Free Yoga classes for Blythe Park Community Teachers and Parents

Blythe Park's parents and teachers are invited to a free yoga series! This community-building yoga series is for adults only. No yoga experience required! Come enjoy a yoga class and stay for a cup of tea and social time with other parents and teachers (tea and socializing not required).
Location: Blythe Park Gymnasium
Doors open at 6:45 pm. Use north doors to enter school. Yoga class from 7 pm-8 pm
Social time and tea 8 pm-830pm
Dates and instructors:

– Monday, November 18th /Annette Peterson
– Tuesday, December 10th /Wei Huang
Please join us for one class or all three. Bring your own mat and mug for tea.

Bulb Planting Friday,​ Oct. 25th– Volunteers Needed!

On Friday, October 25th, all Blythe Park students will take part in a fall planting project.

Early Learners – 5th Grade students will plant spring flower bulbs around the perimeter of Blythe Park school.

VOLUNTEER – Parent/caregiver helpers are needed to assist classrooms with the planting. To volunteer, please click on the sign-up button:

Library Readers/Helpers are needed this Wednesday (1st grade) and Thursday (PM Kindergarten.)

Volunteer spots are available on Wednesdays and Thursdays to help Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd-grade students during their library time.

Volunteers for Kindergarten will have the opportunity to read to the students.

Volunteers for 1st and 2nd grade will help students find books for checkout and then read to the students.

Following is the library schedule for K, 1st, and 2nd grade:

Wednesdays (starting October 16th)

9:00-9:20 K Bassing

12:20-12:50 1st PInta

12:50-1:20 1st Dirienzo

Thursdays (starting October 10th)

12:20-12:50 2nd Pollock

1:50-2:10 K Bassing
