Blythe Park PTA Happenings

Our teachers and staff are First Class! We are excited to celebrate them May 4-8 during Teacher Appreciation Week.

You can help by donating funds or stocking the staff lounge.

On Tuesday, May 5, we are asking STUDENTS to wear your teacher’s favorite color or gift them their favorite snack or beverage and send them a postcard. There will also be an opportunity for students to fill out a postcard during lunch on April 30.

Graduation Yard Sign Fundraiser

Show off your Bulldog Pride for the Class of 2026. We are celebrating our Kindergarten and Fifth Grade "graduates" with a yard sign fundraiser!

Purchase by May 3. They will be delivered to Blythe and distributed by May 22.

Hauser Food Drive

The 56th Annual Food Drive has kicked off at Hauser! Drop off non-perishable items at Hauser, Riverside Foods, or the Riverside Library through May 1.

Families (ages 8+) can also volunteer to help pack food with Feed 6 at RBHS on Saturday, May 9.

Dine at Portillo's Forest Park on Thursday, April 30 from 5pm-8pm to send 20% of proceeds back to the PTA! Show the flyer or use online code PORTILLOS12. Get your chocolate cake shake on while supporting our cause!

We are currently recruiting for our open PTA Board positions! Available board positions for 2026-27 are:

  • Co-president (would shadow current president)
  • Communication (could shadow current board member)
  • Volunteer Coordinator (this is an updated position!)

Save the date for our spring family fun night! Skate the night away at Fleetwood Roller Rink on Thursday, May 14, 6pm-8pm. More details coming soon.

ACES Walk: May 13

Students will walk with their class and parent chaperones around the block to celebrate All Children Exercising Simultaneously.

Field Day: May 29

Students have fun outside with parent-led games.
