Blythe Park PTA Happenings 09/13/2021

The Blythe Park PTA will be hosting a Fall Festival for families on Friday, September 24th from 5:00-7:00 pm. Please join us for pumpkin decorating, games, prizes, family photo ops and more! The cost will be $10 per child. Pizza, drinks and snacks will be sold!

This Picnic is in lieu of the traditional winter Fun Lunch and will be during the school lunch period. All students will receive a hotdog, popcorn, fruit, juice box, and a popsicle. Students should bring a beach towel to sit on.

This is no cost to parents for this event and students can bring their own lunch if they do not want the picnic lunch.

AM and PM Kindergarteners are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult. A Kindergarten Parent must attend Fun Lunch with students.AM Kindergarteners can come after pickup. PM kindergarteners can come at 11:45.

Author, Aaron Reynolds is visiting Blythe Park school on Friday, October 1st! Aaron will be signing books on the day of the visit – books must be pre-ordered by September 10th! The order form is linked below.

2. Click the “Create Account” button. EVEN IF YOU HAD A PREVIOUS ACCOUNT – your old account will link if you are using the same email address.
3. Use your email address and select a password. (Login credentials did not transfer from the old platform.)
4. Watch for an email that will ask you to verify your email address and use your newly-created login credentials to log back in.
5. Once you have verified your email address, you need to finish the setup process. Complete the Family Information and the Directory Publish Preferences in “My Account”. Then you're ready to go!

Partnerships between parents, educators, and children enhance children's success. We know that children learn more and have better lives when everyone in the school community works together to share thoughts, information and work on projects to benefit children. The Blythe Park PTA hosts programs that benefit the children at our school. This year we are planning to offer the following:

These events are organized and funded by the PTA and would not be possible without the generous donation of time, fundraising efforts, and direct donations from our parents. Organizing school events during a global pandemic has been an ongoing challenge. Thanks to our community, last year we were able to still offer fun in-person and Zoom opportunities for our families. We are looking to our families to help with new ideas on how to make Blythe Park even more fun! By becoming a member of the PTA, you can become an important part of helping to ensure that these plans become a reality. Benefits of PTA membership include:
