Enjoy an Adult Night Out at Riverside Golf Club to see Stand-Up Comedian Pat McGann!
Chicago native Pat McGann is a stand-up comedian, a television host, and a regular on stage at Zanies! In 2015, he made his second appearance on “The Late Show with David Letterman.” Pat created and hosted the Emmy nominated television show “The Chicago Stand Up Project” and has promised Riverside a night of laughs on October 20th!
Date: Friday, October 20th
Doors will open at 7pm.
Show will begin a 8pm with a comedian opener before Pat comes on stage.
Cash bar throughout the evening.
Food tent (cash only): appetizers and finger food
Location: Riverside Golf Club, 2520 Desplaines Ave, North Riverside
Cost: $20 per ticket *Everyone is welcome! You do not have to have a student at Blythe Park to purchase tickets.

Volunteer spots are available on Wednesdays to help Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grade students during their library time.
Volunteers for Kindergarten will have the opportunity to read to the students. Volunteers for 1st and 2nd grade will help students find books for checkout and then have the opportunity to read to the students.
*NOTE: This year 3rd grade students will be combining their research and checkout into one time slot so weekly readers/helpers will not be needed during their library time.

Ms. Gorman is looking for parent/guardian helpers this year during Cardio Kids. Helpers can sign-up to hand out lap markers or patrol the course to ensure student safety.

REMINDER – Cardio Kids meets on WEDNESDAYS and THURSDAYS for the entire fall session from 7:45 – 8:05am (warm-up begins in the gym).
Students in Grades K-5 are encouraged to join Mrs. Gorman, Mr. Bartelt and Mrs. Rehor for a morning walk, jog, or run on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
*NOTE: All parents/guardians are welcome to participate but parents/guardians of students in kindergarten and first grade MUST be present to walk or run with their child.
The mission of this club is to meet students at their fitness level and show them how to develop stamina, strength and speed. Other goals of the club include building friendships and a strong school community.
