Blythe Park PTA Happenings 10/15/2018

Volunteer spots are available this Wednesday to help Kindergarten and 2nd Grade students during their library time. 

Volunteers for Kindergarten will have the opportunity to read to the students.

Volunteers for 2nd Grade will help students find books for checkout and then read to the students.

Following is the library schedule for K, 1st, and 2nd grade:

Wednesdays
AM Kindergarten: 8:30 – 8:50am
2nd Grade: 1:50 – 2:20pm
PM Kindergarten: 2:20 – 2:50pm

Thursdays
1st Grade: 12:20 – 12:50pm

Volunteer spots for parent/guardian helpers are available Wednesdays and Thursdays for Cardio Kids.

Helpers can sign-up to handout lap markers or patrol the course to ensure student safety.

Sign-up for Kids Yoga – Session 2! Classes start on Wednesday, November 7th.

REMINDER: Session 1 classes end next week (no class on Oct. 31st).

Kids Yoga
Stephanie Roldan from Blissful Owl will instruct Kids Yoga classes every Wednesday from 3:00-3:45pm in the Blythe Park Gym for boys and girls in Kindergarten – 5th Grade.

November 7th – December 19th (6 weeks, no class on Nov. 21)

The Riverside Parks and Rec Winter Session: After School Programs at Blythe Park will begin the week of November 5th.

Classes will take place directly after school dismissal from 3-4pm.

NOTE: Registration deadline is 5 days prior to the class start date.

The Blythe Park PTA Election Day Bake Sale will be held on Tuesday, November 6th.

The PTA is looking for volunteers to bake and help run the sale throughout the day.
