail Goletz ACES Walk (All Children Exercising Simultaneously) is the end of the year celebration for the Bulldog Challenge Fitness Program.

Blythe Park students, 1st-5th grade, will walk one mile around the Blythe Park neighborhood during the lunch/recess period. Kindergarteners are encouraged to participate, but must be accompanied by an adult.

After the walk, the students will have lunch in the amphitheater and there will be an awards presentation for students who participated in the Bulldog Challenge this year.

    

The last two Hot Lunches are Friday, May 26th and Thursday, June 1st. *Please register for both days at once.

The menu will include: slice of cheese pizza, seasonal fruit, cookie and a drink. The cost per child is $5.00. To register your child(ren) click on the CheddarUp button below.

You can pay for the Hot Lunch Fundraiser online OR send cash or check (payable to Blythe Park PTA) to the school office with your family name and “Hot Lunch” written on the envelope. You can pay for the remainder of the year or single lunches.

*PLEASE NOTE – All children must be registered online by clicking on the Cheddar Up button below no matter your payment method (cash, check or credit)

Girls Yoga this Wednesday.

Girls Yoga will take place this Wednesday from 3:00-3:45pm in the Blythe Park Gym for girls in Kindergarten-5th Grade. *Class reservation deadline is Tuesday.

Please register online by clicking the Cheddar Up button. Pay online or send cash/check to the school office with “Girls Yoga” on the envelope and child’s name. (Please make checks payable to Blythe Park PTA.)

Kids Tae Kwon Do this Thursday.

Kids TaeKwonDo will be held on Thursday from 3:00-3:45pm in the Blythe Park Gym for all students in K-5th Grade. *Class reservation deadline is Wednesday. You must register by clicking on the Cheddar Up button below to participate.

Cardio Kids will be held this week on Wednesday and Friday at 7:45am for 2nd-5th Grade students. Please have your runners/walkers dressed appropriately for the activity and the weather.

Ms. Gorman, Ms. Rehor and Mr. Bartelt will walk/run with the students around the Blythe Park campus.  (Four laps around the school equals one mile!)

    

Join yoga instructor Wei Huang, first grade parent at Blythe Park, for Adult Yoga classes.

Please consider showing your support for our outstanding Blythe Park students through sponsorship of our first annual Rainbow Run on September 22nd. Runners (students and family members) will wear special t-shirts featuring your company’s logo as they are showered with color at every turn.

This festive, high-energy back-to-school celebration will begin at 5:30 p.m. with dancing, games, and an Ice Cream Social to follow. We would be grateful for your sponsorship and will recognize your generosity through event materials, signage and in our e-blasts.

We are looking for parent volunteers to help with Field Day on Tuesday, June 6th.

To make this event a success, we need a lot of volunteers to run the games. Please take a look at your calendars!  To volunteer, click on the SignUp button below. Older siblings and grandparents are welcome to volunteer too. Just make a note on SignUp Genius as to whom will be attending.

    

Blythe Park PTA’s 2017-2018 School Supply Kit sale will run until June 2nd. All class lists will be available to purchase online from The Write Stuff and be delivered to school.

Online Ordering Instructions

1) Go to www.write-stuff.com/storefront/school/blythe
2) Select grade level.
3) If applicable, select kit within grade level.
4) Enter student name and gender. Note: Item quantities can be changed if you already have an item in the kit.
5) Follow prompts to check out.
6) Save and print email confirmation for your records.

There is no cost to have your kits shipped to school during the sale dates.  If you order after June 2nd or have the kits shipped to another location, standard shipping charges will apply.
