Illustrator Visit Book OrdersJacqueline Alcantara, an award-winning illustrator and former Riverside resident, will visit students on November 19. She will read an excerpt from one of her books, share her illustration process, and provide an art activity. Following her presentation, students can have a copy of one of her books signed. Halloween at BlytheThe lunch hour will remain 11:20 AM-12:20 PM. Students can go home for lunch to change into their costumes and need to be back in their classrooms at 12:20 PM. If staying at school, costumes will go on over students' regular clothing. There is no opportunity to fully change or add hair/makeup.
| | Families can watch the costume parade at 1:00pm in the Blythe Park Amphitheater (weather permitting). Following the parade, students will enjoy a magic show and classroom parties. Room parents may reach out with more details. With the excitement of the holiday and festivities, please remind your child to make responsible choices. |
