Register by WEDNESDAY for Hot Lunch!

Register by this WEDNESDAY for Hot Lunch – Register your student for the next three months or the remainder of the year (6 months). The Hot Lunch menu will include a slice of cheese pizza, seasonal fruit, a treat, and a drink.

If you have not registered your student by this Wednesday, December 12th, they will not have the opportunity to register again for Hot Lunch until the next payment period in March.

*ATTENTIONThis year, payment options will only be available in the following three-month increments. Single lunch payments will NOT be available this year. Also, no prorating, no make-up days, no refunds.

2018-2019 Hot Lunch PAYMENT Schedule

  • PAYMENT #2 Deadline: Wednesday, December 12th
    for December, January, and February ($15 per student for 3 lunches)
    OR remainder of the year ($30 per student for 6 lunches)
  • PAYMENT #3 Deadline: Wednesday, March 13th
    for March, April, and May ($15 per student for 3 lunches)

If paying by cash or check (payable to Blythe Park PTA) please place payment in an envelope marked with your family name and “Hot Lunch” and bring to the school office. *NOTE – This program is only for children that have the option of staying at school for lunch.

Blythe Park Spirit Day is this FRIDAY!


This Friday, December 14th, is a Blythe Park Spirit Day!

Show off your favorite Blythe Park spirit wear!

Blythe Park Student Council fundraiser next week.

Next week the Blythe Park Student Council will hold a fundraiser to help the victims of the fires in California.

$1 donation (cash only) per day to participate in each of the following daily activities (participation optional).

Donations will be collected in the classrooms each day. All proceeds will go towards helping the fire victims in California.

  • Monday, December 17 – Wear your pajamas OR fanciest outfit.
  • Tuesday, December 18 – Wear a holiday (ugly) sweater and/or holiday socks.
  • Wednesday, December 19 – Wear a holiday hat or headband.
  • Thursday, December 20 – Face Painting: A teacher will paint a snowman or snowflake on your face or hand during lunch recess. Kindergarten and Early Learners will have time during the school day.

Early Learner Gingerbread Extravaganza on December 19th

The Early Learner Gingerbread Extravaganza will take place on Wednesday, December 19th.

Morning classes: 9:50 -10:50 am
Afternoon classes: 1:35 – 2:35 pm

Early Learners and their parents are invited to take part in holiday gingerbread-themed stations.

THANK YOU to all the volunteers who helped craft this year's PTA holiday ornaments! The ornaments are adorable!

*Ornaments will be sent home next week in student backpacks.

Participate in the Six Flags “Read to Succeed” program for a FREE admission ticket.

Log your recreational reading hours and participate in the Six Flags “Read to Succeed” Program to receive one free admission ticket to a participating Six Flags Theme Park this summer.

Every K-5th Grade Blythe Park student who completes six hours of recreational reading and submits a signed reading log by FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 8th will receive one free admission ticket to a participating Six Flags Theme Park this summer.

K-5th Grade STUDENTS: Read for fun for a total of 6 hours, log your time and have your parent/guardian sign the reading log.

PARENTS/GUARDIANS: Print the reading log listed below and help track your child's reading. Then sign the form and send it back to school or email to the School Coordinator: Jennifer Sloger at jensloger@gmail.com

*Tickets are expected to arrive in May.
