Blythe Park PTA Happenings 06/01/2021

Your child will be receiving their Rainbow Run T-Shirt by Thursday. We know the colors from the color run don't stay once we wash them, so we are setting up our PTA Tie Dye station for the kids. We can't wait to have you!!

We are so excited to get you this year's yearbook. We hope you enjoy it.

We are so excited to offer Field Day to end the year on the last day of school. The students will be participating in fun games! The student council has chosen a theme – Ice Cream! Each grade is a different flavor!
Neapolitan – Kindergarten
Double Chocolate Chip – 1st grade
Mango – 2nd Grade
Sherbert- 3rd grade
Chocolate Chip – 4th Grade
Cookies & Cream – 5th Grade

Our Games include:
Water Balloon Toss
Sherbert Cone Sack Races
Cookies and Cream Obstacle Course

We are looking for parents and high school seniors who graduated from Blythe Park Elementary to join in on the fun and help run a game with one other volunteer. Time for grades participating to come.

7:45-8:45 Volunteer- Set up
8:45-9:45 1st, 2nd and 5th Grades
9:45-10:45 Kindergarten, 3rd and 4th Grades

Blythe Park Families,

Please consider signing up to water the Prairie Garden and Butterfly Garden on the west side of the school by June 1. We need one family per week to turn on the soaker hoses for a total of 2 hours each. The gardens need this activity performed 3 times per week preferably every other day.
After the sign-ups are full, we will send home more specific directions and a special key for the water access. Look for this note and key in your child's backpack the week of June 7. We currently need people for July and August.

We need 3 current PTA members to volunteer for an audit with John Bowes. The commitment is as follows:

The committee should plan to conduct the audit in the two-week period between August 3 – 17. This will consist of 1-2 meetings. This will be an in person meeting.
