Come to school dressed to celebrate the following theme days –

• Tuesday, June 4 – Write a welcome letter to a student coming into your grade next year.
• Wednesday, June 5 – “Earth Dome Day” – Blend in with our Earth. Wear a combination of blue, green, gray, and white.
• Thursday, June 6 – “Take Me Out to the Ballgame” – Wear a baseball jersey or your favorite baseball gear.
• Friday, June 7 – “A Rainbow of Color” – Wear your t-shirt color for Field Day! *NOTE: Notification of team colors will be sent in a separate email.
• Monday, June 10 – “Proud to be a Bulldog – Wear your Blythe Park spirit wear!

As the winner of the Box Tops Contest, the 4th Grade class will be treated to ice cream tomorrow (Tuesday)!

The competition was so close that the PTA will treat ALL students to popsicles on Field Day this Friday!

There will be a PTA sponsored Assembly this Wednesday, June 5th.

EARTH DOME –

Mobile Ed Productions will bring The Earth Dome to Blythe Park on Wednesday. The Earth Dome is a gigantic inflatable earth balloon standing 19-feet high and 22-feet in diameter and is used to educate students about geography as well as environmental issues.

Students will be given a presentation both inside and outside the dome. Students will discover geography on an epic scale and learn about the continents, time zones, latitude, longitude, and more!

FIELD DAY, is this Friday, June 7th. This year's Field Day theme is “Movies”. *NOTE: A separate email was sent to each family with the list of team assignments (AM Kindergarten thru 5th Grade).

Similar to previous years, each student is assigned to a team and each team has been assigned both a team name and team color.

Please have your child wear a t-shirt representing their team color on Field Day.

Event Schedule (AM Kindergarten – 5th Grade) –

• Games – 8:40am – 11:00am
• Lunch – 11:25am – 12:20pm
  Please make sure to send your child with a lunch. Milk will be available. The PTA will be supplying a sweet treat. Students will eat lunch in the amphitheater with their teams. *NOTE: Kindergarten and Early Learners are welcome to attend with an adult.

VOLUNTEER – We are still looking for a few parent volunteers to help out. Click on the corresponding Sign-Up button below. *NOTE: Field Day Volunteers will be sent an email with instructions on Thursday.

Older siblings and grandparents are welcome to volunteer too! Just make a note in the comments when you sign up as to whom will be attending.

Blythe Park PTA's 2019-2020 School Supply Kit sale will run until June 10th*. All class supply lists (Kindergarten thru 5th Grade) are available for purchase online from The Write Stuff. School supplies will be delivered to the school in August.

3) Select “boy” or “girl” kit within grade level.
4) Enter student name. *NOTE: Item quantities can be changed if you already have an item in the kit.
