5th Graders: Help Hauser Fight Hunger! –
Bring cans of food OR a monetary donation when you come to Games Night.
It’s time again for the annual Hauser Canned Food Drive and next year you will be part of the great Hauser tradition! For the last 48 years, students have collected and donated over 35,000 cans of food to help fight hunger. Hauser Canned Food Drive Flyer 2018
This year, we are expanding our efforts and Hauser is partnering with Outreach, Inc. to co-host a “Feed Our Community Day” where we will pack meals to donate. We will be collecting donations of can/non-perishable food items as well as monetary donations. Monetary donations will be used to purchase food and support the “Feed Our Community Day.” The food we collect and the meals we prepare will go to the Riverside Township Food Pantry, the Salvation Army Red Shield Center Food Pantry in Englewood, and local residents in need.
So, when you come to Games Night, bring cans of food or a monetary donation to HELP HAUSER FIGHT HUNGER!

The deadline for shoe donations was extended! Donate your gently used or new shoes by this Friday, April 6th.
The Blythe Park Student Council is having a Shoe Drive for “Share Your Soles“. Share Your Soles is a non-profit organization that provides gently worn shoes to those in greatest need around the world. More information can be found at www.shareyoursoles.org
Share Your Soles accepts all types of footwear including gym shoes, sandals, boots and shoes of all sizes (men’s, women’s and children’s). Your gently worn or brand-new shoes will go to people in need who may never have owned a pair of shoes.
It’s important your donated shoes are in good condition to respect the dignity of those receiving them. Shoes older than five years decompose, even if they were never worn. So please: be respectful with your donations, understand that the goal is to provide good, clean shoes to those in need. For example, tennis shoes should include laces and not have holes. Share Your Soles will discard any old, overly worn shoes! Shoe Drive Flyer 2018
