Following is the library schedule for K, 1st, and 2nd grade:

Wednesdays
AM Kindergarten: 8:30 – 8:50am
2nd Grade: 1:50 – 2:20pm
PM Kindergarten: 2:20 – 2:50pm

Thursdays
1st Grade: 12:20 – 12:50pm

Helpers needed for Cardio Kids.

Volunteer spots for parent/guardian helpers are available Wednesdays and Thursdays for Cardio Kids.

Helpers can sign-up to handout lap markers or patrol the course to ensure student safety.

District 96 welcomes back award-winning author, Carrie Goldman, this Wednesday, October 10th at Hauser Jr. High, 7:00pm.

The topic will be “Social Media and Risky Behaviors: How to Make Better Choices”

Join Carrie Goldman as she addresses the tricky topic of dealing with kids and the impulsive decisions they make using social media.

Purchase your tickets online by next Monday, October 15th to see stand-up comedian Jim Flannigan.

DATE – Friday, October 19th
LOCATION – Riverside Town Hall
Doors will open at 7pm
Show will begin a 8:30pm with a comedian opener
$4 per glass for beer or wine at the event
50/50 Raffle
Cost – $25 per ticket *Everyone is welcome! You do not have to have a student at Blythe Park to purchase tickets.

Box Tops Contest – Help your child’s class win a pizza party!

The class with the highest number of valid Box Tops will win a Pizza Party for their class!

Box Tops can be turned in to the office at any time either in a baggie/envelope with the students name/grade OR on collection sheets: Box Tops Collection Sheet
Be sure the Box Tops submitted are not expired (expired Box Tops do not count towards the contest).
Every valid Box Top submitted is worth $0.10 for the school!!

2018-19 PTA Executive Board – 3rd Vice President Election

CORRECTION – The following 2018-2019 PTA Executive Board position will be voted on at the October PTA Executive Board meeting on Tuesday, October 16th.

3rd Vice President, Fundraising – Karla Highland

The 3rd Vice President will then be installed at the October PTA General Membership meeting on Tuesday, October 23rd at 7pm.
